Today we had a Half-Day Tour to the Pyramids. Our driver, Mo was very nice, he told us many information about Egypt, advised other beautiful places we should visit in the future. Last but not least, he is a great driver, it’s important in the Cairo traffic. Next time we will travel with him definitely.

The driver, Mo, is very kind and is a reliable driver with smooth and safe drive. Even though he is not a guide, he explained us some of interesting information about the city.
The tour for Coptic churches is really reasonable one and I highly recommend to join it.

I booked a private car to Giza, Saqqara and Dashur, and I had an amazing driver: Esam. He was very kind, polite, and a very good driver. I really recommend him. I had an excellent experience, it was very easy to book and everything went smoothly.

Real thieves
My money was stolen from my bag during a private tour with this company during a trip to Fayoum. It was just Jessy, the tour guide, Ahmed the driver and me. Jessy insisted I could leave everything in the car saying "the car will be locked and the driver will be around". After I discovered my money was missing she tried to convince me my money was stolen during the night in the hotel, that is, someone entered my room while I was asleep. She lied about talking to police from the two parking lots where I left my money inside the car and asking them to watch the cameras. She didn't tell me about the fact that a theft in Fayoum can be reported just in Fayoum, not in Cairo. She told many lies to the tour representative. The tour representative wrote me many messages starting with "we are sorry and we are investigating" but ending with "there's no proof money was stolen".

When booking, we were promised an 8-hour day trip that included a walk through Garbage City and the City of the Dead.
The trip started fifteen minutes late because the guide was behind schedule. We then drove to Garbage City but couldn't visit it because it was deemed too dangerous; the same applied to the City of the Dead. This tour operator makes promises that are not kept.
The trip also ended an hour earlier than scheduled. When we asked to visit the Baron Empain Palace during that remaining hour, we were told we would have to pay an extra $20—excluding the cost of tickets—so we declined. This company are rip-off artists; do not book with them.

Mo was super friendly and we had an amazing day exploring Cairo. He collected us from our hotel on time, drove us around safely, and was ready and waiting at every destination. A great way to spend a day !

We had Mo as our guide and he made it a seamless way to see Cairo. The city is quite spread out so I would 100% recommend to have a driver to make it easy. He was incredible informative, kind, flexible to what we wanted to do and professional along the way.

From the moment I booked, Emo Tours Egypt’s communication was excellent — they were responsive, organised, and made everything very easy before I even arrived.

Mo was a fantastic guide. He met me nice and prompt at the airport and explained a rough plan for the day. He first took me to the Citadel and the stunning Mohammed Ali Mosque, then on to Cairo Coptics where we visited the Hanging Church, St Mary’s Church, and the historic Amr Ibn Al Aas Mosque. Along the way, he shared so much knowledge about Cairo’s history, culture, and religion, which made every stop even more interesting.

We also visited local cultural and artisan spots for papyrus, Egyptian cotton, and Arabic perfumes, which was a great way to experience another side of Cairo. We had planned to visit the Civilisation Museum, but it was unexpectedly closed due to a presidential visit. Instead of letting that affect the day, Mo quickly came up with great alternatives, took me for a delicious local lunch, and then made sure I still got to see the pyramids — which was such a highlight.

Mo was knowledgeable, flexible, friendly, and great company throughout the day. We had such a good laugh together, and he really made the whole experience feel personal, relaxed, and memorable. If you’re looking for a private guide in Cairo, I’d absolutely recommend Mo and Emo Tours Egypt.
