My uncle and auntie moved To Stoke Gifford before Xmas and the support they have received since has been nothing short of amazing. THEY ARE THRIVING. The lady who dealt with them during there move was brilliant and couldn't of been more helpful. I am very happy to see them both so content.

It's now six months since my wife's parents moved into Solihull Village, so enough time has passed to allow us to form meaningful opinions about their experiences and also ours.
Dad is 96 and Mum is 91, so the task of moving in itself was daunting for everyone.
Thankfully, Extracare handled the apartment purchase really well from first viewing to completion.
Mum and Dad were made welcome in every respect from day one and that's been consistent from everyone who supports them in the Village.
Staff are extremely friendly, caring, interested in them and genuinely focused on making life easier for them, and us.
The facilities in the Village are exactly as first described to us. The Bistro has been a Godsend and it's been easy for them to settle in.
Along the way, there's been a few medical problems for both of them and the on site support team have helped quickly and professionally.
It was a massive move for an elderly couple in not great health, but the Extracare team along with the residents generally made such a positive difference, we can't thank them enough.
If you or someone you know is considering buying an apartment in the Village, as a family, we certainly recommend visiting it for a look around. We're delighted we took the first step last year.

It really is delightful living here amongst friendly like minded folk
You get a feeling of security and SAFTY
And we feel very lucky to be spending our retirement here
Our beautiful luxurious Apartment is so well designed and so much thoughtful has been taken with every aspect of the needs of the elderly taken into consideration
We have a full programme of events and a huge magnificent roof garden with conservatory
With us both nearing our 90’s we know we have ‘in house’ care services ready - as and when needed
I just wish this model could be more widely used so more people wouldn’t fear the thought of ending up in a ‘home’

I moved into Earlsdon Park Village 4.5 years ago and I can honestly say it's the best thing I have ever done. I have also won an award for my efforts in volunteering. Working in the Bistro and looking after the gardens has really enhanced my life. All the staff here have been kind and supportive, I feel very valued and appreciated. I would highly recommend Earlsdon Park Village.

I have found Amanda the wellbeing advisor extremely helpful, empathetic and very professional. She has an excellent relationship with everyone at the village who finds her caring, a good listener and very helpful. She is excellent at her job and this is from past experience and feedback from the residents. I have had previous experience within education of analysing and report writing of individual people.

My Mother who will be 90 in a couple of weeks was struggling with the loneliness of living alone. We were told about Solihull Village 6 months ago by a friend and went to see for ourselves what it was like.

As soon as my mother visited the place she wanted to move in, she reserved an apartment and has subsequently moved in a couple of weeks ago.

All that I can say is that she is super happy that she made the move, everyone there staff included are very friendly and welcoming. Her sister in law who went to see her has also put a deposit down on an apartment and also cant wait to get there.

If you are at all unsure about what to expect I would advise to go and have a cup of coffee in the Bistro and chat to the residents that live there.

We all know how people like to complain as we get older, but I have only seen happy faces there.

I moved into EPV the second week after it opened.lt has a variety of activities for the residents.l have a one bedroom apartment which is spacious with a fitted kitchen,walk in shower,large, lounge and bedroom.The village is walking distance from the town centre.Myself l enjoy. the shows in the Bistro and Village Hall BRILLIANT.

What can I say about Earlsdon Park Village (Epv). Myself and my partner have now been living here for just over two and we both still feel lucky to be part of Epv from its social element to its community spirit. The other residents and staff are all great and made us feel at home instantly

The village reminds me of times when my grand parents used to tell me about how streets came together and united as one for everyone’s benefit and well-being.

There are social nights that bring us great entertainment to general gatherings where you can chat, feel relaxed and have a laugh to various events to participate in if you want too.

Before we came here we did not realise it but we were in a rut. And since moving in we have never looked back. Our whole family agree it was the best move for us and we are looking forward to many years to come and this is coming from a sceptic who happily admits he was wrong (that’s me) about communities like this

I have lived at EPV for three and a half years and, am very happy here.
I recently had reason to test the Emergency system when I had a partial power failure latte at night. My call was answered immediately and a very kind lady visited my apartment where she managed to restore my supply. Thanks to her my fridge and freezer contents were saved.

Safety and security have proven to be one of the top benefits of living here in Earlsdon Park Retirement Village. Everything you may need will be available, and if it is not, you don't need it.

We have lived at EPV for 4 years now. Our biggest regret is not moving in sooner.

Having moved into Earlsdon Park, my parents are very happy, they have settled in and made lots of new friends and increased their social activities.
The apartment is lovely, bright and spacious and very well insulated so you do not feel the cold at all.
The facilities are excellent and well maintianed
The staff are very friendly and responsive.
It has made day to day life for them very easy and they are enjoying the extra time that they have on their hands.
I would not hesitat to recommend Extracare to anyone

The wonderful people who live here and the friendship of the residents make Earlsdon Park Village the place to live. There are groups to join ,too many to mention. There ate volunteer groups for almost everything. The safety of the residents in every situation.
We are a stones throw from the city, a short walk to a lovely shopping centre at Central Six. Bus stops are also very local. Shopping deliveries.
We have on site Care Team, Housing Team, Bistro and Bar, Snooker and Darts room and our very own Gym, Hairdresser Beauty Room and not forgetting our shop. We also have some fantastic shows that are held in our Village Hall.
I personally would not want to live anywhere other than here.

It's an amazing place. The design, facilities, the range of activities and groups, some led by residents, all contribute to it being a perfect place to live – offering security and safety, activities to keep the mind active and the spirits high, but also as much peace and quiet as anyone could ask for.

I've only lived in Solihull Village a short while but I have no regrets despite experiencing a few hiccups along the way. I use most of the facilities, hairdressers, beauty room, library all without having to venture out into the elements, but above all, I feel warm and safe.

I feel so safe & secure here. Apartments are so lovely & spacious. All staff are very friendly . If you want to meet new people you can , if not you can keep yourself to yourself . The choice is yours. There are always activities going on on. Would definitely recommend living here , love it.

We moved to Earlsdon Park Village in September 2024 and haven't regretted this move at all. We are both in our 80's and we probably should have moved earlier as we found the moves out and in to be stressful and tiring physically. However, now we are settled we are finding EPV an excellent place to live. We have our own 2-bed apartment which is lovely - light and spacious with all the Village amenities on hand should we require them. Actually buying the apartment was made easy by our Sales Consultant and the financial adviser and thanks to shared ownership, far more affordable than we thought it would be.

We are future proofing our lives and enjoying all the facilities and new friendships along the way. Highly recommend a move to Earlsdon Park Village.

While attending to my clients the sales lady came in with food from the Bistro for them. Both were extremely poorly, which was without doubt exacerbated by the way in which they were bullied with regard to their moving date ie were told that if they did not move within 2 days (2 days, an elderly couple with severe impairments) they would lose their flat (see my other review). After she left she then made a telephone call to a family member, advising them that I was there, without their consent which is a serious breach of confidentiality and trust. Her actions have caused serious stress to my clients and they are now very isolated. Family dynamics are complex but I had known the couple for 15 years and had been working for them for about 4 years. In the whole time I've known them family have done little to nothing to help them, and frankly their family members are complete bullies ... the way they speak to their parents is disgraceful ... telling them what they can and can't do, but are not their to help themselves, an overall very sad situation as they approach the last weeks/months/years of their lives. Definitely avoid this place if you can ... like many others have said there is no "care" in this organisation ... I will be further reporting as the staff are causing safeguarding issues!

My mum and Dad moved into Solihull Village when they had to move out of their own home. It was the perfect place for them. Still had their independence but when they began to need more help it was available and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. To have so many activities on site along with the social aspect was great for them.
Another huge benefit was when my dad passed away and mum had to go into a care home. The fact that Extra Care would buy back their apartment was a massive advantage to us as a family. If we’d had to go through estate agents etc to try and sell it would have been very stressful and costly.
We can’t recommend Extra Care enough- we may be using them again one day when we get to that stage! 😊
