Don’t ever shop anything from Exotic India.

They take ages to ship the product, and in my case they haven’t shipped the product at all in 2 weeks. it’s seems like the customer service is there for formality only. You’ll not get any replies from them

Absolutely worst experience.

not a good customer support. amount debited and credited into their pocket. but no order created. what is going on very mysterious.

Absolutely the worst buying experience I’ve ever had. I placed my order for a book on April 2nd, and till today it has still not been delivered. Every single time I reached out, all I received were fake, performative apologies and scripted responses like “our customer support team will contact you within a couple of hours.”

Those “couple of hours” apparently mean 48+ hours — or never.

No accountability, no proper updates, no resolution — just endless copy-paste apologies that mean absolutely nothing when there’s zero action behind them. Customers are expected to patiently wait while the company keeps recycling the same empty promises.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay away. A platform that cannot deliver a single book in months and still continues giving robotic excuses instead of solutions does not deserve customer trust.

A pleasant surprise! I ordered a statue a couple of months ago and at first I was upset that my order not only was taking a long time, but also I received notice that the item I chose was no longer available. But after that I was offered a replacement statue for the same amount of money I paid, even if the value of that replacement, on the site, was 3 times bigger than that. The statue is gorgeous! I finally received it and I simply love it! Not to mention it arrived in an amazingly well protected package. Thank you!

I recently ordered a book from Exotic India and I received it today. I am truly impressed with the overall experience. The packaging was excellent, and the book arrived in perfect condition without any damage.

Its Says they take 25 days to ship. its 29 days now, no confirmation email, no notice. had to message them on whatsap then they told me there is a delay. now they are ignoring my messages. i have spent almost £1000 on 2 items. This is poor custumer service. After my items arrive. I do not feel like ordering anything from this site again.

Exotic India is truthful and reliable company.You will get exactly the same what they advertise on their website.The order is securely parceled.I recommend Exotic India to anybody who is looking forward to deal with them.

I’ve had a truly wonderful experience with Exotic India. The statues are not only beautifully crafted but also carry a special presence and spiritual feel. Each piece is detailed and feels even more meaningful in person. Their customer service is kind and supportive, with regular updates and smooth, timely delivery. Took a little long to receive my product (a little over a month) but once I received it I was really happy. Had a Mysore wood inlay portrait made of The Last Supper, and it was beautiful. Felt like a good quality piece of work, so really appreciate the artisans. Appreciated the responsiveness of the customer support (had a little trouble reaching the agent on the phone but eventually got a hold of them + more responses via email).

Ordered 2 books. I live in South Africa. Shipping method was changed from courier to India Post. Till date, I await delivery of package. This company is not serious about customer satisfaction. I regret my purchase. Their representative is as useless. It is the suppliers responsibility to ensure that the product reaches the customer! Shocking service. Be warned!

I cannot recommend at all!

I was a customer for many years and in the past service and quality was good, but that changed.

They did not dispatch one painting and said they had to give it for repair. I wanted the money back and had to chase for 15 days, they did not even return the full amount! 50 CHF missing.

They showed me the painting after ‚repair‘ and it was completely different. Even after I showed them the differences in the two paintings (the necklace we’re looking totally different) they insist it is the same.

It’s not genuine business practise and service is no good.

I will not order anything in future. It’s sad how such great place completely changed.

I ordered a book from Exotic India . I didn’t expect this much poor service from them I paid full amount with delivery charges even after 13 days they didn’t shipped. even the day they announced to deliver, they didn’t even shipped !!! No idea they will send me the book or not. In this modern age this is never acceptable 😡

The Order is not exactly as shown, please be ware of ordering as return process is very bad and you have to end up paying of return even though the product is damaged broken not exactly as mentioned. You have to get frustrated to the core and end up loosing more and more money but they will never return.

Recently I bought Ganesha wood statue from exotic india. Upon delivery I found the statue was cracked on top and it was packed before the painting was completely dry. I messaged the customer care team two weeks back. Still no action taken. Quality checking by the seller found very poor before they deliver the item to customers. Especially during festival season or year end sales.

I bought a rare book from this shop, the customer service and support was incredible. I highly recommend this shop I will definately be back.

My work is waiting for books

I've been a customer for 20 years, and the service and products have been excellent. Recently I bought a shawl.. one of many I've purchased over the years. It was not the fabric they advertised (wool), nor the weave. I've contacted them in several ways and received no response. In the past I've found this company to be really efficient and friendly but it seems things have changed. I won't be buying from Exotic India again.
