Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I purchased a LP on February 5th in presale, which was supposed to be released on March 27th.
On March 27th, I received confirmation that my order had been shipped, along with a tracking code to monitor the shipment.
Today, April 28th, no one can tell me where my package is or how long it will take to deliver.
SCANDALOUS

Broken CD, but amazing support! - Please add DPD as a postal service.

Ordered an Alex Warren Fever Dream CD - it arrived broken. (thanks, Royal Mail 😒)

Contacted the customer service team for the Alex Warren store, took them a while to get back to me (because the CD had just released, they were really busy)
but once they got back to me, they issued a replacement instantly and told me I didn't have to send the old one back, which saved me a trip to the post office, which is a bonus since the post offices in my area suck. So customer service was great!

Delivery and shipping for the initial order was QUICK. They literally shipped it a day before the release date that was in the email - so I got it right on release day. I expected to get it atleast a day or two after so I was surprised when I was told by Royal Mail they were delivering it on release day.

If there is ONE thing I would change - is to use a service like DPD for postage with the UK / Europe store. Why?

Royal Mail isn't safe for stuff like albums and vinyls. Royal Mail rough-handles parcels (speaking from experience with RM), where as DPD handles a lot of EE parcels and other electronics that seem to almost never arrive broken or damaged - so changing to DPD would minimise the amount of returns, refunds or replacements the store would have to issue for damaged items and customers would be happier as they won't have any damaged items arrive.

I'm not saying to get rid of Royal Mail as an option - because some people do genuinely like using Royal Mail 🤷‍♀️ just add DPD as a secondary option for the ones who don't like / don't trust Royal Mail.

Waiting was toooooo long, delivery was messy and order unable to trace. Stars go to the team who always replied on time and very efficient on that matter

Faulty Goods, Unresponsive, Scammers

Purchased 3 items from the UK Rhino store in their recent sale. This store is owned and run by Warner Music Online Stores.

All 3 items are faulty, and looking into other reviews these appear to be from a bad batch as many others have issues.

I contacted WM to resolve this and return the items to get a refund. So far I have been totally ignored. The 5 star reviews below about responsiveness and helpfulness are clearly fake.

AVOID Rhino, AVOID any Warner Music Online Store.

I will be initiating a chargeback with my bank to try and reclaim my money.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I purchased a CD and T-shirt bundle on February 14th in presale, which was supposed to be released on March 27th.
On March 27th, I received confirmation that my order had been shipped, along with a tracking code to monitor the shipment.
Today, April 14th, the tracking is still stuck on April 8th, and no one can tell me where my package is or how long it will take to deliver.

Very poor customer service.

I recently attempted to pre-order a copy of the new edition of the Pet Shop Boys book Volume through the Warner Music Online Store as a birthday gift for my wife. Unfortunately, I encountered ongoing technical issues with the website which meant I was unable to complete my order.

The site did not work at all on my iPad and repeatedly crashed on my Android phone and on Google Chrome on my desktop PC whenever I tried to make payment. I also tried alternative browsers on my PC, which made no difference, suggesting the issue was with the website itself rather than my devices.

When I contacted customer support via email, responses were slow and frankly unhelpful. Rather than assist me in completing my purchase, I was given generic suggestions such as trying a different browser or clearing my cache. At one point I was even advised to use Google Chrome, despite already explaining that I had tried this browser without success.

I also attempted to call the customer service number, but could only reach an answering service and was required to leave a message. There was no option to speak to anyone directly or to place an order over the phone. I did leave a message, but no one has returned my call.

Despite being reassured that there was sufficient stock to fulfil my order, I have now been informed that the book is out of stock and no longer available to purchase. Had I been properly supported at the time, rather than being given generic responses, I would likely have secured a copy.

The final response I received was a standard message stating that stock availability could not be confirmed and that I should check the website periodically. This came across as a generic, copy-and-paste reply rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue.

To make matters worse, when I raised my dissatisfaction, I was offered a 15% discount on a future order. This does not help me obtain the item I originally wanted, and given the restrictions attached to the discount code, it is of little practical use to me.

Overall, I feel that customer service showed very little interest in resolving my issue, and my attempts to raise a complaint were not properly addressed. The entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

I placed an order on February 21 from the PinkPantheress Shop, and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. The tracking has been stuck on “Departed international distribution centre” for over 28 days with no updates at all. This is extremely frustrating, especially considering there has been no clear communication or reassurance about the status of the package.

I understand that international shipping can take time, but a lack of updates for this long is unacceptable. As a customer, I expected better transparency and support. I hope the store improves its shipping communication and customer service, as this experience has not been reliable so far.

Useless customer support

After a few days of not being able to get my order to finalize I decided to contact customer support, they just gave me a list of things to try while I had already mentioned trying all of those things.

What ended up fixing it was switching browser from firefox to chrome and that made the site work, so I contacted them again to let them know that there might be an issue with the store in some browsers. They respond with the most generic "sorry for your troubles" bla bla bla, nothing in there had ANY relevance to the mail I sent. It's like complaining to a waiter that there's a fly in your soup and they respond with "sorry, we do not serve gluten free bread"

AMAZING!!

I had a great experience with Warner Music Store customer support. My order arrived with the wrong item, but Heather from the support team responded quickly and arranged a replacement shipment right away.

Absolutely brilliant customer service-…

Absolutely brilliant customer service- fast, efficient, understood what the problem was, sorted it and with great and frequent communication throughout the process. Can't be faulted.
