their parts are good but forget about getting thru to them on the phone they are the worst. Jegs, summit, speedway all answer their phones.

In shoGhosted!! but what really bothered me was blowing me off with false information, that would make my truck illegalrt
In short, I was Ghosted!! but what really bothered me was blowing me off with false information, that would make my truck illegal. After 2 emails... I emailed Edelbrock to ask if they made custom intake manifolds because I would like a street legal MPFI performance system for my 1996 Chevy Silverado, which stock has the under the plenum MPFI stem which have terrible performance with the stock distributor that can't be advanced... (plus high failure rate as well) Their know for leaking gas down into your oil and taking out the main bearings.. Anyways back to Edelbrock Rep., of course I was told No. (But I didn't think it hurt to ask) I told the rep. I could get thousands of requests from the 96 -99 OBS truck owners because there are literally thousands of us wanting a legal fuel system that doesn't constantly break down and has better performance. Then She sent a second email stating wrong information that the 1988 -1995 TBI manifold for vortec heads with EGR would work for 1996 - 2000 OBS trucks which, would not work at all with our 96 -99. Sure they will bolt on the heads... but not work with the 96 -99 OBS computer because TBI only has 2 injectors where 96 -99 computer controls 8 injectors. and putting a separate computer and for a TBI throttle body wouldn't work with anything else, like shifting the transmission, controlling the electronic EGR because 88 -95 had vacuum EGR not Electronic EGR. Not even mentioning the needed vacuum ports and MAP sensor needed. You wouldn't be able to control the older style IAC and doubt it would control the TPS paramotors on a TBI either... certainly not keeping it legal. Then I was ghosted when I explained this to the rep. I guess they are making too much money to waste their time with simple conversions in email that would potentially make them thousands of dollars helping the 96 -99 OBS community you see at hundreds of truck shows and all over the internet... thanks for taking the time to read this.. and Fellow OBS 96 -99 owner - Please.. get the word out. Thanks...
Stay VERY far away from Edelbrock !!
I purchased a Pro flo 4 for my LS3, first the kit came WITHOUT the ECU! they did send out an ECU but I have been holding now for over 2hrs to just ask 1 Tech question! I am ready to and may be sending this back to Edelbrock very soon since you cannot get in touch with anyone to answer a question that should be answered in there limited instructions but isnt!

Waited 30 minutes just for him to hang up on me or got disconnected. Either way I’m pretty upset about it and just going to have to figure out the issue myself because I’m not wasting my time on them again.

Transferred 5 times only to get disconnected again, come on, the once great service and tech is long gone, so am I
Companies a joke
Companies a joke. You stay on hold for hours to be transferred to voice mail. Order a fule pump. They my money without a giving a tracking number or email confirmation. And you can ever get ahold of anyone on the phone. Stay away edelbrock service and parts went down hill.
I wanted to give Edelbrock my money...
I wanted to give Edelbrock some of my money - they sell transmission controllers. I wrote to them and asked if they had a controller that worked for my transmission, and provided details. The first response was, basically, "email this other department within Edelbrock". Why couldn't they forward my request? Anyway, I emailed the other guys, and got this response:
TC #36212
It supports GM 4L60E, 4L70E, 4L75E, (up to 2010).
The response didn't answer my question. I'm not even sure if they meant that their controller would work or that it wouldn't. It did help me make a decision though!
Need better customer service techs
This company is a joke been buying carbs from them a long time, now I can't get thru to the techs, for 3 days straight, 30 minutes each day, that s bad customer service, buying my carbs from holley from now on,they at least answer the phone
customer service does not respond adequately
I have asked questions about mounting their fuel pump upside down 4 or 5 times but do not get a satisfactory answer. In one answer the rep wrote that it is OK to mount the fuel pump upside down or sideways as long as it sits below the liquid. I did that and the pump failed after 90 miles. On the internet, I saw that electric fuel pumps must be mounted upright. I reported that to the Edelbrock rep and asked to make sure that mounting upside down is OK. I never got a satisfactory answer and it seems they avoid answering my questions. Trying to call them on the telephone is totally useless because all I get is promotional messages but no rep will answer the phone
I am a very happy customer
