Brilliant experience from pre op to operation itself staff and doctors were absolutely brilliant could not be any happier regarding the way l was looked after by everyone at the clinic

Referred for cataract surgery by my optician. Delayed by Covid-19 but once Clinic reopened things moved quickly. I had an online consultation with a consultant (Dr Tint) followed by a face-to-face (or mask-to-mask!) assessment, booked the surgery and had the procedure all within five weeks. Outcome has been excellent. All the staff I dealt with were helpful. The consultant was professional and businesslike but very pleasant, easy to talk to and reassuring. Only glitch concerned the online consultation - I found out about two minutes before it was due that Apple Safari does not support Microsoft Teams. This should have been flagged in the Patient Guidance.

I had full spinal MRI today at the Edinburgh Clinic. I get claustrophobic easily during MRI scans however the Radiographers at the Edinburgh Clinic are extremely kind and patient and know exactly what to do when you are feeling anxious. A special thank you to Kathy Radiographer for being so kind I’ve met her at two of my MRIs recently and she has been nothing but kind and caring towards me at both appointments.

First class from start to finish. All started with an email - the girls on the desk quickly responded and booked me in.
The Doctor was extremely helpful and explained exactly how the procedure would go made me feel at ease.
Small Removal - took about 30 mins start to finish.

Returned for the stitches to be taken out and the nurse was extremely pleasant and gentle. Took to time to ensure i was comfortable and that i was okay throughout.

Amazing cant recommend enough.

Cannot fault anything about this Clinic, my consultation with Mr John McKinley,my pre med + finally my operation yesterday,each + every member of staff within the Clinic are second to none,all staff are a credit to the Clinic, very caring and understanding from start to finish,i was looked after in every way possible,also extra special praise to John,thank you all so much.

The medical personnel were all very professional and willing to answer my questions and concerns. The cataract procedures(s) themselves were executed competently, and follow-up checks were reassuring. Excellent outcome.

I have had two types of treatment here in the past few months, and would strongly recommend it - the staff are efficient and caring, and the equipment state-of-the-art. Access to a wide range of consultants is available.

Clinically, the service is great. But don’t try to get an estimate or an itemised bill, because it’s beyond their level of competency. I asked four times for an estimate of fees and it hasn’t yet arrived. When I take my car to the garage or my dog to the vets, I get an estimate and an itemised invoice. Even the dentist does it! But not Edinburgh Clinic. It makes you feel there’s some sort of dodge going on with the insurance company.

Went for a Scan Plus (medical scan). First impressions - a big, bright, very clean environment with welcoming staff - I didn't have long to wait to be seen. Extremely thorough process, including (amongst others) a full MRI scan which was on site and follow up meeting with their GP to go through test results. Very impressed with the setup - would recommend this process and facility to anyone

Told to arrive at 715,as was everyone else scheduled for yesterday.
This resulted in being on site for around 9 hours.
Can't fault any off the nursing staff though, they were attentive and professional through.

I was given great, first class service by knowledgeable friendly staff right from my arrival. Surgery procedure and aftercare was spot on.
All in all, they made a difficult day a lot easier. Thanks to you all.

I have used other private health care providers in the past however I found the overall level of service and care at The Edinburgh Clinic to be exceptional. I presented with severe pain in my right knee.

Following an initial consultation and MRI scan, my Consultant (Mr White) advised on the options open to me and we agreed that the most appropriate treatment for me was to have an Anthroscopy. I have now had the procedure and am incredibly impressed and pleased with the results achieved.

I cannot praise enough the overall level of service and patient care I received. The facilities were excellent and the people / team were all very professional and caring. What stood out for me was the personal service provided.

I have no hesitation in recommending The Edinburgh Clinic.

I had lens replacement surgery at the Edinburgh Clinic and cannot praise the team highly enough. From the initial consultation through the procedure to my follow up check up, the staff couldn't do enough for me. The Clinic is relatively small and so you are treated as a person and not a number. The initial consultation was thorough and explained all of the potential complications with the procedure, so I felt completely informed and relaxed about proceeding. The procedure itself took around 20 minutes and was incredibly relaxing. Within 36 hours my vision was better than I can ever remember it being. I've recommended the Clinic to a number of friends and hope that they find the procedure as life changing as I did

I cannot rate highly enough the quality of provision across the board at this hospital. There was unmatched kindness, consideration and skill at every level. Dr. Raza, you walk on water. The work you performed on my varicose veins, the patience you displayed with my endless concerns and the pre and post surgery support is exemplary. Dr. McGregor, anaesthetist, was so kind and clearly highly skilled as I had no sense of going under or coming back out in any negative way whatsoever. Indeed, it was so smooth, I felt bright and relaxed throughout. I cannot thank you both enough and all of the team. I have M.E. and suggest to folks not to read all the scaremongering stuff in advance (even though I sent it and it was clearly given attention!), but just to trust to the exceptional care and expertise at the Edinburgh Clinic. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I attended The Edinburgh Clinic with a problem in my right shoulder which had been identified as "shoulder impingement". This was diagnosed fully by Dr Carrie McCrea-Routry and traced to inflammation and changes in my supraspinatus tendon.

Due to work commitments I had a limited time to have this issue resolved however it only took 2 days from the initial consultation to my shoulder injury being sorted.

Since having an injection to rectify the problem my shoulder now feels better than it has done in months. The range of movement has fully returned and when I wake in the morning, there is very little pain and discomfort felt; a dramatic change from before.

The process from making the appointment, having a consultation, MRI scan and then the injection was seamless and carried out in a professional manner by all involved.

This is an excellent clinic with a beautiful interior and exemplary facilities from what I saw. The actual procedure of having the injection went very well. I am not a fan of needles however the doctor carrying out the procedure was very re-assuring and talked me everything which really settled my nerves.

I highly recommend The Edinburgh Clinic based on the experience that I have had with them.

I had the most flawless experience recently at The Edinburgh Clinic regarding a CT scan. Upon arrival you instantly feel comfortable in the clinic thanks to the calm atmosphere and beautiful interior! I am so used to NHS standards that this just felt like a dream. My radiographer, Lindsay Lumsden was incredible - she made me feel so relaxed and answered all of my questions without me having to even ask them in the first place! I felt comfortable all the way through my scan and thats even with the dye I had to have injected for my scan. Thank you so much to all at Edinburgh Clinic and in particular Lindsay! :)

Excellent care with friendly staff and doctors, I had virtually no waiting time and excellent friendly doctor in doctor Cohen who provided a very thorough and professional consultation following my mri scan and check up, would highly recommend

I had an epiretinal membrane on my left eye which was causing significant visual distortion. I could not wait for treatment under the NHS and was referred to Dr Singh at the Edinburgh Clinic.
Dr Singh was very careful and calming. He carried out an operation to remove the membrane which lasted for an hour and a quarter. The operation seems to have been entirely successful. I now have now detectable visual distortion and my eye sight is effectively perfect.
I am most grateful to Dr Singh and his team. I will be most happy to recommend them in future if asked.

I attended for an MRI scan and review with a consultant last year. The whole experience from booking my appointment through to the scan itself and reassurance from the consultant was absolutely fantastic. I can only commend the clinic for providing such an excellent service.
