Delivery of divan bed base 30/08/23
Delivery of divan bed base 30/08/23. The organisation of the delivery went according to plan, they phoned in advance and arrived as arranged
I paid Epic Logistics extra for assembly of the base once delivered and removal of the packaging and my old bed base.
The delivery men left the base in its packaging and unassembled in the bedroom. When my husband enquired about the assembly they told him they would do it if he paid them to do it “now”. He wasn’t sure what I had paid for, so concentrated on making sure they took the old base away. On my return we had to assemble the gas piston assisted storage bed and remove all the packaging ourselves.
I spoke to Epic Logistics and requested a refund for the assembly and packaging that wasn’t done and they reluctantly agreed. I am still waiting 10 days later and my phone calls to find out how long they plan to take, never get beyond the answer phone. They were easy enough to contact before delivery and prompt to charge me, but now cannot be contacted.
If you use this company be careful and if you request extras, make sure you have proof of what you have paid for to show the delivery men. If there are any problems you can expect them to be reluctant and unhelpful - that is if you can get them to answer the phone first!

The damage they did to my house wasn’t EPIC!
DO NOT USE EPIC LOGISTICS!
I had multiple deliveries from this company any each time they damaged my items being delivered.
The two men delivering my item were meant to be building the item and taking apart an old item. They couldn’t manage to dismantle or build the items as they turned up to an assembly booking with ‘no tools’.
When they borrowed my tools they still couldn’t build the bed and took them over 3 hours to which they left the house with it half built.
They damaged my brand new carpet, they damaged by brand new paint work and scuffed my new skirting boards.
The company had promised to compensate me and took responsibility for the damage, the compensation has never reached my account after being sent numerous confirmations the money is on its way.
The company admitted to sending drivers with zero experience to my house as they said they had no other options on the day.
Do not use this company unless you want your items to be damaged and no care to be taken in your house.

Totally professional!
