Karen answered all my queries even after OTP was signed and accepted. Made contact and arranged with sellers to accommodate us as best as she could. Up until key hand over and after Karen has been nothing short of helpful accommodating and extremely trust worthy.

After changing from another real estate business to Eazi, the only thing we regret is not going with them 1st.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Kim Braaf for the exceptional assistance she provided during the sale of our home.

Since our immigration abroad, Kim consistently went above and beyond the responsibilities typically expected of an Estate Agent to ensure the successful sale of our property. Over the course of many months, she maintained constant communication with us regarding the listing, viewings, and the various repairs and improvements required to bring the home up to the appropriate sale standard. She also took the initiative, often in her personal time, to liaise with my family who remain in South Africa in order to assist us throughout the process.

Kim was transparent with the buyer from the outset, clearly explaining that because we were living abroad, the transaction would likely take longer than usual. Despite this disclosure, when the buyers became frustrated and threatened to cancel the sale and/or pursue legal action due to the delays, Kim continued to manage the situation professionally and did everything possible to keep the transaction on track.

In addition, she worked diligently with the attorneys to ensure that all required documentation was completed correctly and efficiently.

The level of dedication, professionalism, and customer service Kim demonstrated throughout this process deserves to be recognised and commended. Reading the buyer’s review was genuinely disheartening, as it does not accurately reflect the outstanding service and support we experienced as sellers.

As a first time and an anxious seller , Kim made the process so easy and pleasant. She held my hand step by step. Thank you so much for making this process bearable. I was kept in the loop with every step. Handing over the keys was done very professional.

Great experience with Monica our property specialist. Everything was explained and she and the rest of the team at Eazi Real Estate worked quickly.

Eazi publicly speaks about “personal service,” “dedicated post-sales support,” keeping clients informed, and making the process “stress-free.” My experience was the complete opposite.

The communication was terrible. Once the sale was secured, I was largely left in the dark. There was little follow-up, poor communication, no proper guidance, and absolutely no sense that anyone cared about the buyer experience after the deal was done.

The handover itself was shocking. It felt rushed and completely unprofessional. Despite my visible discomfort and confusion, there was no effort made to slow down, explain things properly, or ensure I understood important details about the property. Questions were met with uncertainty, and there seemed to be very little actual knowledge about the home being handed over — including confusion around the house keys, and request for any spares, she just replied "I don't know" whilst rushing towards the door. When I asked about the door that wouldn't lock, I was told: "I told you that when you were here, it's broken." She definitely did not highlight this.

I was also told I “couldn’t install burglar bars,” and when I asked for proof of the email, she couldn't provide it. Naturally, as a homeowner, I am concerned about security, but this was just pushed aside. Instead of offering solutions or guidance, the approach felt dismissive and untrustworthy.

When following up with the Property company today, they provided the following feedback - "Yes, there are certain rules, etc., usually pertaining more to the outside and common areas. But shutters within your property are fine to install as long as it's a neutral colour, which is in contrast to the feedback provided by Kim.
To make matters worse, when I arrived at the property, which she requested for 4 pm, we waited and waited to enter, eventually seeing someone cleaning inside, when she opened the door, almost 20 minutes later, she replied "I had to clean it, it was disgusting, my mother would be shocked if I handed it over in such a state" yet the space was equally dirty, it looked like she wiped the windows with dirt

I would rather not have had her clean before moving in, the condition was disgusting. Further to, the house not being clean, the stove was terribly dirty inside, the shower was filthy, and there was a pantiliner stuck in the cupboard and a moulded Pyrex dish in the oven.

She "handed over my gift" with my back turned to her, whilst I was still trying to get feedback on the things with her constant, "I need to go."

Whilst I don't understand why she was rushing., and as a single mom myself, I have to first see to my bread and butter, with some flexibility about when life happens.
The after-sales service I experienced throughout this process was dismissive, unapologetic, and completely lacking accountability.

She frantically stood engaging with the Body Corporate
I had no clarification beforehand on:
1. Get me access to the gates, the app for opening
2. Ask for the car to be removed, which was in my spot (And understood in terms of the Offer to purchase)
3. She couldn't provide any clarity on where to get water.
4. Whether there were spare keys in rotation
It was frustrating.

As I was still engaging her, she kept saying "I need to go now."

Buying a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional investments a person can make.

There was clearly no pride, care, or effort put into preparing the property for handover. It felt abandoned rather than professionally transitioned to me as the new owner.

I requested that she not take pics, due to personal reasons, but the real reason was that I couldn't in good faith put my name against her success story, the experience was horrible, with the counter laden with calendars, a dirty gift back and a terrible bottle of none alcholic wine, which tasted like my experience with Eazi, with the key handed over on a dirty key ring.

What should have been an exciting milestone instead became an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience because of the poor after-sales service and lack of professionalism shown throughout. Truth be told, she didn't have to sell the property. I saw it, I liked it, and I made an offer. The least Kim could have done was to have made an effort for this handover.
If Eazi genuinely wants to uphold the values it publicly markets — professionalism, communication, transparency, and customer support — then there needs to be serious reflection on how buyers are treated after the sale goes through.

Rather let me pay more commission than do this again, I trust Kim because of my experience and engagement with Monica Philander, but I guess, not all Eazi agents are created equally.
