Unreliable
Delivery booked for 23/12, got a confirmation email on the 15th saying that my package was out for delivery. Yes, almost 9 days ago!
After no update/tracking number I called on the 22/12 to get a confirmation on my package, I was assured my package will be delivered on time.
Well, woke up to a notification saying my package will be delayed, what a joke, how can you confirm it's being shipped on the phone than proceed to not ship it?
I understand issues with shipping services, but don't claim on the phone that package is sent and will arrive at scheduled time when it clearly is not.

Epicerie Corner fine oids
This was my first order and had questions regarding the product and shelf life. These were answered within 10-15 minutes. Later more questions about the delivery date, a few weeks later, also answered punctually. Product arrived, packed perfectly.
Quality as I would expect from it's origin in France.
This company, for me so far, is great.
Highly recommended for some fine foods that are not available in small town UK.
They give access to the things you may only find in Big City Fromageries or Delicatessens.

Very Short Use by Date on Products
Bought 6 pots of rillettes for xmas and new year, delivered 16th December - Use by date 22nd December. Also, the seal on one of the pots was damaged and surface was mouldy on that side so had to throw away. Wrote to them on their website but got no reply. Sending out old stock to online purchasers - AVOID.
Their reply is nonsense and mentions "fresh item"- preserved pate is not a fresh item, and has at least a month or more when bought in a supermarket

We’re really sorry for your experience. Fresh items that you ordered have a quite short shelf life usually no longer than a week, and we don’t hold stock for fresh items. If you’d contacted us before ordering, we would have advised choosing a delivery date closer to Christmas.
That said, we’re sorry about the damaged pot. Please feel free to email us directly and we’ll refund any damaged items.

Well packaged delivery.
Ordered a number of items, soup, tinned beans and tinned aubergines, only available in France. Delivered in good time and very well packaged. Not all of my order was available, however, got a prompt refund.

Brilliant Seller great service!
Found Epicerie corner on facebook and was very excited to be able to get my fix of french goodies!! Service was excellent and communication about unavailable items was great.
I ordered sauces, boudin noir , crisps and more and the chilled items came with a chilled bag .
Will definitely use again - now if you are able to sell beer that would be a big plus!!

I found it easy to order, these mints are very tasty! made with spring water and don't send my bloods through the roof, great for my diabetes and you get loads in the packet.

Terrible service. Wrong items in the order, items not in stock and incorrect quantities.
Called to ask to rectify and couldn’t they couldn’t care less - supposed refunds will take several days to process.
First and last time I’ll use them, suggest you learn from my mistakes.
