No aftersales support whatsoever - AVOID AVOID AVOID
I ordered two batteries from this company through an advert on eBay 3rd Dec 2024. I paid for the goods promptly. Electropapa sent the parcel via GLS, who it turns out, thinks the UK is somewhere in France. I say this because my parcel spent the last week zig-zagging back and forth across France.
Today, 13th Dec 2024, when I contacted Electropapa, they replied to several messages in such a way as to make it clear they were simply not bothered.
After the messages, they finally agreed to recall the parcel, but instead of instantly shipping a replacement through another courier, they instead suggested I should reorder, and repay for the goods, promising they would then refund me for the first order when the goods were returned to them; by GLS who clearly don't know the difference between France and the UK!!!
If you are still in any doubt as to whether you should use or avoid this company, then check out their negative feedback on eBay, and see for yourself what you can expect when things go wrong. Do not just assume it will not happen to you.
I have applied for a refund, and as the purchase was protected by eBay, hope I will get it soon. In the meantime I still have no batteries, and as a result can not use my drill which they were for, which is more than just inconvenient.
Companies like this are destroying the online sales platform slowly but surely. Distance purchasing, like no other form of sales, is reliant on trust, and aftersales service. Which are not in evidence here...
