Delivery service was great with text to let me know it was on its way and a call from the driver when the postcode led him astray! Pleasant, polite and fast service.

Decking Project
After spending hours looking to buy materials to build a decking we decided to buy through a local supplier who were offering exactly what we wanted, with the customisations that we wanted at a better price than the big retailers. The website was logical and intuitive to use and we were offered free delivery. The quality of the timber delivered was excellent and made the overall project much easier to deliver. The delivery service was excellent also, the driver was very attentive to where it was most appropriate and convenient to drop to.

5* service and experience.
5* service and experience.
Ordered two different lengths of decking for my garden online via a very easy-to-use site. I had some initial questions regarding delivery and phoned through before purchasing. The guy I spoke to was very helpful, friendly and polite.
This friendliness continued on the delivery date. Two helpful gents arrived on time and assisted with the offloading, carrying through a very tight entrance-way!
Overall experience with Essex Timber & Plywood was nothing short of excellent. Ordered on the Wednesday and had delivered on the Friday.
Highly recommend to anyone in need of decking or other wood materials.

I'm not trade
I'm not trade, neither do I spend a fortune on timber yet all the staff treat their customers the same: helpful, cheery and knowledgeable.
Also, I've yet to find wood cheaper anywhere locally.

Delivery driver went above and beyond…
Delivery driver went above and beyond to help me carry the timber into the back garden, as they normally only do curb side drop off. The delivery was on time the timber was competitively priced and great quality.

Fast delivery but damaged wood
Fast delivery, but my sheet of phenolic ply arrived with one corner delaminated and a large zigzag scratch, in the middle, right through the resin layer. I wasn't at home to sign for it myself, or I would have sent it back.
