Purchased this software through recommendations and previous reviews online.....without seeing a demonstration one always has to be mindful that things may not work out as planned. Surprise, this is a Cinderella fit..... Meaning simple, if the shoe fits....well everyone knows the rest of the story. Seriously, EstateExec is very informative and thorough. Of course with any program or tools of trade, my suggestion has always been..."read the instructions". This program comes with exceptional tutorials to help guide anyone through the process of setting up the estate preliminaries, and then following through with the process of tracking expenses to determining the percentages of distributions to heirs or beneficiaries. We are a general accounting and management solutions firm with a worldwide client base. We are called upon at times to plan out the Estate of individuals at the request from the Executors or Administrators of Estates. We have in the past used our own developed in house accounting procedures and applications to do this. Since using EstateExec, we have now changed our protocol's to use this program instead. It is not very often you can find a five star application that covers all the bases, EstateExec does just that. As mentioned it is simple to use and tracks all expenses, assets, debits etc. and balances out the financials perfectly. This is a no brainer of an application. Very modestly price, however, a trusted value at any price. It saves money, time, needless in house expenses. It is far from being a labor intensive application, even for the first time user. During times of Estate tracking and probate filings, this application relieves the stress in preparing those financials required by probate courts. Prepare those required reports with the report generator, and in various formats. If you want that Cinderella fit, and at the end of day, knowing you have a perfect match, EstateExec is the answer. I have been using EstateExec for 6 months now, and just getting to probate process in Nevada. The site is great in maintaining all the records and activities that I expect will be needed to future validation with the probate court. All times spent on estate, expenses incurred, asset and debts of estate, and heirs and asset distribution processes. Whenever I have activities involved with managing the state, I go to EstateExec to document the activity and and expenses incurred.

I was blindsided by my father's death. I was the executor but had no idea where to start. This software was able to help me get my tasks lined up and start sorting the details in a timely and orderly manner. Appreciate the attention to detail and the docs for all of the explanations.

Totally worth every penny. I was up to date, slighly informed but technically lost in the weeds of estate reporting and as how to compile all of the details and information and my attorney did not advise what's next until it was next; however, once I found EstateExec the picture changed with me feeling more comfortable with what was next and a better understanding of managing the estate. This software has been fantastic. I was overwhelmed with all my responsibilities as executor of my mother-in-laws estate. I did hire an attorney to get probate started but there was so much details that I had little knowledge of. The software was able to simplify the process with task lists that were easy to check off. Maintain expenditures and cash flow items. Using the software I could easily generate reports that clearly showed were we were in the process. I have no doubt that using this software has saved me months in the probate process and is saving the estate significant amounts of money that I would likely be spending with Attorney consultations. This software has made a great impression with my Attorney as I produce reports that have all the detail needed to the Estate. It has also been very helpful for the heirs since I have been able to be very proactive on letting them know exactly were we stand in the process. I highly recommend this software. It has removed a lot of stress from the process of being an executor.

Named Executor of my Mom's estate, I EstateExecs and extremely valuable tool, making me aware of several steps I wouldn't have known to take, and enabling me to be transparent with my family as well as giving them a place to go 24x7 to have their questions answered without the need to call and interrupt me and have me repeat same information for each. In addition, there a "live" person reached out to me to see how things were going and address any questions I had. Highly recommend!

My California estate attorney recommended this program after numerous failed attempts trying to do an estate accounting in Excel. I had previously spent weeks trying to get all of my dad's assets, liabilities and debts entered and reconciled in various other types of accounting templates, all of which ended in frustration due to the inability to get it all to reconcile. My attorney rejected draft after draft, until she finally did some research and found EstateExec. By this time I was burned out by the entire experience, so I waited a week and signed up for the free trial. I immediately got on a roll. As data is entered, the program puts it into the appropriate categories, which then systemically created the reconciliation by way of all of the connected tabs in the program. This is the part my attorney needed to see that I couldn't achieve previously. During my free trial period, Dan Stickel, the developer, followed up with a personal email to ask if I had any questions - which I did. I purchased the program for $99 before the trial was even up, because I just knew it was going to work exactly as needed. It was very user friendly and very intuitive, but still not having any sort of finance background (I'm in the legal profession) I continued to have questions, and Dan continued to provide solutions to every question I had. The best part is the reports - there are various reports that can be generated that tallies and summaries all of the data - and this is exactly what my attorney needed. I sent her my first draft and she said "finally, success, this is exactly what we need". With that, I continued to enter my data and everything reconciled to the penny.

While it was the program that was the tool that ultimately allowed me to complete this task as an estate Administrator and Trustee, it was Dan and his team, with their support and service, that got me through to the finish line. I've never experienced this level of personal support and assistance with anything I have ever purchased before. Before working with them, I was about to throw in the towel and hire a CPA to do this, but fortunately I found them just in time and didn't have to do this.

The cost of $99 was worth every penny. I just wish I had found it months ago. Even for the most finance-savvy person, it is well worth the investment from a time-saving and efficiency perspective.

I highly recommend EstateExec for anyone who, like me, has to serve as an estate executrix with no previous experience in that role. I found EstateExec through a Google search about the functions of an executrix. Immediately following my father's death, I used the software to identify and gather all of the necessary documents, accounts, and other data into one place. It was an easy way to have one central location for everything. Although my dad's estate was not complicated since I had already been his financial guardian, it was good to have checklists to make sure I hadn't missed anything.

I thought the $99 cost was entirely reasonable and it certainly saved me money since I didn't have to contact the high-priced lawyer with every single question that I had. I know that there are a lot of additional features in the software that I have not had to use, but which I'm sure would be of tremendous value in a more complicated estate.

There is a small learning curve, but if you just follow the guidelines provided, it doesn't take long. If you are faced with handling a loved one's estate, EstateExec is an excellent first step in educating yourself on your responsibilities and beginning the estate process. It helped me create order out of chaos at a very difficult time. Even with a professional background in finance, I found it an invaluable tool.

Excellent product with comprehensive Canadian relevance. Intuitive, user friendly with good navigation, reporting and tracking of the numerous Estate management activities. Good tutorials. Would recommend for first time Estate managers. I thought it was good value and the one question I had was quickly answered by the tech support group. The info saves quick and allows good flexibility for output reports

I love this software. Before I found it, I was not only managing grief and loss, I was overwhelmed and confused about the many tasks of being my Mom's estate executor. I honestly felt quite alone, and a conversation with the lawyer cost hundreds of dollars - just to get some basic information about where to start. My sister sent me a link to EstateExec's video on how executors get paid, which includes a calculator for each state in the US. I was so thankful to have a clear explanation and real help on something, I decided to explore the site and try the free trial. As I explored the Doc tab (I call it a "manual") I found so much help, yet it's in a simple format with hyperlinks to more information only if you need it. So that keeps it really easy to read. The Tasks tab helped me list and organize everything that needs to be done, and see which comes first, and what can wait. The other tabs keep all of your information in one place. Overall, it's very useable, and the customer service is great. Thank you for making this software!

Upon the death of a family member, I started google searches to find out what had to be done and in what time frame. There are a bunch of websites - all that give you bits and pieces of the process. None of them had everything, and there were often discrepancies as to the perceived timing of things. What I wanted to find was a checklist. I did eventually find one, but it was just another piece of paper to print out and try and keep track of, along with the numerous notes, scribbles and excel sheets where I was trying to compile information on bills, insurance, ect. It quickly became overwhelming trying to keep track of everything.

One of my google searches landed me on an article describing EstateExec. When I clicked on the link to check it out I wasn't very optimistic. I'm happy to say I was so, so wrong. EstateExec has everything I was looking for and then some. All in one location. It's easy to use and definitely worth the price. I would highly recommend this to anyone with the daunting task of dealing with an estate. It will save your sanity.
