Birthday Gift

I bought my gift in England for you to deliver on the 12th May.
My friend received it on the 11th May. .Everything happened as you said and my friend was absolutely delighted with her gift .I would highly recommend

Hi Denise, we received your order after our order cut-off of 2pm (displayed in multiple places on the website), on a Thursday meaning we had to dispatch this on a Friday and as per our website, couriers don't guarantee weekend deliveries so this should have been delivered on the Monday but it was one day late and arrived on the Tuesday. Unfortunately there are still some delays with the courier network that are out of our control. We are glad the recipient enjoyed the gift.

An exceptional company to deal with! They have great options in terms of gifts. They provide regular updates about the shipping. The gift was beautifully wrapped. It takes the stress out of sending a gift. Thank you so much!

The gift package really hit the mark as…

The gift package really hit the mark as it was designed to cheer a tired mum who was dealing with a house lot of Covid, herself included.
Easy process and quite seamless, will definitely use again .

Still not delivered

I ordered the gift basket on 25.04.2022 and requested it be delivered on 28.04.2022. According to the track and trace info it was picked up by the courier in Wellsford and is still there. I understand also with COVID there are delays however I also ordered 3 other gift baskets on the same day from other retailers destined for the same address and they have all arrived so I believe that argument doesn’t really stack up, as one of the gift baskets came from Hamilton. It’s very embarrassing that other members in the house have received their baskets except for one. Obviously I can’t comment on the quality of the basket because the recipient hasn’t received it. Very poor service and not impressed.

Hi Wendy, thanks for taking the time to write a review. We received your order just after midday on the 26/4/22 and as you know we dispatched the order on the same day. Unfortunately we are still finding that we have the occasional order that is held up by the couriers, mainly in Auckland areas. We track these daily and contact the couriers daily to query any delays. I had asked for any reasons for this delay and was only told they had high volumes in the area at the time. (We use various different couriers based on the delays their dashboards show us at the beginning of each day.) We have been told this will be delivered tomorrow at the latest and will be following up again tomorrow to check the status. If for any reason it is not delivered tomorrow, we will send a replacement gift on an overnight service with a different courier. We will include an apology note from us regarding the delay.

I felt from your website that delivery…

I felt from your website that delivery would be a bit like sending flowers. I could choose the day.
However, I chose a Saturday and delivery took nearly 2 weeks, way past what I would have liked when someone has a baby.
I felt I should’ve gone with flowers.

Hi Tracey, thanks for taking the time to write a review. We received your order on Good Friday which is a public holiday and as per our website, our couriers don't deliver over the weekend. Monday the 18th was also a public holiday so your gift was dispatched on Tuesday 19th and our South Island deliveries take 2-3 working days (also stated on our website). Due to the preceding public holidays your order arrived one day later than our stated delivery timeframes. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

A classy birthday gif

A classy birthday gift that was well received. It was delivered 2 days before I requested - better than late. As I ordered it online, and never saw the product, I could have done with more details, e.g. were the incense sticks included?

Thanks for the review Edwin. We are having to dispatch orders a little early currently to some areas but we do place a sticker over the tape on the box saying 'Please open on X date' (the date requested). Hopefully the couriers will soon become more predictable with their delivery times again. This gift is a beautiful brass holder for the MAHO incense sticks. We do say in the description in bold: Pair with Boxed MAHO Sensory Sticks. As you have raised this however, we will add to the description that this includes the holder only.
