great product but it has bugs that doesnt allow me to run it softly

EstateExec is a terrific information source as well as set of organizational tools. I am an attorney, but have never handled an estate until my mother died earlier this month, so I am just a layperson at this portion of the law.
There's a very good checklist of tasks to be accomplished, and when. And you can customize and add your own tasks and deadlines. I found much useful state-specific information, with links to the relevant forms and statutes.
I would recommend this program to any executor/executrix.

I found the EstateExec product to be exactly what I needed. I typically do my own taxes with the help of an online service and was definitely looking for something like this to help manage my parent's estate when they passed. The overall user interface is pretty straightforward. I used it to easily track the many different assets and debts I had to untangle. The documentation really is exceptional. Simple yet deep and detailed. Has cool user management integrations to share read-only access with other beneficiaries which helps immensely keep all interested parties up-to-date. The trial period is certainly long enough to figure out if the product will meet your needs. The staff there seems engaged and ready to help. I'm a happy customer.

I am deeply appreciative that I found this product. Wish I had know about months before I took over the role of Executor of my father's estate. The functionality and tutorials are great. The information section is a consolidated wealth of information. If I could give the product 6 stars... I would.

I signed up for this program the day that my mother died. It's been 3 months now, and I'm continually amazed at the help that the program offers, as well as the help of their customer support division. I can't imagine trying to be the successor trustee without EstateExec. It allows me to keep track of accounts, expenditures, my time, my costs, list of tasks required and by when, etc. It's worth its cost, and then some. If you are hesitating on spending the $199, and aren't sure if you'll need this, let me assure you that you will need it, and will be eternally glad that you spent the money.

I should have written this a lot sooner. When my father passed in April of 2021, I had my first time experience as an executor. I think I saw an attorney who looked at the will and told me to file it at the county courthouse. Just that piece of advice cost me $30. I knew there would be other responsibilities as soon as I went to the courthouse and saw the county's detailed and confusing list of requirements. It's a long drawn out process, so I started to list the requirements all down in a spreadsheet, but got to thinking that I am not the only one who has ever gone through this and I started for looking for answers on the internet. That's how I found EstateExec. I couldn't have been happier to have found this site. The price was minor compared to having an attorney guide me through the entire process. I loved that it even tailored the information based on my state's requirements. The tool takes you step by step through the process, listing deadlines for items to be completed or filed. The support is exemplary. I had one question concerning the cost accounting side of things. It wasn't clear how I should file a deposit on a property sale and then later record the entire sale. Someone from the team (Matt, specifically) reached out to me within a day. We actually spoke on the phone for about an hour. We emailed several times since then. They took a look at my issue, helped me with a workaround and later improved the cost accounting side of things based on my feedback so others won't encounter the same or similar issues. The tool was instrumental in me carrying out my duties. I finally closed the estate in September of 2022. My tasks and records were very detailed and the Commissioner of Accounts responsible for reviewing my records commended me on the detail and accuracy of the records. I have to say that EstateExec played a large role in this. I am in my 60's and every few weeks either a friend or one of their parents has passed. Any time I feel that I can, I let the family know about EstateExec. In my opinion, this tool is so critical, it should be a requirement for funeral homes to make people aware of it! I even attempted to discuss me helping them market it, but they have a good team there already :-) . If I ever have to perform this difficult task again, I will definitely be going back to EsateExec.com for help. I can't recommend this tool highly enough. If you have been appointed as executor, get it now!

Being an executor means assuming many tasks, usually ones that are unfamiliar. The responsibility also involves tracking and sharing a lot of information. EstateExec helps you learn about and track those tasks and your efforts. It also helps you share details about who is owed what, prepare details for lawyers or courts, and even allow trusted people to have limited access to the software. There are some quirks to the UI, but after you learn those, it's easy to use. Finally, the customer service is attentive and very helpful. Try it out, I think you'll be happy that you did.

Since I had no idea where to begin with managing an estate, I was lucky that a friend found this tool. It has been an invaluable guide to ensure I don’t miss anything. I also really like that all the finances are in one place. And the support team is amazing. You will never be left to figure it out for yourself!

I was looking for a product that would combine the Estate's and the Executor's financial activities as well as some guidance in one program rather than using Quicken and/or Excel and searching through endless websites for advice. Bought this product and got a whole lot more. The guide is very helpful as is the task list, it's specific to my province and everything is in one place and it is easy to share the information with the beneficiaries to provide an inclusive environment. Customer support has also been very helpful in answering questions.

I am very pleased with how EstateExec helped me managed the estate of my late sister. When she passed away, the responsibility of closing out her open accounts and selling her co-op fell on me. EstateExec led me through the process effortlessly and was a tremendous help in developing a pay-out schedule for the heirs in the family. I am a satisfied customer and would recommend this application to anyone needing support.

When my father passed and I was appointed executor I knew it would be a challenge due to a complicated estate, but I was sure my excel skills were up to the task. I very quickly realized the ability to track and share all the information within excel was too daunting and started looking for excel templates. That was when I came upon EstateExec and thought I would give it a try. It has been fantastic and laying out the steps, tracking assets and transactions, but most importantly providing a platform to share the information I input with the other beneficiaries. I'm not through the process yet and have had some challenges, but the support team has stepped up every time at EstateExec and even beefing up some areas of the documentation that I found challenging. If you haven't, it is worth taking them up on their offer of a free trial.

Being executor for a loved one is a painful and confusing process. There is much that must be done, and very little out there to guide you. Attorneys alone are not enough, and they may simply sit back and respond to queries. The problem is you don’t know what you don’t don’t know. This site lays things out in a step by step process and most important, provides a program where you can record actions taken and track progress. I strongly recommend you make use of this program. The people who developed this don’t simply give you a check list and sit back, they actively communicate with you to ask how you are doing, they want your suggestions to improve, and they provide sound advice. Highly recommended.

As a former Navy Officer and legal officer this software is outstanding. I am using it for preplanning settlement of an estate. It provides reports to understand, explain, and share the complexity and milestones of an estate with the heirs. It is a great tool that laid a foundation of trust and comfort between the family heirs. The developers personal time to check on my satisfaction and offer to answer any questions was an unexpected bonus. The family attorney was impressed with our preparation. Recommended.

There was so much to think about while dealing with the grief of the loss of a mother. I decided to try the free trial. The ease of use was outstanding. Being able to print reports to show everyone involved in the estate has been great. I I highly recommend using EstateExec!

I started out slowly, using the free trial for a couple of hours, then I said to myself "You can't do this job without this" and bought it immediately. Best decision ever!

This is something every executor needs. In the middle of all this grief and turmoil and uncertainty, when my mother passed away, I didn't know what to do or how to keep track of all of the things needed for probate. Sure, I got a lawyer but there was so much I alone was responsible for. I am in the middle of the process and all of the guides and documentation, as well as features in the software, have been immeasurably helpful to me.

Fantastic application for documenting all that needs to be reported during the management of an estate. Purchased a second license but realized I made a mistake. Thanks to their great customer service, my money was quickly refunded after explaining the problem.

Really helpful in providing detailed estate accounting! There were times when I just couldn’t figure out how to do something and Estate Exec support team quickly responded with easy step by step instructions! The cash flow section is a snap to set up and having it sync with our trust bank account was definitely a plus. The “tips” were useful and I definitely recommend anyone needing to provide detailed reports buy this product! Very reasonably priced!

It's such a great tool, especially when you've lost someone and can hardly function. It also helps with family infighting, because you can produce detailed documents if there's any questions of impropriety. It's hard enough to be an executor or trustee, because you don't get time to grieve, but this program has helped me stay organized. I can use all the help I can get now.
