I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with an embark specialist named Milad. He was incredibly knowledgeable about products and process and Milad made my information gathering so simple. The process for combining and opening a new account was simply seamless. I could not have asked for a better client / specialist experience. I will be referring my friends and family to Milad and Embark!

Poor communication
I have asked them multiple times to stop applying for govt grants for us as we are currently non-residents of Canada, yet every month I get an email saying that government grants have been deposited into our account and then a follow-up email saying there is an issue with the beneficiary and to verify with CRA. Even though they are aware we are not residing in Canada currently, this continues month after month and I have spoken with multiple Embark reps via email and phone. PLEASE FIX THIS and stop applying for govt grants on our behalf.

They make your life difficult by not releasing the funds when you request them. I am still in the process of getting my son's money back. ive sent the enrollment letter 10 times and they keep saying they need it again. Horrible. Big regret signing up with them

Please be advised that, as per the CRA's rule, if the beneficiary is enrolled as a part time student, Educational Assistance Payments (EAP) are limited to $4000 for every 13 weeks period of enrollment. Also, please note that the beneficiary is eligible to receive payment for up to 6 months after the end of their enrollment. al inicio tuve inconvenientes con la aplicacion pero, crei que no iba poder comunicarme con embark, dado que no se hablar ingles, pero me asignaron erika quiroz, fue muy amable y aunque fue en español y se hizo facil fue empatica y paciente a la hora de explicar claramente cada punto y poder incribir mis hijos con ustedes. a las perosnas hispanas que no hablan ingles se las superrecomendaria.

Complete & utter incompetence.
Please avoid this company at all costs.
I am not able to review my daughter’s annual statement because we now live outside Canada. Ridiculous. Have you never dealt with customers moving from Canada.
And the customer service. Complete embarrassment. You really need to start from scratch.

Erika Quiroz did a fantastic job in making sure, I understand the plan and it the best one that suits to my preferences. Moreover, she make sure I got all the bonuses. I reschedule the meetings a couple of times but she always greet me with a big and warm smile. Overall, my experience with her was great.
