Well where do I start 😊. Let's say I didn't get off to the best start when it came to looking at selling my home. My home was on the market with a different estate agent and I felt I was getting nowhere with it. I didn't go to Edward Mellor to begin with as I sold my previous home with this other estate agent company so through it would be straightforward. Nottttttt. I called Edward mellor less than two weeks ago and from the word hello I felt at ease. I spoke to Hollie Moore in the Woodley branch and she was so accommodating to my needs and really took the time to listen to my selling experience so far . She reassured me and went through everything so thoroughly. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed and all of staff I have spoken to have just been outstanding. Thank you Hollie, Amber and Gemma (sorry if I missed any names) but you are all an amazing team and after just a week a buyer has purchased my home. Hollie gave great advice on the value and was extremely professional active when going get photos. Over 40 photos taken and Hollie showed the property in near enough every angle possible. The write up of my house was a true reflection of the property and Hollie mentioned all the great features my house has to offer and who it would be suitable for potentially. Hollie gave great advice regarding me coming off right move and from the previous agent to going on again with a new agency and every question was answered in a way I understand so nothing was overwhelming. Hollie really does know her stuff and the team work great together .Thank you and I'm really enjoying the whole experience with you. If I could leave a zero review , I would. Please do not use them unless if you want to create problems for yourself. I was renting my property and cannot get it back, because of Edward Mellor unprofessionalism and mismanagement. They are always right, covering their faults but in reality do not know what they are doing. They cannot even serve a proper notice to the tenant! Unprofessional and horrible people ! Constantly lie and clearly it is in their work ethics. My tenant does not want to talk to them (talks to me) because he thinks that they are stupid and the worse agency ! And it is completely true ! Avoid !

Had a really easy and smooth experience with Einar Perdomo and Team. Really happy with the service I got.

We received an unacceptable and factually inaccurate Survey report that has resulted in a significant waste of our time. Edward Mellor Surveyors conducted a Level 3 survey of our home for our buyers, and the surveyor, William Moss, fabricated information about the building work we completed. He failed to consult us about the actual work done and wrongly claimed that we had no damp proofing and no lintel over the new back doors. His assertion that brickwork was removed when it was actually added is completely false.

Moreover, Mr. Moss had gone out of his way to gain a quote of £12,000 to "redo" the work without even investigating what had been done or reviewing the building regulation certificate we possess. This erroneous information has unnecessarily alarmed our buyers, leading him to mistakenly suggest a reduction in the asking price for nonexistent issues. His claims are nothing but baseless guesswork.

Additionally, he incorrectly noted that the chimney stack was "shared with the adjoining property," despite our home being detached. This pattern of discrepancies is wholly unacceptable and has compelled us to file a formal complaint against Mr. Moss. This situation has caused us significant distress and wasted a great deal of time for many individuals involved. We demand accountability for these inaccuracies.

Having a good experience with Edward Mellor estate agents. Elinar was straight forward, professional and helpful from the start. Kim, Beth and Natalie were always more than helpful, professional and understanding on the phone or via email with viewings and offers.
Made selling alot easier and stress free.
Have been transferred to Christian in the team until process is all complete and he has also been helpful.

Zero rating. Almost 8 months wait from buyer of my house only for it to fall through on the 2nd completion date in which the buyer did not have the funds to pay for the house! (Why was this not evidenced at the beginning?) (LEVENSHULME BRANCH) Then only to find out no contracts had been signed so no penalty for the buyer. I emailed the Levenshulme branch asking for answers and they did not reply. They never call you back when they say they will, poor communication skills and poor customer service.

Einar Perdomo and his team were professional from from the start. The estimated sale value was incredibly accurate. They guided us through a sale by auction, advised on solicitors and kept is informed throughout. We were 60 miles away from where the property being sold and the team were extremely supportive. Ajob well done.

Rented for nearly six years - property full of damp and mould and in need of major repairs. No maintenance for over four years!
Did nothing to help, and suing landlord hampered as they do not keep proper records...

I got a level 3 building survey done through Edward Mellor and I have to say everything from start to finish was superb. The survey was done very promptly, with the report following after coming within 3-5 days. My building survey was done by Martin J Mellor, he was absolutely brilliant. He left me with a very comprehensive survey report and even took time out to go through the report with me over the phone, i would absolutely recommend him for anyone that is looking to get a building survey done.

The branch in Hyde is doing an excellent services in helping customer finding a house. Special thanks to their staff Gabriella Roberts, she is nice and responsive, all the questions that I asked are replied instantly. She also helps me to arrange a good time with the seller. Big thank you to all.

I bought my house with Edward Mellor about 9 years ago and now I am going to sell it I met with Einar Perdomo he is a nice person and a nice photographer he explained everything very nicely and clearly and professionally about my property I highly recommend if anyone wants to sell his house in Manchester call Edward Mellor and ask about Einar Perdomo and Team highly recommended 👍

Fantastic experience so far with the Edgeley office and especially Kath.
We are selling our house in Stockport and I made the mistake of first going with an agent in Cheadle who had better reviews online and yet ended up terrible. I called Kath who had come to value my house, in a DAY she had pictures sorted, brochure made and ad up and running with stunning photographs. Her eye for detail, and her knowledge of the field is unmatched. She was also so nice, easy to talk to and you can tell she loves her job.
The only regret I have is not to have

I wanted to view a property in longsight manchester. I spoke to to ladies there and they told me to provide "mortgage agreement" before they can let me view the property.after i send them the agreement then they ll get back to me..I was a bit surprised. But then i sent them my agreement to them..and now its more than three weeks...since then they never got back to me.
