Yesterday, we had the opportunity to attend the CommuniTea Chinwag at Uplands Community Hall with Matt Gunns which runs on the first Friday of every month. This social group for the over 60s provides a safe space for everyone to come together, have conversation and a bit of a laugh! With plenty of refreshments, a cheeky raffle and even some singing to lift the spirits, it is a reminder that there are offerings like this in the community which foster a real sense of belonging.
Slow and uncaring
My Buyer is using Fosters but in all honesty they have been so slow, it really looks like they don't care, They raised enquiries in September, and just when we thought we would be exchanging in March they raised some more enquiries most of which had been answered, They seem unwilling to to complete by April the 1st which would cost their client more stamp duty, and as she is unable to move around her current home, theirs would have been a new start for her,
This is a empty property with no chain involved, had taken nearly 6 months. Unfortunately I can't continue with this slow process so unless we complete by April 1st we will not continue,

To whom it may concern, my daughter Courtney Burt and myself Ray Dougal (Courtney's dad) would like to give some feedback and comments as to how Nimisha Bhayani handled the case of Courtney going completely deaf in her left ear, after a grommet insertion, On 14/02/2011 when she was 6 years old, Courtney is now 19. Nimisha took on the case approximately 2 years ago, from taking on Courtney's case right up until now. Nimisha has kept us informed every step of the way and always by telephone calls. Nimisha is very polite and always explained everything in detail. When the expert report came back, that nimisha had requested it was so unfavourable to Courtney, Courtney and myself gave up hope after reading the report. I don't know how nimisha done it but she carried on negotiating and they made an offer of £10,000 without admitting any neglect. The offer was open for 21days to accept or reject the offer, nimisha asked for a further 21day extension and with Courtney's consent nimisha rejected the offer but only with a garentee that the £10,000 offer would stand until the extension date was up. They then came back with a new offer of £15,000 which Courtney obviously accepted, I cannot imagine anyone doing a more thorough and excellent job than nimisha has done. Thank you nimisha, Courtney and Ray.

Last night Fosters hosted a informal event for undergraduates, one that offered some real insight into a career in law and a snapshot of life inside a busy regional law firm.
The event saw students from the University of East Anglia Law School join us at our Norwich Bank Plain office, where they were welcomed by our Chief Executive, Chris Brown, plus lawyers and trainee solicitors from across the firm including Family, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Commercial Property teams.

From the very first meeting with Chris Turner I felt at ease, he was so pleasant and welcoming. He was a great listener and I never felt rushed. We discussed my potential injury compensation claim and Chris explained fully all my options and possible difficulties along the way. Our Fosters Solicitors Community Heroes for December are Debbie Wright and Hope Rogers, chosen by Big C Cancer Charity and the Community Sports Foundation.
The two charities have recently teamed up to launch a joint fundraising event for 2025; the 150-Mile Challenge. Starting on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in King’s Lynn, Richard Pearce of Barclays Wealth, Canaries legend Grant Holt, and Adam Miller from Arc Group will lead a 150-mile journey around the north of the county, walking day and night until they arrive back on the Carrow Road pitch, when Norwich City take on Portsmouth on Friday, April 18.
