Placed the order just after returning from a week in Normandy and wanting to make the memories last a little longer. Order placed, delivery date of 06/08 chosen. So far so good. Delivery date came and went, I dropped them a line. I was told the package was damaged and new stock was on its way. Hmmmm. Sat back and waited almost a week and got confirmation that DHL had the parcel, due for delivery next day 12/08. All might yet be forgiven. But after 4pm DHL delivery no longer tracking and still waiting for delivery early evening. Checked email for any updates to find one from Epicerie to let me know that four of the nine items ordered were out of stock and a refund would be issued. All very fair but very very disappointing. Luckily we’re heading back to Normandy in four weeks time so memories will be refreshed in situ. Sadly can’t recommend, even if the balance of the order does finally arrive.

Update.. DHL at 8pm on 12/08 now saying that delivery “is subject to a book in arrangement and will be delivered as soon as possible” No idea what a “book in arrangement” is but looks like yet another delay. Two organisations each seemingly doing their best to ruin the experience (I had specified DPD for delivery as I trust them and know all the local drivers through orders with other companies), Epicerie chose to use DHL, really frustrating. Heaven knows when we will get what is left of the order.

Latest update … 8:15pm 12/08… DHL showed up despite the puzzling message above, driver immediately apologised explaining that today was his first day, credit to him for being honest. Well done and I hope the job gets better for him. The delivery itself? Twin pack of chocolate turns out to be only one bar delivered …. but after all of this… really don’t care any more. Happy to have got a least part of the order. Lesson learned.

Now to see how long the refund takes to land. Not optimistic.

15/08 the refund landed back in my bank account so at least that was reasonably quick.

It was easy to order, you pick a date you want it delivered. Arrives on time .. parcel in perfect condition? Excellent

My order with Epicerie was full of wonderful cheeses and other other items reminiscent of a recent holiday in France. Unfortunately when the order came it was packed in a box which was too small and a number of items arrived not in the best condition. However when I complained Jenne dealt with my problem, replacing all items without any trouble. I would recommend Epicerie to anyone wanting a taste of France in the UK. Their quality and service was exceptional.

Epiceriecorner is the go-to supplier for French products not available in the UK. The prices are very reasonable and the packaging is very careful. Being French it is great to find product you are missing when you lived in France. It is a bit of France being delivered to my door.

I’ve been been waiting a while to order because I knew it was going to be expensive! I treated myself and my family to some French goods for around £100 which to me is a lot of money, but I missed French food so much.
Delivery was great and everything was packaged really carefully, for that thank you.
However, the fresh foods were packed with ice packs to keep them cool, which is fine but because they were in contact with the packaging everything was wet. Cheeses were wet… all packaging soaking wet.
I emailed with photos but all I got was to say thanks for the feedback and it happens when it’s hot weather. I live in Scotland it’s not hot haha trust me
No compensation given.
Pate mousse de canard was short date (got partial refund) and had to be eaten immediately, we had some cheese and other bits too too and next day me and my partner had a dodgy stomach. Pate rilletttes was short date too and half of it went in the bin. There’s only so much pate you can eat in a couple of days.

I’m not sure I will order again unfortunately. Really disappointed

They have a great selection of fresh food and desserts. I really enjoyed what I ordered. Excellent customer service and a quick delivery with no hiccups. Just amazing!!

It's great being able to get some of our favourite French products back home in the UK. I've used Epicerie corner now several times, and will continue to do so in the future.

Ordered May 10th delivered on Friday May 16th.
Website is easy to use, long best before dates and some lovely free items. Boxes packed properly and not overly stuffed so arrived in perfect condition. Some hard to find items like Kellogg's Smacks and some crisps/snacks/candy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend EC and would definitely be ordering again. Those BBQ monster munch are delicious. Really satisfactory user experience all round. Many thanks

Fast efficient service. Can't get Maizena in the UK. Makes perfect white sauce with no lumps. Just love to get French biscuits too. What would I do without Epicerie Corner?

Faultless! This is my fourth order from Epicerie Corner and finally they have sorted out their packing issues. This time my order arrived really well packed - there were no damaged or missing items and everything was still really cold. What a lovely change from my previous orders (after the 3rd I had stopped ordering because of all the issues). Well done to Jean and his team for making your company into one that I would love to order from regularly.

Excellent company. A very good selection of foods which are difficult to obtain in the U K. The prices are also very reasonable. Packing was extremely good. Delivery, I am pleased to say, was by DHL which, in my opinion, is the best courier without a doubt. Highly recommended.

I have been using this 2 in 1 Dop shampoo and conditioner for many years. Started when I was resident in France and now at last I have the original product again.
I have found that it is not only an excellent conditioning shampoo but it seems to work very well as an overall body wash which works for me as I have dry skin, this leaves my skin moisturised and itch free!
I shall certainly be shopping here again.
Price is right and product genuine.with prompt efficient delivery.
