Hi Phillip, thank you for sharing your experience and we are sorry that refunded amount didn't match your expectations.
To clarify, you paid £44 to FedEx of which £12 was a fee charged by FedEx for their customs clearance services. We were able to reclaim circa £32 from HMRC, and we charged our 15% fee from that refunded amount. We will review our customer communications to ensure that our customers are better informed of the amounts that they would be refunded via our service.
Regarding the length of the refund process, this is unfortunately dependent on HMRC's internal processes, and we are working with them to reduce the time it takes for our customers to receive their refund.

Took the stress out of finding and correctly completing the necessary forms to get a rebate, after providing the necessary details. Received regular updates and was refunded before the estimated date. Well worth the 15% fee - would recommend.

Worth the 15% Fee
After looking at the tax refund process myself and all that was involved the 15% fee Duty refunds take is well worth it. Good looking portal, kept up to date and very fast in transferring the money. Would use again.

Got there eventually :)
Got there eventually! Initially there were some delays in responses but once a new employee took the case it was resolved pretty quickly. I received weekly updates on the progress too. All sorted now. Perfect thankyou!

Hassle-Free Experience
Reliable company, got my refund back as promised. It took a while to get the refund (~7 weeks), but that was solely to HMRC being slow, as Duty Refunds provided an update every week or so. Would definitely use again, as their fees are not too high and the process is straightforward.
