My experience with Elanic Clinic and Hospital was extremely frustrating and disappointing from start to finish.
My gallbladder removal surgery was originally scheduled for 19/02/2026 at 11:45, but it was cancelled without any clear explanation. It was then rescheduled for 14/03/2026 at 09:15. On the morning of the surgery, at around 08:00, I was informed that the procedure would be delayed until midnight due to a “blood fridge issue.” While I initially tried to be understanding, the surgery was later cancelled again that same day for the same reason.
The procedure was then rescheduled for 16/03/2026 at 12:00, but this appointment was also cancelled on the day. After multiple cancellations, wasted preparation, and several unnecessary days off work, the surgery finally took place on 30/03/2026. As someone working full-time, repeatedly taking sick days for cancelled procedures caused significant inconvenience and stress.
Unfortunately, the issues did not end once the surgery was completed. The nurse assigned to me during my stay was largely unhelpful and provided very little guidance. I had to ask most of the questions myself and was not given clear post-operative instructions. For example, I was never informed that I was supposed to keep my compression socks on after the procedure.
The follow-up appointment was also poorly handled. It was initially scheduled for 07/03/2026 but cancelled the day before and rescheduled again. When I eventually attended the appointment, I saw the same nurse who barely communicated, did not ask how I was feeling, and simply focused on removing the dressings. I had to initiate the conversation myself just to confirm whether everything was healing properly.
Overall, the level of organisation, communication, and patient care I experienced at Elanic Clinic and Hospital was extremely poor. The repeated last-minute cancellations, lack of clear communication, and minimal post-operative support made what was already a stressful medical situation far more difficult than it needed to be.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic to anyone expecting reliable scheduling, professional communication, or attentive patient care.

I have been lucky not to have any issues with my recovery but any questions I’ve had along the journey have been answered quickly by the nursing team who are all lovely. The difference this has made to my confidence is amazing and I only wish I’d done it sooner. I would highly recommend Elanic and my surgeon Stipo Matic if you’re considering cosmetic surgery.

After consideration, I had emailed the clinic asking them for prices to get the operation done. My son is in Glasgow at university and I would have taken time away from my business to accompany him down.
The response that I got tonight was they would not be able to cope with my husbands needs after the operation. To be honest, I found that reply utterly disgusting. He is not mentally disabled, just a person who is in pain who needs help to get an operation quickly. Having fought for his country which has left him with the health issues that he has, you would have thought that the clinic would have been happy to help. Obviously not. Poor show on your part and
not a good way to run a business.

Warm welcome at Elanic. I was really nervous going to my very first consultation appointment, I really didn't know what to expect It went better than I imagined in my head. Vivek my surgeon talked everything through with me, what I wanted & what I didn't like. Areas that bother me. What he could do. His manner is really relaxing and reassuring. Vivek brings a calming effect when he talks and a big smile, which helped me get over my nerves.
Free Consultation last 1hr. Photographs 3D Vectra Machine and measurements all taken. I felt I had all the information and was able to ask questions with ease.
There was no pressure to book it straight away.
Fast forward to September this year. I had Abdominal Surgery (tummy tuck) With 360 vaser lipo.
I was in and out same day, appointments weekly, can call anytime to speak with the nursing team book appointments if you want one. Nursing team are amazing and really do look after you. You definitely feel safe and cared for every step of the way. It was quite a surreal feeling afterwards, vulnerable with people very attentive and putting you first. I enjoyed the special treatment.
I haven't experienced that in a hospital setting but they really do have the bar raised.
I cannot fault them at all.
All my needs were taking care of and I looked forward to going to see them each week. Getting my dressings changed.
I am just over 3 months post op and I wish I done this years ago. My scar is great, I have healed really well with no issues.
I cant believe how small my waist actually is, I have a flat stomach. (previous C-sections) I can wear jeans,leggings, swimwear without the overthinking. It really looks amazing without sounding big headed. I have more confidence in what I'm buying now.
He really has totally transformed my life. I genuinely don't have anything negative to say about Elanic.
I had a really great experience, hospital is Spotless, staff all look after you and are polite & kind.
The morning of my surgery everyone was on the ball, I was asked the same list of questions by 3 different staff nurses which I liked as they were being thorough making sure there was no room for any mistakes. Attention to detail is up there for me. Photographs were taken then Vivek came round to see me before theater which I liked. I followed my instructions correctly for post op and I rested for the first 2 weeks. Worst part is how often you need to get up for Pee. I'm genuinely so glad I decided to stay at home (Glasgow) for my surgery and book with Elanic instead of going abroad for a cheaper price. You get what you pay for at the end of the day. Thankfully I had no issues in my 6 week recovery but imagine if it didn't go that way and your home needing to go back. For me personally its just not worth the risk.
My review was 3 months after my surgery with Vivek. He was pleased also. You really do feel supported. All is well.
I am Very Happy with my outcome.
I got 5 ⭐️ treatment and I have already had my consultation & I booked my 2nd Part of my surgery for my new boobs and I cannot wait.

My initial knee replacement consultation was detailed and informative and all my questions and queries were answered with full professionalism. Any doubts I had about going through with the procedure were replaced with total confidence that I was indeed doing the right thing. On the day of the operation the consultant and the anaesthetist both spoke to me prior to operating which eased the process for me. The Elanic staff were amazing while in recovery overnight and looked after me so well, as did the physio staff and not forgetting the nursing staff when I got my stitches out. I’m 6 weeks recovering and already this has made a fantastic difference to my life. I honestly cannot fault the attention and care I have received and would recommend anyone needing a knee replacement to choose Elanic - I’m very happy I chose Elanic

World class experience from start to finish for my Otoplasty operation. Professor Maen Al-Aissami performed my op. I was terrified as I had it done on the NHS at 16YO (now 46) and back then it was botched and absolute agony. I am so delighted to say this experience was the opposite. All staff put me at ease and it all went perfectly. After care was the gold standard of customer experience. If you are reading this trying to decide if you will get your thing done or not, just do it! Its the best thing I ever done. I now have peace and can smile when i look in the mirror :) Thank you!

I am just home from surgery today (mummy makeover) and have had an incredible experience. I went with Dr Stipo Matic who is such an expert and so brilliant at what he does - I knew I was in safe hands with him from day 1. During the consultation he was easy to talk to, I felt so comfortable with him. He met all of my expectations and everything I had in mind - he just really hit the nail on the head with everything and gave me clear explanations. Also, Candice is so lovely - she went above and beyond for me and is brilliant at her job. I had previously booked this surgery through a different company and was messed around and let down - but my experience with Candice was such a stark difference! You can tell she really cares about her patients.
When I arrived at Elanic Hospital this morning I was really nervous, but my nurse Louise was a true god send. I told her all my worries and she really put my mind at ease. She looked after me with so much care I felt like I was being looked after by my mum! I really really can’t thank her enough, I wish I could’ve taken her home! Her and Amy looked after me in recovery and they were just amazing, I felt like I’d known them forever! Thanks again for making my experience so amazing.
Before surgery the staff gave thorough explanations of what was going to happen - I spent a while with Stipo while he done the drawings/photos and worked his magic. I just want to reiterate how comfortable I felt - I fully trusted he was going to do an amazing job. When I went into theatre, every single member of staff were so welcoming, they all had a smile on their face and made me feel at home - in the end I wasn’t nervous at all! I have only seen a picture of my results so far and I was so happy I could’ve cried.
I travelled by car to Elanic from Carlisle and it was so easy to find (from someone who is not street smart in the slightest and gets lost all the time) the car parking is convenient and cheap there was no fuss at all. I pre booked the car parking online and used the discount code which made it even easier!
If you’re thinking about surgery I would 100% recommend them, I couldn’t have wished for anything better.

Communication with the staff has always been amazing, everyone is so kind, welcoming and supportive, and you feel looked after the whole way through.
Vivek truly works magic and is completely at the top of his game. He is so knowledgeable, professional and talented, and you can tell straight away you’re in the best hands. He’s also very straight to the point, gives the best and most honest advice about what will suit you and your body, and makes sure you feel comfortable and confident in every decision. He honestly has the perfect balance so talented and knowledgeable, but also funny and down to earth, which makes such a difference when you’re nervous.

Company took full payment for surgery- then cancelled the surgery on the day of the appointment. According to their own terms and conditions, when they cancel the full amount is refundable. They then ghosted the patient and only returned the money 6 months later after solicitors were involved. Avoid these people at all costs. There is a better known quality private healthcare facility locally (starts with RH) use them.
I’m a 37-year-old woman and wanted a fresher, more youthful look without appearing “done.” I had an upper blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow lift and fat transfer at Elanic, and I am genuinely over the moon with the results.
I previously had a breast augmentation with Vivek around four years ago, and I knew that if anyone was ever going to touch my face, it was going to be him.
I went for consultations around five times before going ahead, and throughout the entire process he was endlessly patient, reassuring, and professional — taking the time to talk me through everything without ever rushing me. That level of care is honestly unheard of.
The results are incredibly natural — I look more rested, refreshed, and younger which was the goal, and it’s exactly what I wanted.
The nursing team were fantastic and put me completely at ease, and the reception staff are always welcoming.
I couldn’t be happier with my results. If you’re considering anything facial, breast surgery, or anything in between, Vivek is your man — I highly recommend.

Pre Appointments amazing
Paid in full then on the day of surgery appointment times kept changing on the run Upto my surgery the day before. Vivek was amazing. But as for aftercare shocking giving how much they charge. It’s sad to say afterwards what your pre told is not followed through in there aftercare.
Place is an absolute disaster waiting to happen only nice and friendly when taking your money

I had a breast reduction and implant at ELANIC in May 2025. From the start, things went wrong — my first surgery was cancelled because staff had forgotten to order my implants. I was already at clinic and prepped for surgery .. could here staff and surgeon arguing in corridor. They rescheduled procedure, I warned them weekly that my wound wasn’t healing, but was told it was fine. By week five, my breast was swollen to double size, I had a high fever, was freezing, struggling to breathe, and had to crawl to my husband for help. I ended up in hospital with sepsis and lost an implant.
My complaints were ignored or mishandled, key call records and photos are missing from my SAR, and I’ve had no reply from the Managing Director or Clinical the Manager. ELANIC deleted my public post and blocked me. I’ve been left disfigured, traumatised, and bed-bound most days since June. I just want accountability — and my life back
There is so much more to story than trust pilot will allow me at moment but elanic seem to think that revising surgery at end of month is a fix. I barely get out of bed
I’ve no intimacy with husband. I’m exhausted all the time. I’m in panic mode every day all day. I miss out on all activities with my children. Including even being present at a meal time.i avoid anything social. I watched my husband cry for first time in our relationship when I was in hospital. The worry on my children’s faces. The depression
. I could quite honestly say I’ve considered just dying and yet the audacity of staff to have the positions they do with no contact whatsoever is abhorrent.
After being ignored, I used an old email and contacted elanic on same info@ that I’d always being contacting and I posed as a new client. I had contact within ten minutes. Yet still nothing when contact as myself. I pre warned them that if no contact from by yesterday then I’d be putting my experience including photo evidence online. They still didn’t contact. But within seconds of my carrying out what u said I would they had removed and blocked me. Still no contact. They only show interest when it’s a sale.
I emailed ELANIC asking for urgent assistance, but no one picked up the message. I then called four times in one day, explaining my symptoms and how unwell I felt. Each time, I was told the nurses were busy and that someone would call me back.
By the time they finally did, it was around 4:30 PM, and I was already at the A&E emergency entrance, convinced I was dying. I was immediately admitted to hospital and diagnosed with sepsis. A swab from my breast confirmed infection, and I was told that if I’d waited 12 more hours, I might not have survived.
I spent 10 days in hospital on five intravenous antibiotics. One of my implants had to be removed by the NHS, as they could only perform emergency treatment — not cosmetic repair. The surgeon at ELANIC did not contact the hospital for four days, despite knowing my condition.
The aftercare team has been appalling — unresponsive, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. While I was still in hospital, one receptionist told my husband, “Don’t worry, we’ll just give her a prosthetic boob and a bra until she’s better.” That kind of comment is unforgivable when someone is fighting sepsis.
I raised a formal complaint (Stage 1), but it was mishandled completely. The Deputy Clinical Manager claimed she didn’t realise it was a formal complaint — even though my email was titled “Formal Complaint.” It took 40 days instead of 20 to get a reply, and the response was completely inadequate
The Deputy Clinical Manager once told me that “the staff at ELANIC didn’t want to see me again,” which left me crushed. When I confronted her later, she denied it. But when my SAR report arrived, that statement was right there in black and white.
I escalated to a Stage 2 complaint, addressed to Managing Director and sent it 56 working days ago. I have had no acknowledgement, no reply, and no update. Every email since has been ignored.
I’ve of course been offered revision and its schedules in but I’m terrified, uneasy and traumatised. How am I meant to go through with revision. How am I meant to live looking like this either. My original thinking was I have no issues with surgeon it’s aftercare negligence but since that surgeon also owns the clinic then at this stage he is also complicit to the entire service not had to date.
Update: have since spoken to clinical manger who said they’d give me direct email for future use. Still waiting. Still waiting on the missing sars and still waiting on them confirming when the complaint will be completed because no one will say when the 60 day period to do so started. Of course it’s well over it but still the transparency would be great.
