Booked for my son’s birthday party and contacted them before the event to pay but received nothing back. Tried to phone, phone lines down. I contacted them via email again and on Facebook and got nothing back. I then got a message to say they are updating their website and they’d be back in touch with me in a couple of days. I booked somewhere else because I knew they wouldn’t be in touch and I was right. No communication whatsoever. If I hadn’t have tried to pay in advance I would have had a very disappointed child. DO NOT BOOK

What a con!

I called and chased for a quote several times, and eventually got through

Then I sent an email, off a previous enquiry and instead of quoting me the true price, they just said £4000 for a laser maze!

They must think we are idiots, as you can buy the damn thing for less than half that cost

So AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS as they are ripping people off if they can

Oh and yes we found another company who came in and told us the truth and said £800 for a bigger maze that can be outdoors, unlike this company who would only do indoors and try and rip people off

Update, we just found a maze to buy around £1000, so saved ourselves a ton of hassle using these guys, no wonder so many poor reviews they have before I left mine

£4000...what a joke...at least we can now hire our maze nationwide, so glad we were pushed to just buy our own

We hired an inflatable from Funbounce for an important event and were left extremely disappointed by the experience. Prior to the event, they were unable to provide the PAT Test certificate that the venue required—a basic safety compliance issue that should have been addressed without hesitation.

On the day, things only got worse. They first called to say they would be an hour late, which would have been after guests had already arrived. They then rang again to push the arrival time back even further. I requested a partial refund to cover the lost time, and the delivery driver said he would speak to Becki about it. Despite this, I never received a follow-up call and—more importantly —the inflatable never arrived at all.

We have yet to receive a full refund. My colleague and the venue team all spoke to Becki and reported that she was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to take any responsibility for the poor service.

I would caution others to think carefully before booking with Funbounce.

Superb Entertainment Hire!
Becky and the team at Funbounce Entertainments made our event an absolute roaring success through the ease of service and professional items, delivery and collection.
We hired 3 inflatables plus some sumo suits for our event and they were in immaculate condition. You can tell the company looks after their equipment well.

The delivery and collection team were very friendly and very helpful in respect of best locations for the items. Their professionalism shone through immediately and their friendliess meant we were up and running with plenty of time and no stress.

Most of all, I was extremely impressed with the help from Becky in our planning for the event. She was very informative of what was needed to make our event a success and provided insight into best arrangements.

The whole process of hiring with Funbounce Entertainments was easy, cost-effective and fun. I would highly recommend using their services and equipment and hope to work with them again soon.

Avoid this company at all costs!
Booked 2 large inflatables over a month in advance and paid in advance, for a children's football presentation event.
Received numerous confirmation emails leading up to the event.
On the morning of the event at 8am I received a call from the company cancelling the booking leaving us completely in the lurch. They refused to provide any alternatives. They refused to try and source any alternatives from elsewhere and they refused compensation.
When I pointed out that this was unacceptable and I would be leaving reviews as such the female on the phone became rude and threatened to hire solicitors.

We hired the pirate ship inflatable from Funbounce for our sons birthday party.
We received excellent service, from booking right through to collection.
The inflatable itself was excellent, delivered and put up by a two guys who were incredibly patient with my very excited son... and collected when they said it would be, all very efficient.
They have a great selection of inflatables so we'll definitely be booking again.

Great company have used twice for Adult Team building events. They're competitive on pricing, ordering is quick and seamless, delivery was on time and take down also on time. Very efficient and friendly. Highly recommend Funbounce Entertainments!

I made a booking request via their website form and then had to cancel four days later because i had learned my little boy would have to go in for an operation and therefore we would have to reschedule his party. I cancelled only four days later and 9.5 weeks before the party but they insisted on charging me an astronomical cancellation charge.

Enquired to see if certain inflatables were available for a certain date. Got a quote back from Becky which was a bit more than I expected so asked to requote, minus one of the games. Got an email back saying this was now a confirmed booking, could not be changed! Explained to Becky that the quotation hadn't even been accepted, an agreement hadn't been signed and she had until the end of the day to requote or I'd go elsewhere. Becky then send me an email cancelling the entire booking!
After reading the other reviews on here, looks like a lucky escape!

FOLLOWING ON FROM MY PREVIOUS REVIEW, IN THAT IF I COULDNT GET THE WEDDING VENUE TO CONFIRM THE TYOE OF FUSE BOARD AND SOCKETS AND THE ENDLESS T AND CS THAT I THEN ASKED TO CANCEL THE BOUNCY CASTLE AND JUST HIRE ALL THE LARGE GARDEN GAMES AND POSTBOX THAT THEY THEN CANCELLED SAYING YOU CANT HIRE THOSE WITHOUT HIRING A BOUNCY CASTLE SO YOU OWE US £240 FOR A BANK HOLIDAY OVER 18 MONTHS AWAY THAT THEYLL EASILY SELL WHEN ID REPEATEDLY PUT IN EMAIL I NEEDED TO READ T AND C THEN WOULD PAY BOOKING FEE TO SECURE IT. GOT REPEATEDLY THREATENING EMAILS FROM OWNER THAT IT WOULD GONTO DEBT COLLECTORS WHEN SHE IGNORED MY COMPLAINT OF HOW IVE BEEN TREATED SAYING ITS TOUGH TIMES FOR US ALL. SO MY FIANCÉS PARENTS PAID THESE BULLIES THEN 3 MONTHS LATER THEY COME ASKING AGAIN FOR A DEPOSIT FOR SOMETHING THEY CANCELLED AND I NEVER BELIEVED ID BOOKED OR THEY WERE GOING TO DEBT COLLECTORS SO ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND THREATENING! ALSO I BELIEVE THE COMPANIES THEY USE AS REFERENCES ARE A LIE AS NOT ONE SINGLE NAMED PERSON CAN BE FOUND WORKING FOR THESE BIG NAMED COMPANIES. AVOID THIS COMPANY ARE CORRUPT BULLIES,

On 4th February booked three items for a 40th Party on the 18th March 2022. I paid by bank transfer at the beginning of March. One week before the party on the 11th March, I received an e-mail cancelling due to covid. I called to ask for a refund asap, as I had the unenviable position of needing to arrange entertainment less than a week before the party. A refund was not made until I called to chase payment as I had not received my money 2 days before the party. Ridiculous position to be put in at short notice, e-mail said they apologised but there was no such sentiment on the telephone or with the speed at which they processed the refund. I would not want to be left in such a situation again so would not recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOULL THINK YOUR BOOKING IS ONLY CONFIRMED ONCE YOUVE PAID THE BOOKING FEE THATS ON THE BOUNCY CASTLE WEBPAGE. YOURE WRONG ONCE YOU MAKE CONTACT BY EMAIL ENQUIRING IF EVERYTHING IS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR BIG DAY AND HOW MUCH IT WILL COST AND HOW YOU PAY THE DEPOSIT TO SECURE THE BOOKING. THEY WILL SEND YOU AN EMAIL SAYING ITS BOOKED AND YOURE THEN LOCKED IN EVEN THOUGH YOUVE NOT READ THE ENDLESS T&Cs OR PAID THE DEPOSIT. THEN WHEN YOU REALISE YOU CANT JUMP THROUGH ALL THEIR ENDLESS LIST OF T&Cs SUCH AS YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN DESIGNATED FIRST AIDER AS THEIR STAFF YOURE PAYING TO MAN THE CASTLE ARENT TRAINED. IF YOURE USING ELECTRIC IT HAS TO BE A CERTAIN SPEC OF SOCKET AND FUSE BOARD ETC ETC (TRY GETTING YOUR VENUE TO ANSWER THE LONG LIST OF REQUIREMENTS TO MEET THEIR T&C). IF THERES THE SLIGHTEST THING NOT RIGHT IT STATES WE WILL LEAVE THE PREMISES WITH OUR GOODS AND YOULL GET NO REFUND. IF YOU HIRE A GENERATOR THEY STATE YOU SHOULD HIRE 2 BECAUSE IF THEY BREAKDOWN THEYRE NOT LIABLE FOR REFUNDING YOU THE COST OF THE BOUNCY CASTLE EVEN THOUGH THEYRE THE ONES BRINGING YOU THE FAULTY GENERATOR. IF LIKE ME YOURE TO ILL TO JUMP THROUGH ALL THE HOOPS SO DECIDE TO CANCEL JUST THE CASTLE THATS FOR 2 YEARS TIME, THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 50% OF WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO HIRE AND CANCEL THE BOOKING COZ YOU CANT HAVE ANYTHING ELSE THEY RENT IF YOU AINT HIRING A BOUNCY CASTLE NOT THAT THEIR WEBSITE MAKES THAT OBVIOUS TO YOUR AVERAGE JOE! SO BEING CHARGED £239 AND IF WE DONT PAY ITS GOING TO DEBT COLLECTING COMPANY IN WHICH IT SAYS THEYLL CHARGE UPTO 2000% ON TOP! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND I AM NOT CONVINCED THE BIG COMPANIES THEY NAME KNOW WHAT THIS COMPANY HAS TURNED INTO AND SURE WOULDNT WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH HEAVY HANDED BULLIES WHO ARE VICTIMISING SOMEONE WHO IS CLASSED AS HAVING A DISABILITY….
