Made my first purchase from Gant this week, a ladies' leather belt. It arrived in style, in eco friendly paper and tissue paper, beautifully packaged and with a personal message to me - what a lovely touch you don't see often.
The belt itself is absolutely gorgeous, very good quality and perfect size. I am very happy with the whole experience.

Gants sizing
I have been a Gant customer for years. Over the last couple of years they have totally changed their sizing. What used to be XL is now 2XL and 2XL 3XL. I have been buying their Arley Jeans for many years and never had a problem with the size. These have now been replaced with their regular fit jeans which despite being the same size are smaller on the waist tight on the thighs. 'Gant we are not all slim and young'. People come in all shapes. If you want to lose business continue on this path.

Falta de cuidado/atencao no envio da minha encomenda
Fiz uma compra n. PT003612574 na Gant online no dia 24/2/26, só recebi a encomenda no dia 4/3/26. Nunca responderam aos meus emails. Enviaram a encomenda sem um porta fatos e apenas dentro de um saco plástico, sem nenhum cuidado, nem proteção com o transporte da mesma. A meu ver, a peça devia vir acondicionada numa caixa porque sempre protege mais, porque no transporte vem junto com várias encomendas. A peça é o valor também agradecia um porta fatos. Foi uma desilusão em todos os sentidos, não existiu o mínimo de cuidado e atenção com a peça e muito menos com o cliente, uma falta de atenção, respeito, responsabilidade com o cliente/consumidor.
Gant has the worst customer service
Gant has the worst customer service. I returned a top for exchange . They got it on the 2nd of Feb. To this day I haven’t received the exchange nor have I been refunded my money. I have called and written several times. But all I get from them is we’ve received the top and the warehouse will send you one in due course! I’ve asked for the money to be refunded but even that is proving to be hard. They say they’re working on it and they’ll get back but no one calls or writes back with any progress. I’ve had to go to my bank and see if they will be able to help! The worst customer service and it’s Unacceptable!
Extremely poor customer service
Ordered 2 items which, instead of being delivered to me were returned to Gant. Issue with Evri. Phoned customer services to be told they wouldn’t resend items as these are ‘winter stock’ and they are now only selling ‘summer stock’. I purchased these items when being sold on your website last week (Actually still being sold). The issue isn’t with the purchase, it’s with the delivery. I’m sorry but this is an unacceptable response. For a so called luxury brand, I expect more.
I am just sorry I didn’t read these reviews before ordering. Like other customers I have spoken to different Gant advisors and been given contradictory information.
The returns policy is a shambles
The returns policy is a shambles. The online return form would not accept the address two shirts were delivered to. (extremely long sleeves). Several phone calls ensued.
One of the shirts seemed to get lost on the return journey but did arrive. It then took a long time to refund.
It seems I'm not alone in my complaints, hence the low Trust Pilot rating. I wish I'd checked

Schlechte Qualität
Schlechte Qualität, Herrenpullover sofort retourniert, so eine schlechte Verarbeitung nie gesehen bei einer Marke. Die Daunenjacke Wolljacke Made in China, fühlt sich auch nicht hochwertig an. Wird keine weitere Bestellung geben. Das Kundenservice war freundlich. Aber: bei einer beschädigten Verpackung hätte ich als Kunde die Reklamation bei DHL abwickeln sollen. Das macht aber der Verkäufer/Absender. In Österreich liefert Post AG, nicht Dhl. Sollte man schon wissen, hat mich Zeit gekostet und war nervig.

I have been a Gant customer for over 20 years and normally buy from the store. I ordered something on line and there’s a Technical’ problem on my order for £103. The order is stuck in their system and they can’t release it, or cancel. The customer support is awful (called and spoke to 3 different people for updates) have just been told ‘a ticket has been raised’ so no goods and no money! I asked how I put in a written complaint as was told they were the complaints department and there was nothing they could do - I am sure this is illegal as they have my money and will not give it back!!!! Can’t believe how bad thi service is and they don’t seem to care.

Shockingly bad customer experience
Returned an item after Christmas delivered to Gant on 29th December 2025. 1 month later on 29th January 2026 still no refund. Had to provide tracking details twice!!!!!! Direct quote from Customer Service Specialist…

We apologise for the inconvenience. We can confirm that your return was received at the warehouse on 29/01. Please note that it can take up to 14 working days for our warehouse team to process a refund.

Well if the customer service SPECIALIST can't work out the difference between December and January goodness knows what the ordinary customer service people are like!
Suffice to say Gant are no longer on my list of reputable companies.

I returned my goods and sent a follow up email requesting confirmation of receipt of goods and details of my refund. After 5 attempts still nothing.
If they were not such a reputable company I’d say I was scammed. Although how reputable can they be if they don’t even reply
Is Gant going to survive as a brand?
The quality of Gant's clothing has deteriorated markedly over the last few years, and now they have moved on to breaking the law when it comes to refunds for returned items - they do not refund within 14 days as per consumer law in the UK. Unfortunately this all points to the increasingly likelihood of the demise in the next few years of this once amazing brand.

Disseram que iam processar a devolução na semana passada, mas tal não aconteceu.
Inadmissível, péssima experiência, não voltarei a comprar.

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered two shirts, realised straight away they were the wrong size. Tried contacting GANT - customer service is only opened 0900-0100 so no response.
I returned the shirts, no confirmation email to say they had received the return so i had to contact them again. A few days later they responded to say they had received the package on 2nd and refund would be 7-10 days.
No refund appeared. Again because of limited time to call i used the contact form on two separate occasions and am still waiting for a response .
I managed to call today and someone said the refund wasn't issued yet . When i asked why the response was “ i dont know” and inform me I SHOUlD receive the refund within 5 days .

Qualität mangelhaft
Leider! laufen die Pullover selbst bei Handwaesche ein. Das ist bei diesem Preis eine Unverschämtheit. Der Pullover hat in der Länge ca 5 cm verloren und die ausgestellten Ärmel - die den Chic ausmachten - sind jetzt ganz normale Ärmel. Enttäuschung pur!!!

Could they have got more wrong yes the colour was right but size and style wrong. I have bought many Gant products in the States and found them excellent but will not be buying online again
