Such a great service- I didn’t think I…
Such a great service- I didn’t think I would be able to recover the import tax after I returned some clothing but duty refunds made it so easy. Had my refund in a month which I was so pleased about. Would def use again!

Very straightforward process and got me a refund of over £600 from HMRC for a product I bought and then needed to return.

Very happy customer took a while to get things completed and also a bit of confusion with repeated emails asking the same questions several times but thankfully we got there at the end. If it hadn't been for duty refunds I would have given up on my claim as working through customs directly was so stressful. the fee is minimal I would highly recommend duty refunds.

Brilliant
Easy to use, responsive and helpful customer service. My case was a challenging one and didn’t go to plan due to factor outside of their control, but they took full responsibility and did the right thing. Couldn’t reccomend more

Hi Eloi, thank you for sharing your experience and we are sorry that fee and processing times didn't match your expectations.
To clarify, you initially paid £46.19 import VAT and £12 non-refundable Parcelforce customs clearance fee to Parcelforce. We were able to reclaim the full £46.19 from HMRC, and we charged our 15% fee which amounts to £6.93.
Regarding the length of the refund process, this is unfortunately dependent on HMRC's internal processes, and the 8 weeks it took for your refund to be issued is longer than usual.

Simple and hassle free user experience
Simple, transparent and hassle free user experience. It took HMRC a long time to approve and process the refund, however, Duty Refunds did a great job of keeping me up to date on the progress giving me assurance I had not been forgotten about. Highly recommend!

Daniil was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me, he only started this job and the way he dealt with my ongoing problem that i have had last 6 months that no one else could he sorted it out in just hours. Very professional. It was very kind of him to call me and discuss this matter, he got my refund sorted straight away which i am so grateful because it was getting very frustrating and Daniil was very sympathetic. Thank you so much you are an absolute star.
