Definitely a scam! Avoid at all costs!
Hired a car at Pisa Airpport. When taking over the car, I discovered nine different damages already and made sure that the agent present registered each one of them.
One damage was a faulty, damaged and loose wheel trim on one wheel. After my first 5 km trip, this wheel trim had fallen off.
When handing in the car after 10 days, they insisted that I signed a form stating that I had caused the damage, which, of course, I denied.
The next day, I received an email informing me that they would charge me € 126,60 for this one cap.
I immediately replied, challenging the decision but they NEVER even replied this complaint (it's been 20 days now) - and they proceeded to steal the € 126,60 from my creditcard.

Mind you, when I was handing in the keys at Pisa Airport, I noticed that EVERY one of their rental cars in my proximity were scratched, dented and/or had other damages.

Sinceramente ha sido una experiencia increíble, el coche en perfecto estado y los empleados, tanto en la recogida como en la devolución has estado a la altura. Un comportamiento ejemplar. No me acuerdo el nombre de los 2 chicos que me atendieron cuando recogí el coche, pero si recuerdo el de Samuele, que ha sido el muchacho que comprobó el coche cuando lo he entregado, y ha sido encantador, hizo un esfuerzo en hablar el Español hasta que llegó mi hija que habla inglés, y entre los dos lo hablaban a la perfección. Si es verdad que revisó el coche por todos lados, ruedas, cristales, carrocería, bajos, lunas, interiores, etc., vamos una revisión a conciencia, pero como el lo dijo, nunca se le devolvio un coche tan cuidado y limpio. Nos dijeron que en 14-20 dias como máximo, se nos devolverá íntegramente la fianza porque el coche se ha devuelto en perfectas condiciones y con mas gasolina que en la entrega. VAMOS, SI TIENES DUDAS EN QUE COMPAÑÍA ALQUILAR TU COCHE, NO TE LO PIENSES, ECH HA SIDO DE LAS MEJORES COMPAÑÍA CON LAS QUE YO HE ALQUILADO. 100% RECOMENDABLE.

J’ai loué un véhicule pour 4 jours pour 270€ auprès de cette agence qui, après lui avoir restitué le véhicule m’a prélevé 700€ sur ma caution en justifiant des rayures et petits chocs dont je n’ai jamais été à l’origine. A la lecture des autres avis, je constate qu’il s’agit bien d’un système à grande échelle qui vise à arnaquer les clients séduits par un tarif attractif. Attention ⚠️ ne faites pas appel à cette agence, grosse arnaque a l’arrivée!!!!

All'ereoporto di Pisa, la compagnia di Noleggio MI HA "COSTRETTO" A PAGARE UN'ASSICURAZIONE IN QUANTO NON AVEVO UN BIGLIETTO AEREO. (ne avevo due dei treni). Nonostante fossi già munito di altra assicurazione, ho dovuto farla anche con loro, pagando di fatto un servizio inutile. Se non l'avessi fatta, non mi avrebbero dato l'auto

Esperienza altamente negativa. Mi è stato rifiutato il ritiro dell’auto perché non disponevo del biglietto di ritorno da Catania. L’unica soluzione proposta è stata l’acquisto di un’assicurazione extra di 280 €, condizione del tutto arbitraria.

Ho lasciato la caparra, non rimborsata, e sono stato costretto a noleggiare presso un’altra compagnia il giorno successivo.

Politiche interne da rivedere urgentemente e personale privo di tatto e professionalità, convinto di fare un favore al cliente anziché fornire un servizio pagato.
Assolutamente sconsigliato.

Serietà del personale e puntualità

The price was much better than that of other companies. Representatives were fast and friendly, very helpful. A couple of things: not to clean the wind shield from inside, and no washscreen fluid. Overal - good.

If I could give less than 1 ⭐️ I would. Awful company to deal with. Charge you a whole extra days hire if you are late dropping car back. Do NOT tell you on collection what time the car needs dropping back. Originally Car Hire cost was €66 for 4 days, had to pay €200 insurance PLUS a €200 deposit and was then charged the late drop off fee of €50 on return. To top it all they must have cleaned the boot of the car with bleach or some chemical as it ruined my jacket. Should have booked with the company I used previously which is Centauro - more professional, helpful and cheaper all round! Lesson learnt

We have catched a great deal, but first we were a bit skeptical, because some Reviews were negative. Everything went smooth for us and we had an Overall good experience. So we do not understand the Bad Reviews.

L'auto era in ordine e pulita, il servizio nel complesso sufficiente, ma quello che rovina completamente l'esperienza è il personnale con un atteggiamento ostile a seguito del rifiuto di stipulare una assicurazione aggiuntiva per la copertura delle franchigie. Alla fine la macchina restituita era in condizioni perfette e non ci sono stati problemi ma non lo sceglierei sicuramente in futuro. Inoltre il sistema segnalava un cambio olio che mi è stato detto di ignorare ma che non è stato annotato in nessun posto pertanto avrebbe potuto essermi opposto come negligenza da parte mia, inoltre il sistema di far fare una foto al verbale di consegna da me firmato senza lasciarmene neppure una fotocoipia è decisamente poco trasparente.

Insuperabili in quanto a maleducazione, mancanza di professionalità, assenza di disponibilità.... Di peggio non ho mai incontrato.
Come essere sicuro di dire MAI PIÙ!

Tutto è andato in maniera perfetta. Nessun intoppo. Ricevuto qualche giorno fa cauzione su carta. Consigliato.

J 'ai réservé une voiture a l'aéroport de Pise pour 13 jours. Le jour où j'ai voulu prendre la voiture la personne de l'accueil me demande la caution réglementaire mais me signifie que ce n'est pas possible car ma carte bancaire ne le permet pas car ce n'est pas une carte de crédit. Ce qui est faut. Elle me demande alors de régler plus de 600€ en plus du montant de la location pour pouvoir disposer du véhicule ce qui correspond me dit elle au tarif de l'assurance. Entreprise malhonnête. A fuir.

Absolutely terrible experience with ECH Car Hire at Pisa Airport. When collecting the car, the initial inspection was rushed and superficial — several scuffs and scratches were missed by the staff member. On return, however, a different representative conducted an overly thorough inspection and suddenly “discovered” multiple scuffs and marks that had not been recorded at pick-up, including tiny ones on the underside and lower edges of the vehicle that were clearly old and irrelevant to normal use.

Fortunately, I had taken comprehensive video and photo evidence of the car at the start of the hire, which proved these marks were already there. Without that, I have no doubt they would have attempted to charge me for pre-existing damage.

After looking online, it’s clear my experience is far from unique — there are many similar complaints describing unfair charges, poor customer service, and questionable inspection practices. This company cannot be trusted and should not be given business.

For transparency, I booked through Zest Car Hire, a company I’ve used for years and generally trusted. I’ve provided detailed feedback to Zest urging them to remove ECH as a supplier — they are damaging Zest’s otherwise excellent reputation.

In short: dishonest damage claims, and a company you should absolutely avoid.

Macchina di ottima qualità nuova

Sono stata truffata. Ho pagato 122€ per assicurazione aggiuntiva, del tutto inutile. Al rientro ho consegnato l'auto in fiducia perché ero sicura di nessun danno. Premesso che mi è stata consegnata un'auto piena di graffi da atti vandalici. Dopo la consegna, magicamente mi è stato contestato e addebitato altri 169€ per un ulteriore graffiatura da atto vandalico. Ovviamente lo hanno fatto loro, perché io ero sicurissima di aver restituito l'auto nelle stesse condizioni del ritiro. Ahimè non avendo letto le recensioni prima, ero on fiducia dell'onestà. Luogo del ritiro/consegna aeroporto di Catania.

Abzocke, kann Gleiches bestätigen! Mussten die Zusatzversicherung für 200€ abschließen die zum Schluß einbehalten wurde aufgrund einer Minidelle auf der Haube die anhand der Fotos nicht ersichtlich ist. Vorgang ist berechnend, also bitte nicht dort buchen! (Sizilien, dass Auto war übrigens bereits bei Übergabe komplett zerkratzt und zerdellt, daher hat man die Haube als Tatort benannt)
