I booked a flight from New Zealand to the UK through Flight Centre and was really impressed with the price and customer service. The staff were great, and overall I had a really good experience booking through them. The only thing I found a little confusing was navigating the app and how the communication between Flight Centre and the airline’s app worked.

I liked Flight Centre enough that I wanted to use them again to book another holiday or cruise. However, this is where I became quite disappointed.

I was looking for a holiday for **one person travelling by myself**, but it seems like most of the holiday and cruise options are designed around couples or families. When I found options I liked, they either weren’t available for one person or I was being charged the same price as if I were booking for two people.

I’m genuinely wondering — where on earth do you go to book holidays when you’re travelling by yourself? 😅

I’d really like to see more options specifically for solo travellers, or pricing that doesn’t make you feel like you’re paying for a second person who isn’t even there.

I would happily use Flight Centre again because I had such a good experience with my flights, but the lack of affordable solo holiday options is definitely something that would make me look elsewhere.

We booked for a family of 6 people in total. My review is for two reasons. No response to head office re complaint, plus the agent themselves make two booking errors but will not refund the excess I paid for their incompetence . Don't know where to get any support.

I was overseas & under some stress & needed help to tend to ticket changes in a timely manner. Renee Claasen from the Chartwell Hamilton branch was empathetic & understanding, & made short work of getting my changes made as well as organising a paper copy to be available for me to collect in the city where I was. I was grateful for her help & kindness.

Chantal was our agent. She did a superb job of both finding flights that suited our needs best, and then dealing with issues that arose, due to the Iran war, which impacted our flights. In the past I had tended to book flights directly myself rather than via an agent. But when things change or go wrong there can be a lot of work in sorting things out. Having an agent deal with all those hassles for me, and with them having more knowledge of what airlines can offer when things do go wrong, was HUGELY helpful. Would definitely recommend Chantal from Flight Centre Cambridge to anyone.

Gianfranco Belloli was amazing - instantly got what we were trying to achieve and was super helpful, responsive to questions (even from the other side of the world :-)), everything went smoothly.

Angela Hunt from Flight Centre in Napier has been the most helpful and accommodating agent to deal with. Our holiday plans changed more than once as more people came on board and Angela made it so easy for us, nothing was a problem and she had all the flights and accommodation updated within the day. Expert advice and fun to deal with, we will go where Angela goes for any travel plans in future!

We loved being able to just tell Yvonne what we wanted out of our holiday and she pulled together options that we could choose from.

The booking process was super easy and Yvonne was very responsive throughout, from the time of booking all the way to the days before we took off.

I had a great experience booking flights with Nicola. My trip is quite complicated, but this was all managed well, including the baggage arrangements which differed on some flights.

Our travel agent at Flight Centre who supported us, Saffron Darby was very well organised, knowledgable on the travel locations we are travelling to, and efficient with her communication. From organising international flights, internal travel through the US, airport transfers, travel insurance and hotel preferences, Saffron covered it all exceptionally well. Well done to the team at Flight Centre Porirua.
