Excellent customer service
We had a great experience traveling in a nice RV, though it had a few issues that we managed to resolve during the trip by staying in touch with their customer service team, allowing us to complete our tour and enjoy the journey. When we returned the RV, we pointed out the issues with the vehicle, and they provided us with satisfactory financial compensation. I recommend using El Monte RV’s services, but be sure to spend a few minutes before departure to check that everything is in order.

De medewerker van het verhuurbedrijf was niet geïnteresseerd in oplossingen bedenken voor problemen.
Het bed in de RV was erg slecht, we lagen in een kuil!
Het aanrechtblad was helemaal kapot, dit kan echt niet.
Verder geen problemen.

not worth the money
No shuttle, uninterested guy who did the tour around the rv. Camper was worn out, window shutters did not close. Engine bay makes lot of noise in the interior.No proper sleeping material. one small blanket and a very small cushion is not enough for the money you pay to rent it.
Not willing to think with us about discount or anything when something was wrong with the rv on the first day and we had to stay at a workshop for the night.. So this did cost us an extra day and we had to reschedule our trip reservations. The person who helped us returning the rv was not so friendly nor helpful. Convinced of his own right, although reality was different.

Highly greedy company
Highly greedy company, I was forced return the RV the very next morning for health reasons, explained everything in a very detailed way, and they refused to refund any money. In a nutshell I kept the RV overnight, probably drove it 10 miles, didn’t use any of the amenities, and was charged $1600.00 what a shame!!!

It was my first time with the rental an RV, I had good experience with all the information and it was easy the check in and check out of the RV. The prices are still high and some prices a bit to high like the inclusion of prices for check out and check in, is good to include prices but not that high.

We rented a camper in August 2026
We rented a camper in August 2026. Once we were on the road, we noticed a leak under the sink that had been plugged with toilet paper. Fortunately, we were able to fix it ourselves, but the fact that they didn't inspect and return the camper in that condition is not appreciated at all. We also had problems right from the start with the direct water supply; if we connected the toilet, it would fill up with water. For these reasons, I consider the rental to be unprofessional.

Overall, we had a great experience and everything went very well. The RV was comfortable and we really enjoyed our trip. The only issue we had was with the fresh water supply. We spent one night at a campground with a city water hookup, so we didn’t use the RV’s fresh water tank. When we moved to another campground without a water hookup, we started using the water from the RV’s tank, but unfortunately, it ran out in less than a day. Other than that, everything was great and we had a wonderful experience.

Everything went smoothly right from the moment we picked up the RV. We were well informed and briefed, so getting started was a breeze.
The RV was clean and in good condition. It was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The Ford E350 takes some getting used to for European drivers and uses a lot of gas, but it’s also fun to drive this V8 Monster.

El Monte RV Rental exceeded every single expectation we had for our road trip. From start to finish, the entire experience was nothing short of amazing.
The pickup process was smooth, efficient, and wonderfully handled. As for the motorhome itself, it completely blew us away—everything felt brand new and was kept in immaculate, pristine condition.
Customer service throughout the journey was truly flawless. When we unfortunately had a minor accident along the way, they didn't try to play games or wiggle out of responsibility; they immediately assured us that the insurance covered everything without any hassle. On top of that, without us even asking, they proactively decided to issue a refund equivalent to a full day’s rental to compensate for a few minor hiccups we experienced on the road.
I recommend them wholeheartedly and without hesitation

poor quality-price ratio
Not completely satisfied with the choice made on an El Monte rental brand (and for the cost incurred), I expected a perfect camper, but instead there were a series of problems, drawers that did not close (already poorly repaired), cupboard doors that opened during the trip, window blinds not in perfect efficiency, so-so cutlery/kitchen utensils supply, missing some things (tea towels, sheets) that we had not noticed when collecting the vehicle. I am not a camping novice, I have over 30 years of experience, I am the owner of a caravan in Italy, and I have rented campers in various parts of the world, so I can say that these problems are partly due to poor maintenance.
