What a disgraceful company this is. I haven't been able to play on my account for some time now.

After contacting support several times, my account is still blocked from playing. They say I have to buy everything again, completely restart. This is truly outrageous. Nothing was done wrong, nor can or will they provide any details. So I know nothing... I can't defend myself or discuss it, because I don't know why. It's just a rip-off to make more money. I am really not happy with this. I used to play a lot, invested a lot of time and built everything up. I had bought everything physically in the past, so I have lost a lot because I can no longer play on my account. For several years now, this company and their support and treatment seem to be far below what they should be. This is really very disappointing.

Is Blizzard becoming a tool for fraudsters?

Want to share something interesting. On February 23rd, two charges of 25,299 KZT each appeared on my card from Battle.net. I haven't touched your platform since 2022, never linked my card, and I have 3D Secure on my Visa - meaning NOTHING should go through without an OTP. Surprise - no OTP, but money is gone. Twice.
I opened a support ticket over 24 hours ago. Radio silence. Great customer service 👏
So let me get this straight - your platform somehow processes payments from cards that were never linked, bypasses 3D Secure verification, and your support can't be bothered to respond? That's not a bug, that's a disaster.
I'm already in contact with my bank, Visa International, and financial regulators in Kazakhstan. I'm also making sure as many people as possible know about this vulnerability so they can protect themselves.
A full refund of 50,598 KZT and an actual explanation would be a great start.

Extrèmement déçu, Blizzard se fou royalement de ses consommateur, nous sommes traité comme des vaches à lait.
Je n'ai plus accès à mon compte, un abonnement en cours que je paye et je ne peux plus me connecter à cause de cet authenticator ...
Je crois que les équipes support sont beaucoup trop sous staffé car le délai de réponse actuellement est beaucoup trop long pour un compte bloqué, ça fait 2 jours que je suis dans l'attente. Je finirai par bouger sur un serveur privé si ça continue...

I’ve been playing Blizzard games for years, but my recent experience with Battle.net’s store and refund policies was one of the most frustrating I’ve ever had on any gaming platform.

During the Black Friday sale, I bought the Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred Deluxe Edition for 20.99 €, while the Ultimate Edition cost 31.49 €. A simple and fair upgrade should’ve cost around the difference — roughly 10.5 €.

But once I purchased Deluxe, Battle.net suddenly wanted 30 € for the upgrade to Ultimate. That means paying 21 € + 30 € = 51 € for something that was 31.49 € during the sale. No other modern platform does this.

Even worse:

Battle.net does not offer refunds for DLC at all, even minutes after purchase.

They do not adjust upgrade prices based on the sale you bought during.

Support confirmed they can’t help, even though they admitted they wish they could.

If you buy the “wrong” edition during a sale, you are locked out of upgrading at a reasonable price.

On Steam, GOG, Epic, and even free-to-play games like Path of Exile, upgrade pricing always reflects what you already paid. You never lose money. Battle.net is the complete opposite — and it feels extremely consumer-unfriendly.

This system punishes players for buying during sales and creates a terrible experience.
I strongly recommend buying Blizzard games on Steam instead of Battle.net. Their refund system, upgrade pricing, and customer protection are miles ahead.

This was the first and last time I’ll ever buy DLC through Battle.net.

Super décevant

Super, je réinstalle un jeux je lance une game, des cheaters présent sur ma game et c'est moi qui me fais ban non mais au top les gestionnaires de serveurs! je me demandais si j'allais reprendre des jeux sur la plateforme mais au que non! fuyez moi ça ils sont incapable de gérer! moi perso je désinstalle et je supprime directe! Heureusement quez j'ai pas racheté de jeux!

EVENTUALLY IT WORKS BUT OF COURSE AS ALWAYS WITH THIS FREAKIN COMPANY IT NEEDS AN SMS VERIFICATION AND WHEN I TYPE MY PHONE NUMBER IT GIVES ME AN ERROR MESSAGE. I JUST WANT TO PLAY A GODDAMN GAME. BANKS DON'T REQUIRE THIS MUCH VERIFICATION! I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD. NEVER SUPPORT THIS. I HOPE THIS WASTE OF SPACE GOES BANKRUPT

World of Warcraft has become a…Blizzard/Microsoft: hypocrisy and neglect

World of Warcraft has become a playground for Horde dominance and unchecked cheating. Alliance players are constantly overrun, and fair fights barely exist. Addons, wintrading, boosting — Blizzard and now Microsoft look the other way as long as the money flows.

By forcing EU players into battlegroups with Russian servers, Blizzard is actively creating resentment and division. It’s sold as “just matchmaking,” but everyone can see what’s really going on.

Microsoft claims Europe should “stand on its own feet,” while at the same time buying everything up. And the EU? They sign off on it without any real understanding.

This may sound extreme for a game review, but read between the lines of Blizzard’s terms and clauses: it’s all there. Players who want to play fair are ignored, while hypocrisy at the top is rewarded.

Impossible to play

I tried to reconnect with my ~20-year-old Battle.net account, only to find out it had somehow been set to the Taiwan region. When I tried to change it, Blizzard asked for impossible details — like the exact date I created my WoW character decades ago. Of course, I had no idea.

So I decided to just make a new account with a different email. But after 30 minutes of failing to get through their CAPTCHA system (which is beyond frustrating), I gave up.

Eventually, I managed to register through my mobile device. But even then, the verification link kept returning:
"We couldn't verify your account with that information."

Honestly… I’ve never seen a company make it this hard to simply create an account. It feels like Blizzard is actively trying to push customers away.

Useless piece of garbage

Useless piece of garbage. Literally stopped me from playing any blizzard game. Sorry boys love your products, but I won’t put up with battle.net. Just stopped me from buying Warcraft 3 remaster and probably everything else in the future. Someone needs to stop this plugin madness.

You just get automated responses 90% of the time. They never actually fix the issues.

My account got incorrectly banned and they have just never bothered to review it correctly so I've lost 20 years of progress.

Useless company seriously going down hill. They do not care about their customers.

L'incompétence à l'état brut.

Impossible d'installer battle net sur mon pc depuis plus de 2 ans (bloqué à 50% de l'installation). Je précise que j'avais acheté TOUS les jeux Blizzard depuis Diablo 1 jusqu'à Ow1 en passant par les warcraft starcraft et toutes les extensions. J'ai donc abandonné car le SAV est inutile et incompétent. Je joue désormais sur Steam.
Bnet est donc mort et enterré pour moi et c'est en cours pour les joueurs restant.

Account wieder gesperrt, nachdem ich den Code eingegeben habe, um mich einzuloggen.
Es ist nicht das erste Mal und es ist sehr nervig, den Account über den Support wieder freischalten zu lassen.
Der Support möchte folgende Informationen von mir:
Any authenticator serial number (current or previous):
Any physical game keys/codes attached to the account:
Transaction ID from a purchase (found on your bank/financial statement, for PayPal, in your PayPal payment details):
Previous BattleTags associated with the account:
Previous physical addresses associated with the account:
Previous phone numbers associated with the account:
Phone number associated with the account
The answer to the account’s secret question (EnterSecretQuestionHere”):

The creation date of any associated WoW accounts (approximate date in MM/YYYY format) (try to remember which expansion you started playing on, this can help):
The oldest WoW character’s creation date (approximate date in MM/YYYY format) (thinking about the first class or race you chose when entering Azeroth can help):
For any character services on the account (i.e. character transfer/faction change/race change), list the characters’ previous faction/name/race (make sure to provide the information of the character had before and after the service):
Recent purchases made with gold on the account (provide the character’s name and realm as well) (only purchases you made in-game):

Abgesehen davon, dass einige davon unnötig bzw. nicht herauszufinden sind, wie z.B. Authenticator App, die bereits im Januar 2024 eingestellt wurde, ist das Auslesen einer Seriennummer nicht möglich. Außerdem habe ich jetzt für alle Nachweise ca. 50 Minuten gebraucht, das kann nicht sein, nur ich benutze die Email und die Handynummer, schickt mir einfach zwei verschiedene Codes die ich angeben muss?

Ein echter Saftladen, wäre eine andere Geschichte wenn ich wenigstens viel Geld auf dem Account gelassen hätte, was aber nicht der Fall ist, ich habe wenn überhaupt 6 Spiele auf Battle.net und jedes Mal wenn ich mich einloggen will muss ich einen Code eingeben -> dann werde ich per SMS gesperrt. Das macht keinen Sinn. Deshalb nur ein Stern, ich habe mehr Zeit mit dem Support verbracht als mit Spielen auf eurer Plattform!

Fazit: Der erste Supportmitarbeiter war ein Witz, er hat nur vorgefertigte Texte aus dem Leitfaden kopiert, aber die anderen Mitarbeiter, die sich um meinen Fall gekümmert haben, waren kompetent und haben das Problem schnell erkannt, trotzdem bleibe ich bei einem Stern, denn wie gesagt, es wird nicht das erste und auch nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein...

Impossible de valider mon numéro de…

Impossible de valider mon numéro de téléphone car je ne reçois pas le sms.
Impossible également de créer un ticket afin de signaler et résoudre le problème.
Donc impossible de jouer à cod.
Bref rien ne fonctionne et d'après les forums ce problème existe depuis des années !

Awful support and the worst captcha ever

Awful support and the worst captcha ever.

Wanted to change the country of the account (which I haven't been using actively but now wanted to start using) and didn't manage after 10-20 min of trying

Then decided to make a new account and faced the horrible captchas - finished 9/10 the first time and had to do again, then did 10/10 but registration broke (bug?) Having wasted 10 min or smth on these captchas, I didn't want to do it again, so I guess Blizzard is not getting my money

AUCUNE AIDE DE LA PART DE BATTLE.NET!!!

J’ai acheté black ops 4 sur ce site.Après avoir installé le jeu et avoir été débité je remarque que le jeu ne se lance pas et reste bloqué sur connexion au service en ligne et impossible de trouver de l’aide avec des numéros pas attribué et refuse ma demande de remboursement car j’ai jouer au jeu plus de 2 heures sans avoir lancé une seule partie et incapable de vous trouvez une solution.
