Products are shipped in a timely manner, but paying invoices it brutal since they won't accept our CC over the phone. I'm on the phone now for 20 minutes to pay with a CC.

Horrible customer service and products for the price. I wish I could attach photos of the damaged and defective products that were sent. Don't believe the upgrades or that quality is better. It's all cheap.

Save your money, don't order supplies from School Specialty. They sent me the incorrect item, the replacement was lost, and then back-ordered multiple times. The whole process has taken several months, and has been frustrating and difficult. Do not sell/carry products that you cannot source consistently!

The company falsely gives shipping eta and is taking advantage of a vulnerable family looking to purchase and adaptive bike. Their website states 2-3 week est shipping and as you can see from other reviews, they are not accurate eta’s. They hide behind the manufacturer and blame them for shipping rather than standing by their own word. Shame on you.

I ordered from School Specialty over 2 months ago. At the time, I was told that the order would be held until shipping charges could be determined. This order is still being held with no updated information regarding the status of the order being given. I have reached out to School Specialty by phone 6 times and by email countless additional times and each time have been told that someone will be in contact with me. To date, I have received no assistance with this order from anyone at School Specialty. I am unable to cancel the order because it's being held and feel as though I am unlikely to ever receive it.

I have been an Art teacher in Elementary schools for many years , School Specialty has always been he company we have ordered from. :). There has been no problems until this year...the scissors that were ordered for the students, the handles, break apart right away, first or second use!!! I tried them myself, and the same thing happened!

Buyer beware. Flaghouse was recently purchased by School Specialty. I placed an order a month ago. No idea when it's coming. I sent multiple requests via email. No response. I tried calling...the first 3 times the prompts lead to me being hung up on! I finally got someone on the line from School Specialty. They have no record of the order, asked for my patience, and will get back to me when they can! Amazing! I can't even cancel the order! So they have my money and no record of any order as they are wading through backlogs. FYI, I may have to go to my bank to cancel and get my funds back. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience.

Ordered supplies in September 2022. Part of the order was not shipped until late November 2022. Box was damaged, and the packing slip did not list my name. Front office contacted customer service to determine the recipient. I was notified the end of February that my item had arrived earlier, but was damaged.

Due to the time spent trying to determine who the supplies were for, customer service will not replace the broken item. Lack of customer service from the beginning of the process.

This company is a nightmare. Ordered pens in JUNE of 2022, they didn't ship until DECEMBER despite them promising they'd be ready any minute, and I was double charged with zero resolution. Horrible, would only recommend to my worst enemy.

Says item will arrive in 5 days, charges credit card. Sends 5 1/2 months later, followed up 3 days afterward with a PAST DUE notice from their “collections department!” I have perfect credit, so I called them and paid again, but be warned!!!! I’m trying to save everyone from ever having an experience like mine. Read other reviews, I wish I had, I am not alone!

Very pleased. I was hesitant to order from this company because there were so many bad reviews on-line, but I was pleasantly surprised. It took a few days longer to receive than I expected, but their customer service center was extremely easy to get in contact with, easy to talk with, and informative and helpful. The products I ordered arrived within a reasonable amount of time, and the order was correct and of good quality. They offer very affordable prices on school supplies. I was able to get three quality zippered binders for less than what I would have paid for one at a retail store. I would definitely use this company again based on the good experience that I've had.

Terrible customer "service". Promise to have someone respond with a solution and then no one ever does. Shop somewhere else!!!!

Worst company to deal with. They tried sending us 2 different shipments when we'd only ordered once (and paid for the one). We refused the second shipment and sent it back. They continue to try and bill us for the second shipment, despite several emails back and forth assuring that the invoice would be cancelled for the second shipment. They finally issued a credit and we were assured it would be cancelled. Then a month later, we received a statement showing a credit NOT for the amount of the shipment, and the original amount of the second invoice! This has been an ongoing battle for months and we are still trying to get it solved. Never using this company again.

We ordered desks for our school. The company canceled the order after two months. I ordered desks from Amazon instead. Another month later. we get hit with the charge and they say the original desks shipped. Customer service insists the orders were all canceled and they didn't charge us--going to have to dispute it with the credit card company.

My daughter received a $50 gift certificate from SchoolSpecialty as a prize in a county school art competition. We used it to order some colored pencils/supplies. There is no way to complete the purchase on their website. I then had to speak with a customer service rep to finish the sale, providing the certificate number as well as my credit card. For over 3 months in a row, I have been getting a "past due" invoice. I have spoken on the phone 3 times now to fix this error. I am told that it's a different department (every time) that handles this issue. I finally got them to annotate in their audit trail that (1) the certificate was used via the telephone rep, and (2) that my credit card had already been billed for the difference. Even with that, I am still getting the "invoice due" letters. Unbelievable. I will never make another purchase with them.

Simply the worst customer service. They have no accountability for their delivery service. They have no respect for customers either. You can't get through by phone. They won't respond to emails. They don't provide accurate tracking information.

This company is FRAUD STAY AWAY. I tried to purchase something for $50 and my bank blocked the transaction and locked my card for fraudulent activity! Here I was thinking it was a glitch in the system, so Silly me tried purchasing over the phone since it was an option, and they said I had to create an act over the phone first in order to buy, but that nobody was available to create an act for me? So I work for a school as a Para in the Sped-SEAS program. My teacher was gifted an electric pencil sharpener. It stopped working so naturally I go to school specialty’s website thinking that there would be a product manual. There wasn’t, so I called and spoke with the first rep and explained the situation and that I needed some support. She looks it up and couldn’t find anything and explained that without a receipt that she couldn’t do anything for me. So I said just to recap if a person is given one of your products as a gift and don’t have a receipt them you don’t stand by your warranty or product. She continues to ramble on the same thing, without a receipt blah blah blah. So finally I ask to speak with a supervisor hoping that there would be some kind of sense but unfortunately there was not. She explains the same thing and mentioned again that they couldn’t find that particular mode number. I go through the same thing with her as the previous rep. Not to mention we work for a school who had to get things donated to help out each classroom. So if you’re looking for a strong solid company that stands by their warranty and products, keep looking they’re not it.
