I contacted Frederick’s associates via some form I had to fill in line regarding claiming tax back for washing uniform ! I have had no correspondence from them with their work and then I have received 3 invoices saying I owe them £800! I called them as I am a massive worrier and they asked me to set a direct debit up to pay ! I did so but have not paid as of yet … I do not know what to do I am besides myself with worry … I’ve told them to cancel it several times and that has fallen of deaf ears ! I got another email today telling me that I needed to pay my first instalment ! I think this is a scam but I’m very worried at present reading all these reviews too …

Dreadful company. Leeches that harass and bombard you all the time, yet charge you £72 for the hassle. When you ring up, the tell you bare faced lies. Stay well away.

I started receiving letters and demands from this company some 6 months ago saying I owed £456.00 from a claim dating back to January 2023. I cannot even remember dealing with this Company. Today, I have received documents from HM Courts and Tribunals saying that Fredrick Edwards will be looking to take me to court unless I pay £730.10 !!!!!! Absolute JOKE this company should NOT IN ANY WAY be able to trade. I think Fredrick Edwards Associates Ltd should be taken to Court not innocent people like myself. SCAM SCAM SCAM DONT GET CAUGHT

Scamming bastards, telling me I’ve signed a contact with a cancellation face , they add VAT on everything, take 40% of your claim but don’t even do the claim correctly. Then come with all these excuses about how HMRC have done this and that! NO your scammers and just want to take every penny you can. Also took 10 months to even be completed so I told them I don’t went to work with them anymore and tried blagging a cancellation fee etc when I’ve not agreed to anymore tax years to be complete.

Used them for a tax claim did not receive, then got charged £70 pounds and then more charges when I did not pay, every week phone calls threatening letters, then they sold my debt to a debt agency firm were I have been paying for a year by step change then on Friday gets a letter from fredrick edwards saying I have fallen behind on my payments and the account has gone back to them I have never missed a payment, when I rang them they said we'll I would say that and after being on hold for 5mins was told they don't use that debt firm anymore they have put my original debt back to the start even though I have been paying a year, these are scammers just look at all the reviews, they are scum do not use them, not sure what date I was scammed by them so just put 3 years ago

Charged me 40% for my claim. Didn't get notified before I made the claim

I have had a 600 pound bill for giving them wrong information and I told them where to go and they said that ok we will start legal proceedings what ever they are big scammers and they no it

Stay away from this company. They keep hassleling me for 2 years now they want me to pay £576 2 invoices of £288 dont know why 2 invoices it's a scam I've got now trading standard involved after a solicitor consultation they said they are in breach of customer act and in breach of customer law. So I am not liable for any payment unless they can show me otherwise which I doubt very much. So my advise to you all who's being scammed by this company get trading standard involved.

Scam company charging me £72 to pay because if some misunderstanding

A friend who works in care clicked on a Facebook post saying she could be owed tax.
Being a nightshift care worker it took her eye. She filled in the online questions and conveniently told she was owed tax because she had overpaid. Next thing she is recieving phone calls, texts and letters telling her she had not paid the fees for their services and had incurred a large bill. She had not given the go-ahead - she was simply making enquiries. Next thing she is recieving letters threatening debt collectors. My friend called HMRC and was advised to ignore all forms of communication but she explained she will call the company and inform them they will not be getting any further information and she would not pay any fees and informed them that HMRC are investigating them. She also requested all further forms of contact to be by post only. Fredrick Edwards associates then hung up on the phone. Been advised they are clever scammers who use click bate on numerous social media platforms. Report report and report some more. If HMRC owe you money they will make contact with you. Remember - If it sounds to good to be true then it usually is.

Avoid at all cost!!!.
First they get your signature from an online form and affix it to a letter of authority which you would not have a chance to read and agree to first before signing.

They would assure you it is a "No win no fees arrangement"

They always avoid written correspondence so you do not have any evidence to hold against them.

They all have same registered office address and Directors. Check on Company's house website

They will confuse you as to who you are dealing with.

They have no intention of providing any meaningful help. The moment you decide you have had enough and ask to cancel, they hide behind the agreement and insist you owe cancellation fees. In the end you are asked to pay even more than the amount they claimed they would recover for you, despite never delivering any service of real value

If you refuse to pay, they would assign your debt to a collection agent and your interest keeps growing.

If you have had any dealings with them, here are the steps i advice you to take.

Report then to

1. the Information Commissioner’s Office. The company purport their ICO Registration Number as ZB022211, which you should quote when reporting

2. Report them to HMRC through their online form

3. Report them to Trading Standards

4. Report them to Citizen's advice

5. Report to the Police.

Let us begin to massively report this organisation to save others from falling prey

To listen to customers when they tell you they no longer work for companies and not to seek legal means to get money from you for work not done.

Absolute joke, con artists to the very core. Avoid at all costs

Nothing. Charging big cancellation fee, not sending paperwork what been signed, lying, nobody been calling but said we been trying to contacted. Absolutely fake helpers. Highly not recommended to nobody this company if you don't want to be charged.
