I used EstateExec to help me as executor of a complex estate with 10 heirs. The software was extremely helpful and very user friendly, and makes adjustments for whichever state the estate is located in. It allows one to print and/or send electronically multiple useful reports. When I had questions, the company was very responsive. I honestly don’t know how I could have carried out this task over the last 2 years without this program. I would recommend it to anyone!

EstateExec is a complete system for estate management. It provides great guidance and resources to ensure no steps are missed. I am confident in my ability to manage my friend's estate with all the tools the system provides.

My mother passed about 2 years ago and my dad this past January. I was named the Executor of the Will and didn't know where to start. There was no money in the checking account and I was left with a mess. Since there was no money, I was left with general expenses etc....coming out of my personal account. I met with the Probate Officer at the local court house and did a lot of reading and watching YouTube videos. About 3 weeks ago, I watched a video about EstateExec and decided to purchase it on Amazon. I immediately fell in love with the program and wished I had it back in January. I'm currently still navigating Probate and my next task is completely the inventory. I opened a checking account by selling some assets and the program is doing the accounting for me as I need to submit a court approved inventory in July. Also, Dan from EstateExec reached out to me after opening an account with an open invitation with questions. I emailed him this morning and he responded within an hour. I would highly recommend this product as it has all the necessary probat forms or links to your state within the program. There is also a check list of tasks from start to finish.

My mother's estate has been very difficult and complex because things were not left in a good state. I was the only one that was able to take on the task. My first order of business was to try to make sense of things and get organized. I can tell you in all honesty that having software already formatted and geared to the state in which my mother (I live in another state) saved my life. It gave me a starting point and a way to track executor hours, kept track of bills, log expenses, log inventory and distribution of assets. it has been invaluable and has been a lifeboat in what has been a stormy and tumultuous sea. All that and Estate Exec is very reasonable priced for the service, support and information you get. I am still using it, as my mother's probate will probably continue another 6 months or so. Do not hesitate to use this software. I am an actual customer and I have no affiliation with the company-this is an honest review.

Recommended by our Estate Attorney and found this program very helpful and easy to use. For those of us that are not attorneys the Docs section is quite beneficial for tips and forms to use along with the task checklist in the Task tab. I would highly recommend this program to anyone administrating an estate.

EstateExec is RAD! As Executor of a complicated Estate the tasks were overwhelming. Thankfully, after a few months in, I found EstateExec. Goodbye spreadsheets! Having the ability to store all information in one place, and to boot, create reports has been amazing. The interface is user friendly and the customer service is AWESOME! For anyone who is Executor of an Estate (a job I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy) I would highly recommend EstateExec.

Exactly what I needed to help me figure out how to get through my mother's estate as Trustee. I knew what had to be done and saw weeks of creating spreadsheets in front of me. I then find out about Estate Exec and it was off to the races from the start. What a great interface and ststem. Saved me days of my time without a second thought.

A very well designed product. It has been a tremendous help to both me (executor) and my attorney. I have already recommended EstateExec to two of my friends who will be the executor for their parent's estates. I would recommend this software for anyone dealing with the management of an estate.

My father's death was not unexpected as he had attained a great age and lived a long life. However, as often happens in these types of circumstances, not all was in good order. This was an especially difficult time as, due to Covid, things were still not working in a normal or efficient way. My young adult son, who had traveled across the country with me to help me transition my father to a care home, but ended up helping me manage his estate after his death, was looking for some way to help us navigate this unwieldy undertaking. That's when we found EstateExec online. We read the reviews, which were impressive. EstateExec immediately provided us a way to systematically start the daunting task of administering my father's estate. Especially helpful, at the start, was the timeline EstateExec provides the user. This task needs to be done in the first 2-3 days after death, then these are the tasks for the first week after death, then the tasks that need to be completed by the third month, and so on, up until the estate is finally settled. Settling an estate can, in many cases, take up to two years, sometimes more. Using EstateExec's timeline is so helpful and important during this long process. Many Executors also work, and, perhaps, like me, did not realize what a time-consuming job being an Executor actually is. EstateExec helps Executors keep track of the many facets of settling the estate over the year or two to come. In addition, several weeks in, we received a phone call from the founder of EstateExec, Matt Veltmann. He reached out to check on how all was progressing and how we were finding EstateExec at the start of the long process of settling the estate and trust. I cannot emphasize enough, in this time of phone trees, hours on hold, and outsourced customer service, how wonderful it was to talk to a human being. Matt, and his awesome partner/developer/tech guy, Dan Stickel, are a fantastic team and have put their hearts and souls into developing EstateExec. I highly recommend this product for anyone who finds themselves in the position of Executor.

Have been using the program to manage my family trust for about 5 months now. The ability to organize all aspects of the process in a report format is very helpful. Having all the tasks already suggested with a timeline was instrumental in getting the process moving after my mother passed suddenly. The resources, knowledge base of info on trusts, estates, heirs was invaluable and i referred to it often. A great product if you have to deal with a trust and don't want the expense of hiring an attorney.

I occasionally had trouble seeing how the software should work--but that's me and almost all software is unintuitive for me.
The great thing about the program is that you don't know what you don't know--you don't know what categories of activities and decisions (and record-keeping) actually exist. The program shows you, and makes the record-keeping easy.
In addition, a great plus is that it lays the chores out in the proper order--something most of us would have no insight into when we start.

Awesome software! Provides an organized platform for managing through the process. Best feature for me is syncing with the checkbook. The links to guide you are great as well... When I question something, it's easy to click to an answer. Highly recommend EstateExec!

This program solved all my problems with knowing what was required of me as executor. Everything is laid out in an easy to understand timeline, and the extra information about each topic is extensive. All your research questions are answered here; I could quit Googling for my education. Once I started entering my information, I began to relax for the first time in a long time. Highly recommend. My attorney even asked for the name of the program to pass on to other clients. Saved me a bundle as I could quit asking him expensive questions!

I'm a CPA and I thought I could handle all the paperwork, and Organization of being an executor when my friend passed using my typical tools of excel and office but was quickly overwhelmed. EstateExec helped tremendously by helping me organize what I needed to do as well as included super helpful task checklists of all the things I needed to do as no one tells you all the things that have to be done. I'd be lost without it.

This software is really great, becoming a Personal Representative or Executor can be very daunting but this software will help you greatly. I will guide you on the most important things and making sure you don't forget the most important things. Also it helps making an inventory and keeping track of all expenses and hours you as Executor will make. I would say try it out for a couple of days before you commit, it is actually only about $17 a month for a year. But once you start working with it you will like it and will sign-up. I have not tried other programs/software so cannot really compare but with all the things this software offers I feel in control. Good luck with the decision and with being an executor.

Estates are complicated and I didn't have any background in the subject. EstateExec has been invaluable at getting me up and running in handling this task. Reading the "Docs" section provides a good overview of what all needs to happen, and the "Tasks" tab keeps me on track with timelines. I am impressed that there are click throughs on terms that lead to government websites in my local jurisdiction of Saskatchewan. I didn't see another product out there that handles this topic in as straightforward a manner.

This software has been surprisingly good. I was very, very skeptical of the app that sounded too good to be true. The free trial was helpful. I figured that would be more than sufficient to reveal any problems I expected. However, I was very surprised at what the app offered. The app is very well thought-out and provides extremely useful information that I would have had no idea to think about and plan for timely. I was particularly impressed with the knowledge base that covers nuances of all the different states and ancillary probate procedures - I am in Louisiana, which has a unique legal framework, and some property exists in a neighboring state under a different legal system, but that was no problem at all for laying out a task list of manageable executables. The biggest thing I wish I would have done was to set up this app prior to the death of a beloved family member. It would have been immensely helpful to lay the groundwork for information and steps necessary to flow into the estate management even more easily than it has been with the app alone. I would very much recommend this app, which really helps focus the catalog of issues into something that can be managed relatively effortlessly.
