Freya & Thor offers Swedish handmade, sleek & minimalistic jewellery, taking inspiration from Norse Mythology. The brand was founded in April 2017, with an ambition to offer modern bracelets, necklaces, earrings & rings with a unique design. The Hammer Mjölner became our first Collection, & symbol for protecting the world against inequality, pollution & other threats of the modern world. In 2020 we designed and launched the second main collection out of inspiration from Freya and her tales. Out of deep affection & longing for her husband, travelling the world during long times, she cried Golden Tears the tales tells. The Tear drop became our symbol of deep love in the Tear of Freya Collection. Freya’s second Collection saw it’s light in 2022 – “Lynx of Freya”, designed based on the trust, loyalty & devotion the wild cats showed Freya, helping her pull her chariot whenever travelling somewhere. We not only aspire for people to wear our products and look good, but we also hope you as a wearer will strive to defend our world from poverty, pollution and other for our world evil things, just as Thor did. This is such a lovely bracelet - beautifully packaged with a personal message included.
Unfortunately, the size I originally ordered was too big for me but Thor of Sweden were really helpful and the exchange process was super easy. Now I have a lovely bracelet that is the perfect fit!

Saw your adverts on Facebook and thought it would be great idea for my daughter who is very much into her Norse mythology and also a big fan of Thor in MCU. I was not disappointed - she loves it.

Expecting chunkier hammer
For the price I was expecting the pendant part Thor’s hammer to be a little chunkier in size/weight and had to swap the chain it arrived with, as it was too short for my neck - would have been nice to have the option for a longer chain as the chain it arrived with was a lovely style and suited the pendant more than the alternative I’m using.
Overall a nice piece but a bit on the delicate side.

Lee - thank you for your input and feedback! We will take a look at the length of the necklace and might see if there is a way to do two versions. It sounds like you exercise a lot to become as strong as Thor himself... :)
Our customers have enjoyed the 500mm length - but like I said, we will look into it! :)
When it comes to the pendant we have, in the beginning, had a loong and detailed "back-and-forth" process on the piece, and we eventually landed with this one, since it is perfect in weight and size in order for it not to slip around the wrist when making the bracelets. When working with hand-made pieces like these you start out with a design, make a first version, make a mold out of that, goldsmith it, make a new mold out of that and forge and gold smith again - then you have the piece. The foundry process needs to be right, because you don't really get a second serve. That is why we had such a long and detailed process before deciding finally on the piece we were going for.
What in the end was the most important part was the weight...
Yet again though - we love "talking" to our customers and really appreciate all the input we get in order for us to get better and better on what we do!

Size !!!! I ordered “Large “ and received large, but it only just fits and I have small wrists.
Due to size I’m leaving it on all the time, so it will be getting wet showering.
Next time I will order the next size up.

Where to start! Not sure I’ve ever encountered such a lovely company.
When I placed my order for my husbands birthday present the website crashed as I was trying to pay and I couldn’t get back in,
I only had a week until his birthday, so I messaged them and they couldn’t have been more helpful, they started to prepare my order whilst they sent me through a link to pay and then they got it in the post asap!
They also sent it express for me even though I’d only paid for tracked and they messaged to tell me they hope it arrives but under the current situation they couldn’t promise but I could sing my husband happy birthday bracelet song 😂
So it arrived the day before his birthday but I was out! 🙈 so they redelivered the next day and my husband was over the moon with it! So happy as he’s been after one for ages! They had even put a happy birthday note in it! What a lovely company, I will definitely be recommending to everyone ⭐️
