Had to chase my refund
After sales was unfortunately a poor experience for me. A faulty awning was exchanged after photo's were forwarded without question, which initially was great, however I had to wait afterwards for approximately 10 days to receive my refund which I was concerned about in the end and had to email Dubpod several times, could have been an admin error, either way I had to chase my money. On a positive note, the pre sales communication was good and I think that the concept of the T2 Awning is great, it needs to evolve a little further for me though, the clear windows should be on the outside rather than the van side, a larger reinforced pole patch on the ground sheet is required, try to do something better with the awning to the van attachment design - rib is fine but we had a lot of water build up on the excess material hanging down, this could have been me but I do feel a better design could be a game changer.
I would not purchase the same design again, I feel design could be improved and the QC was my reason for returning product. With this in mind I would buy from Dubpod again, if the points above are designed out and a MK2 is on sale next season.

Hi Marc, Sorry the refund process spoiled the initially good after sales process. Normally we expect refunds to arrive with the customer within 7 days. This allows time to inspect the goods and allows for the payment providers processing time (up to 4 days) In this case we processed the refund the day after it was received and inspected, but as it was ordered directly on the phone using Paypal the refund took longer than we expected. Sorry you had to chase, until your email we just weren't aware this refund had not arrived with you at that point, but when you got in touch we ensured this was resolved ASAP. I know the resolution of the issue with the awning was solved within hours of making contact so apologies that the additional time the Paypal refund took wiped out this good work from the team. Thanks for your thoughts on updates, I think the point on the water build up on the excess material hanging down, is mainly a matter of correct tensioning against the van as it shouldn't have any excess at this point. Apologies that the refund process spoiled what had gone well up to that point.

A premium product with first class support from start to finish. Personal calls with genuine sympathy (and solutions) to ensure everything was ok after DPL delivery mishap. The dubpod is an absolute must for camping enthusiasts who wish to progress from the typical awning.
Space 5/5 Visual appearance 5/5 Time to set up 5/5 Weight 4/5 but this is distributed over 2 bags.

We placed an order which we needed promptly and Dubpod provided amazing customer service which enabled us to receive the order sooner than usual.
Their communication was excellent and we could not fault anything about the whole process.
