This review is solely about, Unit 8 Main St, Cambuslang, Glasgow G72 7HB.

A number of occasions recently i have witnessed non-service dogs in the store. Dog on a lead, with the dog getting in the way. Dog in a Farmfoods trolley in the child seat, being pushed around. There have been many other incidents, with certain members of staff fawning over the dogs and even calling them "baby".

I have contacted customer services and been assured that this against Farmfoods policy. But it keeps happening in a store that sells food. They informed me the area manager would look into this and again assured me it would not happen again. It has, repeatedly.

Imagine getting a trolley to seat your child in, as its designed for, only to find dog mess in the seat!!!

I will add however the younger members of staff are great and are always a pleasure to be served by.

It would appear that certain members of staff tolerate the dogs and do not stop them coming into a food shop.

Everyday items ive brought over the last year has kept going up by £2,£3, £4
Now I go elsewhere because they are not good value anymore.

You have more chance of winning the lottery than expecting farmfoods to ever have their usual items in stock!!

MULTIPLE times I have travelled a fair few miles to 2 different stores, predominantly for two specific products. I would say the last 6 or 7 times, every one has been a wasted journey... and then there's yesterday, where they FINALLY had the stock in so I bought 6 boxes. The last 6 boxes to be exact. And every single one of them had been spoilt, either by their useless staff ramming them down into the bottom of the freezer, or having the freezers too cold, or most likely not storing them correctly beforehand as they had clearly melted at some stage and then were covered in ice, rendering each one of them solely suitable for the sink!

I have reached out to their customer services for a full refund but I highly doubt that will result in anything as they clearly do not know how to care for their products, how on earth could one expect them to be able to care for their customers. The outcome of this will determine if I ever shop there again or if I have to take it upon myself to make sure that everyone I encounter is informed of how they steal from their customers!!

Never been nor would I! Tell the people whoever deliver your leaflets that when it says don’t put them through a door that say don’t or says no leaflet etc not to do it because out of principle I would never use you ever!!!

I went into the Corby store on Tuesday, but what i usually buy was not in stock. Asked the young man on the till was there any stock in the storeroom. There wasn't. He called the manger to help, and she did. She said she would place an order, and for me to telephone the store on Wednesday. I did call, and the items were there. I went into store, and immediately the young man recognised me and went to collect the items. Its been a long time since I have experienced such helpfullness and kindness. The staff at this store are brillant. A big thank you.

Keep getting emails about promotions but when I go to the shops , there are 2 near me , they never have them . I go early in the morning so I doubt they’ll have sold out rather they don’t have any in the first place . Why advertise a product if you don’t have it .

Budget-focused frozen food chains like Farmfoods Ltd primarily stock highly processed, pre-packaged convenience items. Because these products are manufactured for a low price point and a long shelf-life, they frequently contain rubbish like palm oils and all sorts
Please stop sending money in farmfoods its not worth your health and your family's health

JUST WANTED SOME PROTEIN CHOCOLATE MILK AFTER THE GYM AND IT WAS EXPIRED EVEN WHEN THE PACKAGING SAID IT EXPIRES IN MARCH 2027 GODAMIT THIS IS WHY THEY SHOULD PUT IT IN THE FRIDGES INSTEAD OF BEING LAZY AND LEAVING IT ON THE SHELVES

Today, 04/09/2026.
I went into the store at Erdington today. It was like a breath of freshair.
All the store looked clean and tidy. Shelves were all full and presented well.
No staff with pallets being pulled all around the store. So much easier to access the shopping isles.
While looking in the multi pack of pops a gentleman approached me asking if i was looking for something in particular.
After a brief conversation, he helped me get the packs from the shelves for me.
He introduced himself as the store manager. He must be new to that store as the manager there last time was female. This gentleman (Richard) i asked his name, is man with drive and ambition. He will be great as his job. I can say this with confidence.
He is a total credit to the company.
I will look forward to going in store for my next stop. To have a good work team you have to have a great leader. This Gentleman is perfect.
So thank you for your cooperation and help, much appreciated.

Newton Heath Manchester a couple of times a week and feel I just have to say the staff at this store are all amazing very helpful and friendly the manager is very helpful too and runs an excellent team

We went into Bedford Farm Foods today as we were visiting family.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Lisa, was exceptional. She assisted and advised us and even offered to save some items for us, which we collected later!
Thank you to the staff but a special shout out to Lisa! 👏🏽

When we first moved to Accrington the Farmfoods store was very good but now it's rubbish you get the brochure through the door see what they have in store but whenever you go none of the offers they advertise are in, you ask an assistant and she said you've changed surpplier thats why some offers aren't in. The plain chicken skewers haven't been in for months every other flavour but not plain, also ariel washing tablets don't have them all they say is try another day. If you've changed surpplier then don't print the brochure with offers you never have thats false advertising or go back to the old surpplier.

Foul smelling milk purchased Tuesday 25th August Boston store all three bottles where sour dated use by 1st Sept looks like its been left out fridge in the store its usually good

In January2026 I had a seizure outside the front door at the Oldbury store in West Midlands. A male member of staff helped me. A few weeks later I went back to do a shop and thanked the employee who helped me. I left the store and noticed a female member of staff waited in the car park for me and came towards me very aggressively and screamed, shouted and swore so loud in my face. She threatened me and told me I was not allowed to come back or watch. Extremely disgusting behaviour. I was with my 9year old daughter and it’s visible I am ill. I was venerable and to be screamed and threatened so aggressively was awful. I haven’t been in for a while but it’s august now and I saw her working again. She was smirking and very shocking farmfoods have allowed her to continue to employee her considering the seriousness of this girls behaviour.

I just wanted to recognise the excellent customer service I received from Farmfoods in relation to a product fault. From my initial contact, everyone I dealt with was helpful, responsive and genuinely interested in resolving the issue. They investigated it properly and came back with a very fair resolution.
In an age where customer service can sometimes be disappointing, Farmfoods really stood out. Very impressed and happy to recommend them.

Farmfoods is a good store but if Gravesend is anything to go by then it desperately needs to give staff training on customer relations. One almost took my head off oprning a freezer but on acknowledgement never mind a wuick 'sorry'. Many those manning the tills have no interaction with customers. Comfort on the tills ignores customers. If I owned the stores I would take a long look at my staff.

the robin park branch in wigan staff are amazing. they are all so friendly and helpful. the manager is the happiest guy ive ever seen. always get a big loud 'morning'
prices are great and always stocked, theyll order you anything you need.
its strange because the farmfoods a mile away from robin park is poor.

The Staff at the Chadderton Store do need to look at how they treat their customers. I went in for some items at the weekend and was told they had warehousing issues. Yet despite asking about products they did have the Manager DOM barking the same line about warehousing issues. So I reported it to the head of operations by email and got a £10 food voucher.

Visited The Chadderton branch in oldham,the freezers were practially bare and my partner asked a member of staff about this and he just warehouse issue in a very rude manner,told us he didnt care and continued to glare at us until we left,Turns out he was a manager called Dom,I also work within customer service but you don't give customers attitude and act in a aggressive manner..its just childish...dont go there unless you want to be in our situation.Very poor Customer service indeed.
