We are terribly heartbroken to hear this! That must have been frightening and incredibly uncomfortable, and I completely understand why this experience has left you disappointed 😓

I also want to sincerely apologise for how our request for information came across while you were already unwell. To be completely transparent, our first instinct when someone tells us they have had a reaction is to try and understand what happened and gather as much information as we can so we can offer help and support by troubleshooting the issue. I can absolutely see that asking for photos in your situation was inappropriate and insensitive, particularly when the reaction was internal, and there was obviously nothing meaningful you could photograph. You should not have felt like you had to jump through hoops while simply trying to return a product after becoming unwell.

On the sensitivity side, this is never something we would brush off. Our liquids are thoroughly tested and designed for safe at-home use when applied as directed; everyone can react differently to odours, vapours, or particular ingredients. This is also one of the reasons we developed our Low-Odour Liquids, to provide a more comfortable option for customers who are particularly sensitive to scent or vapour. But after an experience like yours, we completely understand why you would feel cautious.

Most importantly, though, we could have handled your request with much more care and made the process easier for you from the very beginning. We’re truly sorry that we added to your frustration at a time when you were already dealing with being unwell.

We'd really like the opportunity to make this right and take as much of the effort off your hands as possible. When you have a moment, could you please send us another message and put “FAO Patricia” in the subject line? I'd love to personally pick this up and work through the remainder of the return and refund process.

We genuinely appreciate your incredibly kind words about our products, and for taking the time to share helpful feedback about your experience.

And I have to say, hearing that your manis survive engineering production without chipping absolutely made our day! Knowing that GLAMRDiP is holding up through genuinely hard work on your hands is one of the greatest compliments you could give us.

We're also really grateful for your patience and understanding around your first order. We are a completely human team behind GLAMRDiP, and while we wish we could tell you that we never make a mistake, the truth is that occasionally, despite our very best efforts, something goes awry. An order takes longer than it should, something gets missed in a shipment, or we have one of those distinctly human “oh no…” moments.

We never want a customer to feel that they have to fight to have an issue recognised or resolved. If we make a mistake, we genuinely want to know about it, because it gives us the opportunity to put it right. Our team will always do everything we reasonably can to fix the problem, make up for the inconvenience and, hopefully, leave you feeling even more looked after than you did before the hiccup occurred.

There can also be a little extra waiting during our biggest sales, particularly our Birthday Sale, simply because the volume of orders can become quite extraordinary. Our warehouse and courier partners can both experience enormous spikes in shipments during these periods. When that happens, our team goes into absolute overdrive --- overtime, extra hours, doing everything humanly possible to get orders moving as quickly as we can.

It certainly isn't an excuse, but it is something we're constantly working to improve, and we're incredibly grateful for the patience and grace our community gives us when things don't go perfectly.

And YES to your pro tip about reading the instructions! We couldn't agree more.

With any new system, it can be tempting to hurry through it or skip something that seems minor. But those little details make all the difference. Taking your time, following each step carefully and allowing yourself to learn the system makes a huge difference especially when you're just getting started.

That said, we also don't want anyone to think they'll be spending an eternity doing their nails forever! Once you've got a few sets under your belt and your hands develop their own little rhythm, the process becomes considerably quicker. We have lots of customers who can comfortably complete a full set in around 20–30 minutes once they've found their groove.

And if you ever find yourself thinking “Surely there must be an easier way to do this…”, please come and ask us! We're always more than happy to share tips, tricks and personalised advice. Sometimes one tiny adjustment is all it takes to make the whole experience feel smoother, quicker and considerably more enjoyable.

Your feedback is exactly the sort of review that means a tremendous amount to our team. Most importantly, we're absolutely delighted that, despite the hiccups with your first order, you still feel the quality of the products and would recommend us.

But more than that, knowing GLAMRDiP has helped you grow your nails after a lifetime of nail biting really means a lot to us. We can completely understand why finding something that finally helped you enjoy your nails and keep them growing would make this experience with sensitivity heartbreaking 😓

Our Low Odour liquids were developed specifically for customers who experience sensitivities, and while they have been game-changing for many members of our community, they do behave differently from our original liquids. The slower drying time helps reduce odour and vapour exposure, but it can also make application more time-consuming.

That said, we would still expect significantly better wear than the one week you've been experiencing. While results naturally vary depending on nail chemistry, application technique, and lifestyle factors, lifting that quickly suggests there may be additional factors at play, and we'd genuinely love the opportunity to troubleshoot that with you. We're always listening to feedback like yours and continuing to work on improving our formulas and finding the best possible balance between comfort, performance, and wear.

I’m genuinely so sorry to read this. More than anything, I’m sorry that what started with you being excited to try GLAMRDiP has turned into such a disappointing experience. Honestly, we would feel the same way in your position 💔

Reading that you and your daughter tried it together and neither of you got the outcome you hoped for makes us especially sad. We also sincerely apologise for the delay in responding. We’ve had an overwhelming volume of messages following our Birthday Sale, but that should never leave a customer feeling ignored or stuck waiting, especially when trying to arrange a return. That isn’t the level of service we’re known for, and we’re genuinely sorry we let you down.

Before you send everything back, we’d love to ask for one last opportunity to help but only if you’re open to it.

From what you’ve described, there are a few things we believe we could make much easier. While our system is designed to be beginner-friendly, we understand there can still be a learning curve with application, shaping and removal, particularly during your first few sets.

We’d love to personally connect you with one of our Mani Experts, who can work with you one-on-one, understand exactly what’s happening during your application and provide tailored guidance. Often a few small adjustments can make a huge difference to both the time involved and the final result.

The same goes for removal. We’re genuinely sorry it has been so difficult. When everything is working correctly, removal shouldn’t be an hours-long battle. We’d be happy to send you a fresh Remove Solution and Remove Bowl completely free of charge and have our team walk you through the process step by step.

For example, something as simple as gently filing through the shiny top layer first allows the solution to properly penetrate the product and can make a significant difference. If anything else in your setup is making removal harder, we want to figure that out with you too.

And Lisa, please don’t worry about the return timeframe. If you’re willing to give us one final chance, we’ll extend your Money-Back Guarantee for however long it takes for you to feel you’ve genuinely had a fair opportunity to experience the system with the right support.

We really do want to turn this experience around for you, whether through personalised troubleshooting, one-on-one guidance, replacement removal products or simply answering every question along the way.

We want to begin by saying how genuinely sorry we are for the experience you had with your order. We completely understand your frustration, and honestly, if we were in your position, waiting for an order that was meant to arrive within a 48-hour timeframe, with no dispatch update and no response when you reached out for help, we would feel exactly the same way 😓

We also want to sincerely apologise for the delay in getting back to you. To be completely open, we were working through an overwhelming volume of messages following the incredible response to our Birthday Sale. While we're incredibly grateful for the support, we know that this is not something our customers should have had to feel the impact of, especially when you were trying to get an update and some reassurance about your order. We never want anyone to feel like they've been left in the dark.

This experience is genuinely not representative of the level of service we want to provide or the standard we hold ourselves to. We're here for every single one of our customers, and it really does upset us to know that we let you down on this occasion. We've been working hard to get through the increased volume and are also bringing additional support into the team to make sure no one is left waiting longer than they should be.

We also completely understand that, by the time this was resolved, the delay meant your order was no longer arriving within the timeframe you had originally paid and planned for. We cannot apologise enough for the fact that we weren't able to get it to you when you needed it.
