Good communication, helpful approach

Hi all,
I didn’t think this company could be real at £199 for an ADHD diagnosis.
Got to be a scam I thought!
It kept showing up on my facebook & I saw reviews for the USA site.
FasTreat was advertising for the UK
I just had to find out & did a bit of research.
I entered my details & a £10 deposit was taken off my card,then within 48 hours of my very quick appointment I made the other £189 was taken.
I was text a link & received emails & reminders for the zoom video call.
Easy just clicked on the link in the text.
We spent the full 45 minutes on zoom & I was diagnosed by Mirabelle.
The next day I was sent a link for the medication doctor Daniel for a 15 minute zoom appointment.
Medication appointments cost £89 for each time you titrate on your meds.
Then the prescription was posted to the pharmacy by FasTreat.
This took a few days & I paid the pharmacy for the prescription & they sent me a link to fill in my details before proceeding.
I also had £99 taken for the monthly fee for FasTreat to process my prescription.
I was on my meds within days
It’s all medics who are qualified to give professional diagnosis with the UK quality commission.
I say absolutely fantastic!

Adding that after my original review, FasTreat reached out to me via email, trying to compensate me to change/remove my review: "We would truly value the opportunity to make this right. To express our apologies, we can offer you: A complimentary new assessment with a different provider for a second opinion, or a $100 refund as a gesture of goodwill. If you feel that your concerns have been addressed after we resolve this matter, we kindly ask that you consider updating or removing your review on Trustpilot."

They also said: "We also apologize for the confusion surrounding the ongoing care membership. It is never our intention for patients to feel enrolled without clarity or consent." When I asked them to point out where on their website it says that patients will be automatically enrolled, they didn't respond (but responded to other parts in my email).

This company deserves zero stars.

My assessment was not thorough. The NP only cared about my performance in school, which is not always an accurate indicator of ADHD, particularly with high-functioning, masking girls and women. I know multiple people with ADHD who also did well in school and have master's degrees. I left the meeting completely emotionally disregulated, feeling invalidated and not listened to (the NP had clearly made up her mind and was not open to discussing anything else).

Regarding your company, I think it's sleazy to automatically sign people up without consent for your "ongoing care membership" — there was nothing in my appointment confirmation email that indicated I was automatically signed up. Thankfully I proactively called the company right after my assessment to confirm I did not want the membership. I haven't been this disgusted with a company in a while.

This gave the clear impression that £199 was the main or primary upfront cost to get diagnosed and start treatment.
In practice, this £199 covers the initial assessment and possibly the first month of care, but it is followed by recurring monthly membership/ongoing care fees (around £99 per month, based on their advertised model). On top of that, if medication is prescribed (as is common for ADHD), you face additional private prescription and dispensing costs each month — often bringing the real ongoing expense to £250 or more per month overall.
These recurring and additional charges were not sufficiently emphasized or broken down transparently during the signup process, making the total cost structure feel hidden or downplayed. This lack of upfront clarity led to unexpected financial commitment beyond what was initially communicated.
While the platform offers fast access and GMC-registered doctors (which is a plus compared to NHS waits), the pricing model requires much greater transparency from the start — especially for patients already navigating the challenges of ADHD treatment costs.
I recommend FasTreat clearly disclose the full ongoing breakdown (initial fee + monthly membership + separate medication costs) right at the point of signup to avoid misleading expectations.
Would not recommend based on this experience unless you're fully aware of the recurring expenses.

How Our Pricing Works:
We have designed a simple three-step process to get you started:
Step 1: Initial Assessment (£199) This is a one-off fee (discounted from £499) for your comprehensive diagnostic interview with a GMC-registered medical doctor and your full medical report.
Step 2: Ongoing Care Membership (£99/month) If diagnosed, you will enroll in our monthly membership. This covers your clinical monitoring, 24/7 support, and portal access. Note: You must be an active member to access treatment.
Step 3: Medication Initiation (£89) Once you are a member, you will book this Member-Exclusive Follow-up. This is the specific video session where the clinician reviews your options and prescribes your first dose.

If you go through the full process to receive your first prescription, your total service cost in the first month would be:
£199 (Assessment) + £99 (Membership) + £89 (Drug Initiation Session) = £387

Ongoing Monthly Costs
After that first month, your costs drop to just the maintenance fee:
FasTreat Membership: £99 / month
Medication Cost: The cost of the medication itself is paid directly to the signature pharmacy. WHICH IS £150 A MONTH

Decent. But is a subscription model really necessary?

First off, I wish that two tier health wasn't being forced upon us, but underfunded the public health care system was letting my child down and I'm lucky to have the privilege to explore paid options for an ADHD diagnosis.

I reached out to fastreat about pediatric diagnosis and customer service got back to me right away, and has been excellent at guiding my family through the entire process of diagnosis and even apply for the disability tax credit!

I'm grateful for their support and efforts in the treatment of my child's ADHD and I would recommend them to anyone trying to quickly figure their child's struggles.

I always feel like they do a good job actually listening to what you're saying and what you need. That's hard to come by in my opinion.

My overall experience with FasTreat is AMAZING. What a service it provides to ADHD patients. The providers are excellent and especially Judith Mutie. I feel safe and great to be supported by FasTreat. I get my meds on time, I have access to my provider at my fingertips. The FasTreat is an ANGEL from Heaven for those of us suffering from ADHD and on meds. Thank you so much.
