First and foremost, we are one of the UK's biggest, best and most diverse fashion modelling agencies and so we do not really care about negative reviews. Here are the reasons why we are that good of an agency:

1. We have received numerous positive reviews and maintain strong relationships within the industry. While we recognize that not everyone will be satisfied, the overwhelming majority of our models have had positive experiences.

2. As a fully Government regulated and controlled fashion agency, we operate with complete transparency. Our practices, contracts, model payments, and overall operations are overseen by regulatory bodies. If we were engaged in unethical or fraudulent activities, we would not be allowed to operate.

3. Our Instagram showcase the esteemed companies we work with, demonstrating our credibility within the fashion industry.

4. Every model accepted into our agency receives two professional photoshoots with images airbrushed and retouched in Milan, Italy, a professional video reel, and catwalk training from an experienced model with international runway experience. These benefits are guaranteed, and we encourage anyone interested to visit us and see for themselves.

5. Some negative posts label us as a scam without providing any specific details or evidence. In many cases, these claims stem from misunderstandings or unrealistic expectations.

6. We charge a refundable security deposit starting from £100. This deposit is returned to models who follow our simple guidelines. If any model has followed the rules and not received their refund, we welcome them to come forward with their name so we can address the issue.

However, it appears there may be some misunderstandings regarding our process:

1. As an aspiring model, it's crucial to stay informed by reading all communications from us. When we provide you with details about a job via email, it's essential that you review this information carefully. Failing to do so can lead to situations where the client sends you home due to unpreparedness. It is important to recognize that this is not the agency's or the client's fault.

2. Regarding the request for a review in exchange for photos taken during your session (30-40 images in total), please understand that our photographers are compensated with salaries for their work. It is reasonable for us to ask for something in return when providing these free pictures.

3. You have referred to us as a scam without specifying how or why you feel this way. You expect us to accept you as a model, invest up to £3000 into you to get your career off the ground but you don't expect to put anything down your side to minimize our risk. Additionally, we are a Government-regulated agency; making fraudulent activity impossible. This can be easily verified through Government resources.

If you count us investing up to £3000 into you which includes professional retouching of photos, video reel, and training—essentially offering significant value at a minimal cost of £100 (which gets refunded to you), to be a "scam," then we respectfully suggest that our agency may not be the right fit for you. We wish you the best in your pursuit of your modelling aspirations.

1. Please note that we are a government-regulated organisation, which means that all our contracts and operations are overseen and approved by the relevant authorities.
2. This also includes oversight of where funds are allocated.
3. Ultimately, the allocation of funds does not impact you, as long as you adhere to our simple guidelines. Regardless of how the funds are utilised, you will receive your deposit back upon compliance with these rules.
4. As part of our services, we provided you with a free portfolio shoot. We trust that you received the photos; however, if this is not the case, we are more than happy to resend them to you. Please be assured that our focus is not on your money, but rather on ensuring that all our models are treated fairly and equally.
5. We regret that you have not secured as much work as you had hoped. From the outset, we have been transparent in stating that, much like actors, no model with any agency is guaranteed work. This is because we do not control the hiring decisions of clients. To mitigate this, we offer a refund of your deposit provided you comply with the straightforward rules outlined in your agreement. Should you have failed to meet the requirements, you are welcome to complete another year, adhere to the rules, and secure your deposit refund.

The agency you are referring to, YUMM, operated at these premises long before we took over. Unfortunately, we have no connection to them, nor do we have information about their current status or whether they still exist. It is unfair to attribute their actions to us, and we kindly ask that you reconsider any disparaging remarks about our agency based on their past conduct.

To address a question we’ve received from others: the reason we chose to operate from this location is simple—the premises were already set up for a model agency, making it a practical choice for us.

We would like to unequivocally assure you that we operate at a much higher standard than the previous agency ever did. We are very sorry to hear about your child, but we do have rules regardless on who the model is or indeed, their age. No model is ever forced to do anything they do not wish to do and we are certainly NOT encouraged to upsell anything/ because we are government regulated. We said we would happily refund the money you paid for your child but you had to stay with us another year and follow our rules, but you have chosen not to. Instead, you have come on here to complain and loose all the money you have paid. Your money. Your choice. What you haven't told people is that you got a lot of professional airbrushed pictures from us and also a top video reel but that's all fine.

We do not think that some people realise that we are FULL GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED FASHION MODELLING AGENCY. This means we are required to do everything by the books and in doing so, some models are not happy with the way we work but we do not care. If we were remotely a bad agency the government would have closed us down by now given all the complaints, they may have received.

Below, we have outlined several key points for your consideration:
1. Adherence to Rules: While there may be models who inadvertently violate our terms, it is important to note that such issues are not a result of any wrongdoing on our part. In such cases, while individuals may wish to pursue legal action, we remain confident in our compliance with all legal and professional standards.

2. Guaranteed Services:
We offer all our models free professional services directly under our control. These include retouched professional photos, a video reel, and model and catwalk training. These are guaranteed for every model who joins us.
3. Refund Policy:
Our models are entitled to a refundable fee, provided they follow our straightforward guidelines. Unfortunately, while most models adhere to these, there are some who do not and subsequently blame us for their own non-compliance.
4. Brand Partnerships:

Regarding the specific situation mentioned:

a. The model in question visited our office and based on her look and demeanour, we decided to accept her onto our roster.

b. During her visit, she received a free professional photoshoot. However, due to our videographer’s unexpected illness and early departure, we were unable to complete her video reel that day. To compensate, we offered her additional photos, which she accepted. Days later, she contacted us to report that an employee had hung up on her—a claim that our employee denied. Despite this, we issued a sincere apology and advised her to escalate the matter to our regulatory authority if she wished. She declined to do so.

c. She further complained that she had received nothing from us, despite joining in late November 2024, just before the Christmas period. We explained that her materials would be delivered in early January 2025 due to holiday staffing schedules. This slight delay would not impact the opportunities we aimed to secure for her, but she was unwilling to accept this explanation. Unfortunately, her impatience and unwillingness to reason hindered constructive dialogue.

At EMM Management, we do not claim to be perfect, and we do not expect perfection from our models either. We do, however, expect reasonableness and patience—qualities that are essential for success in the modelling industry. Regrettably, this individual seemed to lack both, for reasons that remain unclear to us.

We wish her the very best in her future endeavours and modelling career. We firmly believe we acted appropriately in this situation and are confident in our practices.

Joining EMM Management is entirely optional, and there are numerous alternatives available.
