I bought a Raleigh Novus Plus e-bike through Garf @ E-Bikes Direct and can honestly say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made.

The bike is brilliant. It glides up hills that used to have me questioning my life choices and fitness levels. Now I arrive at my destination looking like I’ve exercised, rather than survived an ordeal. The motor assistance is smooth, the ride is comfortable, and every trip seems to end with a bigger grin than it started with.

As for E-Bikes Direct, they were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient enough to answer all my questions without once suggesting I should just read the manual. The whole process was effortless, from ordering to delivery, and the bike arrived in perfect condition.

The combination of the Raleigh Novus Plus and E-Bikes Direct has been dangerous for my car, which now spends most of its time wondering why it’s no longer needed.

If you’re thinking about buying an e-bike, stop thinking and do it. Then buy it from E-Bikes Direct. Your legs will thank you, your wallet might forgive you eventually, and your smile will get a serious workout.

Good experience. Had to call/email to use cycle scheme voucher which originally seemed a bit of a nuisance but the service was great and I can’t complain.

Haven’t received bike yet but they were able to move the delivery date to any day of my choosing in the week, which I appreciated.

Ado air pro 20 just delivered - meant to arrive fully assembled - it has NOT been assembled. The handlebars are not attached, neither is the seat post nor the saddle. I've just phoned, was told it 'certainly should not have been sent out like that', transferred to 'technician', who said that the bikes cannot be assembled 'fully', as with the handlebars on, would be 'too big for the box'. I was sent a video, which I had already found on youtube, and which didn't make things any clearer. This is a FOLDING BIKE for goodness' sake, ebikes are selling full size bikes which they apparently assemble for delivery, and they can't assemble a folding bike with small wheels? Plus, they clearly state on the bike description page that the bike will be fully assembled - that you only need to 'straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals'. This is an outright lie. Myself and a friend managed to get it to a bike shop, where I was told it will cost me £150 to put together. I tried to do it myself, but various rings started falling out, and I'm not prepared to take the risk with an ebike I'll be riding on the road. There shouldn't BE any risk. It should have been delivered fully assembled, as they state, not only on their website, but on the bike's own page.
I feel deceived and scammed. This is not what I paid for, and now I have to pay out an extra £150, just to get what I have already paid for. All in all, an incredibly stressful, and very costly experience. I'm furious.

I ordered a small frame e-bike, the OEBECO Urban 2 Roadster Hybrid Electric Bike (7 Speed - Blue). However, two days later, I was informed that only the mid frame was available. They offered to refund my purchase, but I decided to go with the mid frame since it was close to my size.

It turns out I had been riding the wrong size bike all along. The mid frame is perfect for me! It runs smoothly, and I recently completed a 30-mile round trip across Cornwall without any issues.

I believe this e-bike is excellent value for money. The service provided by the staff was great; they were very helpful and sent my e-bike via overnight delivery. I'm very happy with my purchase. Well done, e-bikesdirect

I ordered a Basis Boxer folding mtb from ebikes direct after having a good talk about the kind of bike I wanted..Garf was very good with knowledge of the bikes and what would fit me size wise and what wouldn't being a vertically challenged female of 5'4" !!! It arrived ready made up except for the handlebars which were easy enough to fit myself and straighten ...my light wasnt working and 1 of the reflectors had got damaged in the large carton it came in...NOT A PROBLEM Emailed ebikes and Rob sorted those out ASAP with a replacement light fitting and reflector in the post overnight ...
I have been out for its first ride today with a friend who has a very expensive Ebike and my bike performed amazingly well I was in front zooming along country lanes and up hills with no red face anymore or near cardiac arrest ....this wee bike is AMAZING 👏 my friend and her husband are both well impressed by it and the fact I can put it in the boot of my car to travel to further cycle routes is a definate bonus. I have to say for the price this bike holds its own against the big boys of the ebike world ...after sales and back up from Ebikes has been brilliant would definitely buy from them again ...still can't wipe the smile from my face from this morning zooming about the beautiful countryside where I live love my New bike 😍

Excellent service from Archie. Initially didn’t have the bike I ordered in stock but Archie found a replacement which was an upgrade on the bike I ordered. Arrived a day later. Unboxed and took for a test drive. Excellent bike and excellent recommendation from Archie. Thanks for all your help

I bought an ADO Carbon last year from EBikesdirect and unfortunately it arrived damaged (from ADO), they were brilliant in helping to rectify the problem even sending a box to return it and paying the postage, I ended up receiving a full refund, customer service was always prompt in replying to my emails and I couldn't of asked for more, because of that I decided to get another bike from them this time opting for a E-Go CarbonLight 3S, I've had the bike for a couple of weeks now and it's great I'm extremely happy with it!

Purchased a new Lapierre e-mtb through E bikes direct this month through my companies cycle to work scheme. E bikes direct were excellent in advising me on what bikes were available in my price range and further info into which ones had the latest gen 5 motor. They held the bike for me whist I sorted the cycle scheme voucher. Once I had the voucher they packed and shipped the bike to me within a few days.
Bike arrived to my home all safe and required only minimal building of the front wheel and handle bars. I had to read up a bit on how to set up the electrical bosch e-bike side of things and the battery was only charged to %20. The battery is required to be at %80 before its first ride according to Bosch.
I have now had several rides on the bike and it is excellent.
Cant say anything but praise for E bikesdirect, will use again for sure.

I purchased a basis osprey folding electric bike the bikes ok but the gearing is way too low , in high electric setting you can't keep up peddling so becomes very frustrating. Also the seat post keeps slipping down so I tried to tighten with the quick realise and it bent so badly that it's now useless. The bike does have a great range, 17ah. battery, and the bike is comfy to use.

Having spoke to Garf with regards to an E bike I wanted he was very helpful and understood my requests as a RN veteran, so many thanks Garf and I would advise anyone looking t an E bike to use this company

Excellent company to deal with. The folding bike we bought several years ago continues to good service. Taking it to the Bodiam HQ a while ago resulted a quick and cheap repair that a local shop couldn't manage, and now there has been good and friendly advice over what proved to our mistake

I purchased a Cube e-bike from them. I live in Guernsey and they took VAT off at source. Reasonable delivery charge considering the weight and size of the bike.
Overall great experience and I don’t hesitate to recommend them.

usless & lie and a stressfull buy .. full of limp under the cap ... so miscomms are rife & acuse the customers of being somewhat of a pain by sending sacastic emails customer service is a joke .. .. full of half truths when they reply ... plenty of other bike sellers out there i would suggest shop around & read 1 star reviews .. they all cant be wrong .. depending how this pans out i am seriously contemplating sending my whole story to BBC .. watchdog ..

I chose E Bike Direct because they advertise same/next day delivery, and the website clearly stated 2–3 days. After 3 days with no updates, I contacted them and was told the bike first needs to be checked, which takes an additional 5–7 days before dispatch — meaning the real delivery time is around 10 days.
This is not what is advertised. I cancelled my order and bought the same bike on Amazon with next-day delivery (still sold by E Bike Direct). The same applies on eBay, where faster delivery options are also available.
Selling the same product faster through other platforms while delaying direct orders is unacceptable. Avoid buying directly from them.

Excellent experience from choosing bike to delivery. Spoke to Garf about cycle to work scheme. Having spoke to many other online shops and getting no where, he helped me sort it all out. I had an idea of what bike i wanted but he helped me pick the right bike for me and I ended up with a miles better one for less money. Kept the bike for me until the voucher arrived then delivered on a day to suit me. Made the whole process really easy and I have recommended them to friends already. I will be using them for any future purchases.

Please be aware before buying something from this website,because if you order wrong size or if you want to return a product back,the don’t give you refund back,still waiting for refund since 3 weeks when l return the product back and they said they didn’t received the product,but on royal mail website is saying they received!
