Namaskar : I am a long time customer who has been buying from exotic india since its very beginning.
So far all my transactions were relatively fine until recently for the yoga day and Janamastami 20% discount sales which they were offering.
I find this group do not follow instructions at times eg. when I ask to send by FedEx- they send by DHL express. When I tell not to send by india post to Guyana, they still send. They take initiatives which can be frustrating and confusing . For example I bought a " CELIBACY" book from them along with a few others on Yoga day sales. I do not know what they have against celibacy but this book was posted by india post against my wish and the other books by dhl.
Again for the Janamashtami Sales , they offered a 20 % discount but somehow along the line , complications to send by FedEx and DHL popped up and they decided to send everything by India Post again. Until today , since the yoga day sale , I have not received the celibacy book. Albeit the frustration and long waiting for the book , almost 2 months now....I have asked that a new one be sent as replacement for the one which did not arrive via INDIA. POST. No answer despite sending what app. Messages and emails. The only reply came when they posted the Janamashtami order (EXO 1848065) via INDIA POST again.i had to send a strong email requesting a refund because I advised against INDIA POST . They did not consult with me before doing so. Finally they agreed to post the books via FEDEX / DHL to an American address...since it seems better than posting directly to British Guyana. I told them to go ahead
Almost one week has passed and no update has been received as to the status of the books. No tracking nor purchase records showing up on my exotic India profile either.I asked them more than once to post my invoice and purchase orders on my exotic India account. But no replies came.
I find that this has displayed a fall from grace over the years of standard service. Their org. has probably grown in success due to supporters like myself. But when sellers do not value their customers it somehow reflects low grade work and unprofessionalism.
Hopefully a LEAGUE of PROFESSIONAL SELLERS can tackle this...in interest of customers who have helped but now are being undermined.

Exotic India has a great collection of books. The books arrive with great packaging and care. Rithvik is always available to answer questions and accomodates customers requests with care. Even if they do not have the book, Rithvik and team go above and beyond to find and dispatch the book to the customer. Highly recommend ordering books from Exotic India.

I never received my order. I am texting customer service everyday for my order but no response.

23rd July, 2024 - Order No. EXO-1798762 was placed for a book on exoticindiaart.com by paying Rs.425 online. Been 24 days after that and they are just non-contactable. Such perpetrators should be traced and penalised for such fraudulent activities under cyber-crime laws.
