WARNING: Check your statements months after
I had an assesment it was great very helpful doctor. I had read reviews about these taking payment after the fact but thought it may be just people not checking.
As soon as I had my assesment they took a payment and I emailed they said they would refund and cancel, today I spot yet another payment come out and cant see refund of first.
Now legally under GDPR they shouldnt even have my card details as it was cancelled so imagine how many customers they are pocketing from if this is standard practice.

Getting access to this kind of…
Getting access to this kind of treatment and testing as an adult is expensive and walled by obscenely long wait times. Fastreat provides a streamlined, more affordable option for that, which I am very grateful for. My provider has always been detailed in her communication with me, and quick to respond. The treatment I have recieved has been life changing, and as the name would suggest, very fast.
As with anything there is one drawback. You must pay 100$ every time you need to send a message to renew your prescription. Providers do not respond to faxes from pharmacies, because the service requires the fee. If you have a family doctor, and youre waiting in a long waitlist for testing and treatment, this service is perfect for you. But if you're like me, a working person without a family doctor, make sure you're ready for the financial commitment this kind of private care requires.

assessment process needs significant improvement
I booked an ADHD assessment through FasTreat, but the consultation lasted only about 10 minutes and did not feel sufficiently thorough. I was asked questions that repeated information I had already provided, and I left without the clear clinical reasoning or detailed, individualized report I expected for the fee.
During the appointment, I was also told that I might have bipolar disorder and should seek further assessment, but this was communicated very vaguely, without a clear explanation of what symptoms or findings supported that concern. Receiving a suggestion of that significance without proper context or discussion was unsettling.
My concern was not that I did not receive an ADHD diagnosis—it was the quality, depth, and value of the assessment itself. I was also surprised by the additional $99 membership charge when I was not moving forward with treatment.
To their credit, Carol from customer support was empathetic, responsive, and professional. FasTreat refunded the full membership fee, provided a 50% refund of the assessment fee, and addressed my cancellation request. I appreciated how support handled my complaint, but the initial assessment process needs significant improvement and care.

Saying that this company is a scam is not…
EDIT - I would like to directly respond to their below response for the avoidance of doubt.
They are expecting me to pay the £99 after shared care has been established. I have since reached out to a much more reputable, in person, psychiatric organisation and have agreed for them to take over my care with ongoing costs being £150 per year. This is because, as I stated below, annual medication reviews are actually the norm for adult care. There are no further admin costs associated with using this new provider. The Fastreat care would be almost £2,000 a year for a terrible online service. Unfortunately, I cannot name this provider in a review but if you have ever researched the private psychiatric system in the UK, they probably came up!
Fastreat have also removed the care prior to the end of my billing period when I cancelled my direct debit which is a direct consumer breach and has been noted for further action.
They have done absolutely nothing after I reached out to them from their below request to email them. They didn’t even send the documents to my GP when requested when I was still paying the fee. They have dragged out the shared care process to almost 3 months now.

Saying that this company is a scam is not an exaggeration
The pricing is misleading and incredibly predatory
Most of the reviews here which are positive are people who’ve just been diagnosed and have not been subject to the ongoing extortion from this company.
They charge you £99 a month (for what, I do not know) which is the headline offer but then every 15 minute appointment with a clinician costs £89 on top of that £99. A clinician who has no desire to talk to you to the point that their disinterest is quite frankly just rude. You have to have one of these appointments every single time you need to change medication dose during titration which may be every 2 weeks! You could be racking up £300+ in fees a month during titration.
Then heaven forbid you want shared care. They draw out the process for months whilst you are, of course, continuing to pay them £99 a month, they are essentially holding your diagnosis for ransom to continue to extort you for as long as possible.
The two fees you pay to get their shared care forms are:
£50 – Shared Care Agreement processing
£50 – Stability Confirmation Letter
Which are surely admin costs covered in the £99 leaving my bank account month (again, no answers about what this money actually does)
Then they have the cheek to tell you that you will need to pay £169 every THREE MONTHS for them to monitor you even after you get shared care. This is NOT standard procedure in adult care and barely less than the £99/month. They say this is for: ‘ The quarterly review includes ongoing specialist clinical monitoring, such as reviewing your blood pressure, weight, medication effectiveness, and overall safety.’ - but they’re obviously not physically checking any of those metrics and I can only assume it’s another offensively unbothered clinician reading off some basic questions from a sheet whilst they try to keep their eyes open…
Abhorrent company, terrible clinical staff, undertrained customer service staff. Avoid at ALL costs.

We want to be completely transparent about why our service and fees are structured this way, as our goal is never to mislead, but to provide safe, compliant medical care:
Titration & Appointment Frequency: ADHD medications are strictly controlled substances in the UK. Under clinical safety guidelines (such as NICE guidelines), any change in medication dosage must be medically monitored by a qualified clinician before a new prescription can be safely issued. During the titration phase, this can indeed require frequent check-ins to monitor your physical safety (heart rate, blood pressure, and side effects).
The £99 Membership Fee: This covers the ongoing clinical infrastructure, secure portal access, continuous support from our care team, and the administrative processing of your monthly regulated prescriptions.
Shared Care & Ongoing Monitoring: Even when a GP accepts a Shared Care Agreement (SCA), clinical guidelines require that an ADHD specialist retains overall clinical responsibility and conducts regular specialist reviews. The £169 review fee covers this mandatory specialist oversight—including the clinical audit of your physical metrics (blood pressure, weight, etc.) which you submit to us—to ensure it is safe for your GP to continue prescribing.
That being said, we deeply regret that you felt our clinical staff was disengaged and that our communication regarding these fees did not feel transparent or supportive. This is absolutely not the standard of care we aim to provide.

Extremely disappointing experience with…
Extremely disappointing experience with FastTreat. I paid approximately $300 for the initial assessment, only to have a call that lasted roughly 10 minutes. I was not diagnosed with ADHD, and immediately afterward I was also charged an additional $99 for a subscription.
During the call, I specifically asked the practitioner to provide a report documenting her findings. She told me she did not believe I had ADHD and recommended that I ask my family doctor for a psychiatrist referral for a possible bipolar assessment. Instead of receiving a proper report summarizing the consultation and her findings, I received a long message of generic notes that appeared largely copy-and-pasted.
For nearly $400, I expected a far more thorough, professional and transparent assessment process—particularly from a service dealing with mental health.
I have requested cancellation of the subscription and a refund of the $99 charge. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend FastTreat.

I had my first appointment with Fastreat ADHD about two months ago, and I’ve been really impressed with the whole experience. The process from booking to diagnosis was fast and painless, with everything handled online in a very straightforward way.

FasTreat was great...I needed help fast…
FasTreat was great...I needed help fast w/ my already diagnosed ADHD from another country that isn't recognised in the UK. From the start to being provided a doctor, everything was v efficient and not an overly complicated process either.
