My BAD experience with EPIC – AWAY!
"I had a contract with Epic for €46 per month, and their employee, Mr. P., suggested on his own that I could switch contracts and pay €31 per month. However, I had to pay €50-60 for the device. That day, I only had money to pay the monthly subscription, a few days before the end of August. He tells me, 'No problem, because we're moving [offices or systems?], you can pay for the device, I'll set up the new connection for you, and I'll cancel the old one at the end of the month.'
I set up the new connection, but Mr. P. did not cancel the old one (at least to terminate the old contract at the end of the month). About 10 days later, I received a letter to pay €7 for something I still haven't understood. I went and asked the same person, 'What are these €7?' and he says, 'It's for the new package.'
'Okay, didn't I pay everything?' Anyway, I paid them.
The next letter came again for €46; I thought it was for the previous month when I had the old connection (the old contract). Again, €46 came; I went back to Epic to ask, 'What's going on?' Mr. P. checks and tells me, 'Everything is fine, you'll get €31, sometimes double charges come.' I reply, 'Double charges? I've been with Epic for 2-3 years, first time I've heard of this.'
The next day I go to pay, they tell me at the cashier '€69.' The Epic employee even blamed me on top of that, saying I have two connections and that I'm responsible for having both. Over the next 4-5 days, I went and terminated the connection, I didn't pay anything, I returned the device (which I used for ONLY 1 month), they didn't refund me the €50-60 I paid for the device, but they want me to pay €91.
Let me ask, who protects us from such unacceptable actions? Do telecommunications companies just do whatever they want on their own? What are the competent authorities that oversee them?"
Removal of my credit without notice
Dear Epic Customer Support,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the removal of prepaid credit from my account without my consent.
My prepaid SIM is fully registered and active, and there has been no breach of registration requirements or applicable laws on my part. Despite this, my available prepaid balance was removed without clear justification, prior notice, or my authorisation.
Please note that prepaid credit represents funds already paid by the consumer. Under Cyprus and EU consumer protection law, any forfeiture of prepaid credit must be:
clearly stated in the contract,
transparent and prominently disclosed,
applied correctly and proportionately.
I request the following in writing:
The exact contractual clause under Epic’s Terms and Conditions that was used to justify the removal of my prepaid credit;
The date and reason the credit was removed;
Confirmation of whether prior notice was issued, and if so, when and how;
The restoration of the removed credit, or a clear legal explanation if Epic refuses to do so.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the complaint to the Cyprus Consumer Protection Service and the Office of the Commissioner of Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation (OCECPR) for review of potential unfair commercial practices.
I look forward to your written response

Η εξυπηρετηση απο τηλεφωνο, ηλεκτρονικά και στο καταστημα, δεν ειναι καθολου καλη. Δεν μπορουμε να επικοινωνησουμε αμεσα με καποιο καταστημα, πρεπει να παμε εμεις οι ιδιοι στο καταστημα, πραγμα που τον πλειστο κοσμο δε βολευει λογω εργασιας. Ειναι απαραδεκτο να μην μπορουμε να μιλησουμε εν ετη 2025 τηλεφωνικως και να πρεπει να δυσκολευεται ο κοσμος. Επισης, οσον για παραλαβες, δεν ειναι καθολου εντιμοι, πως γινεται να μην γνωριζουν ποτε θα εχουν παραλαβες;;! Εκτος αυτου, εαν καποιος ειναι σε λιστα αναμονης και ερθει η συσκευη του (ενω την εχει κανει προπαραγγελια), αν παει καποιος αλλος στο καταστημα και ζητησει τη συσκευη εκεινη την ωρα θα του τη δωσουν! Ειναι εντελως κοροϊδια.

Requested a call back from both of them, they never did .
I applied online for the fiber connection
I was pushed to get a SIM card connection along with the Fiber .
Signed the contract and been told to wait for a call from the technicians to get the Fiber installed.
I supposed to get 12 months free for both sim and fiber.
The sim card took 2 weeks to get activated.
After I signed up the documents I requested a prove of the offers, because I was sure they Will send me stupid bills to pay soon , but I have been told that I have sim connection only not fiber .
Submitted a complaint online, no reply at all
Cancelling the service with those scammers.

Let me start this off that the internet speeds/connection are good and i would even say that the technicians are good.
The same cannot be said for their customer support. It is terrible. Response time is atrocoius and when you complain about it you get the response of:
"We have within our guidelines approximately 48 hours to respond to a situation involving a technical issue "
Would not recommend - at least for now... maybe when and if they sort out their customer support team

When they offered me the 24 month mobile contract, the lady was so kind and patient and promised me that the price will not go up no matter what, that for 24 months I will only pay 14.99 and no more and it is absolutely all inclusive.
Well that was not true, and now I pay close to 20 euro with added fees, and most LOCAL calls fall outside of the "unlimited calls" when I called them, they had nothing to say and when the same lady tried to call me to tell me to renew my subscription, I told her that she promised me no extra fees and no increase and both happened, she suddenly had nothing to say, said she knew nothing and that I must speak to another department (which I did) and they also made excuses why I must pay more.

And first year was fine. By second year they not only would charge me fake items like "late fee" when I always paid immediately, but the 14.99 contract went up to 17 euro plus they charge me "out of network" which are the 7000 numbers of businesses. So each month I was guaranteed (verbally) that I would only pay 14.99 but now that's all changed and I'm paying 17 to 18 euros. Their contracts only protect them, not us.

She gave me a verbal option of an all inclusive contract for €10 a month...sounds too good to be true, it was!
Not once did she ask how I wanted my invoices sent!
Anyway, it wasn't €10 a month, and they charged me for postal invoices i never received. (€3, 🤣 instead of email that was free? Who would pay €3 for a postal invoice, when cyprus post is sooooo slow)
After complaining i never received, I'm sorry! I was assaulted with, you signed the contract in Stephanis store. I did, the women who gave me the epic contract, was wearing a yellow epic t-shirt 🤣 but they're denying responsibility...
Also, they called me a liar on 2 occasions, as they asked how i paid my bill without an invoice...that was through an sms link!
Worst network ever, on pay as you go, they cut your credit, including sms, when you still have 50cent remaining!

I will try to be as honest and constructive as possible. I've been trying to get in touch with Epic, option number 4 for 2 days. As soon as the waiting time, 10 minutes, expires, the line closes. So conclusion... you sit there and listen to that horrible music for 10 min and then... nothing, they hang up on you. If this is the second best telephone company in Cyprus then things are really tragic. Very disappointed, when you think I've been customer for over 10 years and this is the first time I need urgent their customer service and is nobody there to talk to

Absolutely horrible service. Petros, the local manager of epic Stromboli’s didn’t, even tried to understand the problem or help to solve it. Just giving me the standard response like a an AI. Horrible company if you need anything from them try to find another provider. The company just scammed me for a money, telling one thing when we signed a contract and then the other after a time.
Deceptive sales, nonexistent support, and a week with no internet – Epic Cyprus is a nightmare
We signed up with Epic Cyprus in November 2024, after being approached at home in Limassol by one of their representatives. He offered a “great deal” for home internet: €10/month for the first year, €30/month for the second, with a 2-year contract. We explained clearly that we would be moving to Larnaca in June 2025, and he guaranteed that the contract could be transferred to our new address with the same discounted terms.
That turned out to be a complete lie.
We’ve now moved, and the problems began immediately:
- Epic refuses to process the transfer, claiming our new building “doesn’t exist” in their system – even though it’s 20 years old, has a clear address, is on Google Maps and 2Gis, and most importantly – our neighbors have active Epic internet connections.
- We submitted proof of the building's existence, and were told to go find a fiber optic connection box ourselves – on utility poles or rooftops – and send the serial number. They even suggested we hire an electrician! Is this how a serious company operates?!
- Then they informed us the original discount would no longer apply, because the contract cannot be moved "under the same terms." In other words, we were misled from the start.
On top of that, we were promised we could cancel the contract after a year if needed, now they say early termination means a fine.
Customer service has been rude, unhelpful, and dismissive, showing zero willingness to assist or offer alternative solutions.
We have been without internet for over a week, which is unacceptable for anyone, and we work in IT, so this has directly impacted our ability to do our jobs.
This is not just incompetence, it feels like deliberate dishonesty and complete disregard for customers. We feel scammed, frustrated, and completely abandoned by Epic Cyprus.
Avoid this company. You will regret trusting them.

I went to pay for parking and didn't notice these scammers had put a fake front page on a parking site. They then added me to a subscription that I wouldn't have wanted.
You absolute THIEVES
You absolute THIEVES! You call yourselves a network? You're nothing but a bunch of money-grabbing vultures who prey on your customers! Every single month, it's the same infuriating circus with you! My network gets mysteriously cut off because, oh no, the balance wasn't enough on the EXACT day you decided to check! And what do I have to do? Jump through hoops like a trained dog, providing my ENTIRE bank history multiple times just to prove I had funds!
Then comes the reactivation fee – a blatant punishment for YOUR incompetence! And after arguing until I'm blue in the face, you begrudgingly return it, acting like you're doing me some massive favor! This isn't a once-in-a-blue-moon occurrence; this is a REGULAR SHAKEDOWN!
And don't even get me STARTED on your exit strategy! My contract ends in APRIL, and because I dared to try and cancel a few days early, on the FIRST of the month no less, you slap me with a ridiculous €27 penalty! Oh, but wait, the 1st of May is a PUBLIC HOLIDAY, so you conveniently can't process it then! So because of YOUR inefficiency and the calendar, I'm now stuck paying for an ENTIRE extra month – WITHOUT the discount I was getting – PLUS that insulting €27 "early" termination fee! It's highway robbery, plain and simple!
And the signal? Forget about it! I'm always the LAST one amongst my friends to get even a single bar! You're a JOKE, Epic! A complete and utter DISGRACE of a network! I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy! You are nothing but a pack of incompetent, money-hungry leeches! Mark my words, the second I can escape this nightmare of a contract, I will, and I will make sure everyone I know avoids you like the plague! You are the absolute WORST!

Lets see i just got into this company recently on the speed test the download speed goes up to 700mbps and i have 1GB fiber the ping is terrible goes 300+ sometimes not stable. I will wait and see how it will go and review back. Upload speed is perfect on the speed test though. I hope it can be fixed on Aglantzia area and have no latency thank you

We have signed a contract to upgrade our home's internet/WiFi. The upgrade was made and instead of ending the 2nd line they kept both and kept charging us for 2 separate lines however only 1 was active only 1 router was showing active. I have called numerous times to find a solution to this problem and they never come up with a reply or a phone call. They only promise to call back and never do.
As a family we have 2 mobile contracts and 2 WiFi contracts. I will cancel all of them since they do not give a sh... about their customers.
EPIC you don't deserve a single penny. Never ever going to use your services again.
AVOID THEM AT ANY COST !!!!!!
