very unfriendly staff at the security. long queues. not very clean. choice of shops is international standard, also regarding the prices. also here: unfriendly personell. overall: unpleasant experience

No information office that I could find. It was a nightmare trying to find out what bus to get.

Vehicule reservé et payé en ligne mais impossible de le recuperer sur place sans souscrire une assurance supplémentaire a plus de 200€ sous pretexte que le prenom sur la carte bancaire ne correspondait pas a celui du conducteur ( information non clairement indiquée), sur les conditions generales on parle de nom de famille pas de prenom!
Un supplement de 45€ pour restitution en centre ville a egalement été ajouté sans transparence lors de la reservation.
J ai été clairement contrainte de payer des frais supplemantaires pour recuperer le vehicule.
Manque de clarté et pratique regrettable

Terminal 1 flight number FR1442 to Liverpool.

Incoming was an easy process from Liverpool to Dublin outgoing was a total embarrassment to me and shocked my family.

I placed my coat, articles, belt and hat into the grey security bucket. I was then told to remove my top.
My garment was a hoody top and was told to remove this.
I questioned this which went unanswered, I then had to exposed my upper torso with just my vest.
I am 61 years old not in great shape and I am very conscious about my appearance. This totally embarrassed me in front of my family including my granddaughter.
I have never had to strip down as far as this and this should’ve been completed in a private room not in front of the gaze of all of the other passengers - no apology was given only that I’m just doing my job - well I’m sorry but this officer went too far.
This is the same as a female taking off a top and exposing to everybody her bra.

Upon entering the body scanner, this was also mentioned to the officer at this point who looked sheepish and proceeded to listen to my complaint with no reference on their part.
I explained that this is unacceptable and the look from my wife and family members in their shock has totally embarrassed me and is an incident that will stay with me for the rest of my life to the point where I do not want to return to that airport.

It would go someway from you guys if an apology was offered.

I had assistance on our way to Mexico. As we passed through the Airport l read a sign that said you could purchase duty free and collect it on your return. I bought 2 lts of whisky. and then l asked her about it, she said they don't do it.
To cut a long story short. It was confiscated on our way back from Mexico.
What were the signs about?

“Third-party” airport staff which seems to be most of the airport/airlines here, defer blame when things aren’t proper, they hide their names when you ask for names to review, they call you ignorant when you are frustrated that the airline changes your departure time three hours later yet the “third-party” WestJet airport representatives refuse to check you in, so we have would have had to have come to the airport 6 hours early to check in for a 3 hour delayed flight. I’m sure the “third-party representatives would be quick to accept praise. Theresa, the manager of the “third party” WestJet representatives who all had covered their name tags when I attempted to ask for review purposes will be the face of the review then. Between flying into and out of this airport has been by far the worst travel experience of my life. I will never return to Ireland based solely off this fact alone which is sad for the country but I can’t get over how non-customer centric this entire experience has been from start to finish. Met some good people but it truly makes me appreciate the super customer centric focus in North America, I just want to go home now. Call it what you what to call it but at least we make a bad experience for a customer a little bit better, they don’t even attempt to remedy these negative experiences here, the staff actually called me ignorant for being upset about them not letting me on the overpriced plane that I had paid for and still arriving over three hours early. Then I paid $15 euros for a disgusting burger king burger, smaller than anything I have ever seen in my life. Thank you Dublin airport, you truly take the cake.

I was on a trip with my school, I am a 16 year old girl. Everything was perfectly fine until we had returned home from the trip and the staff member scanning our passports was extremely rude. It was the middle of the night, he asked if I was with a school group and I told him “yes, *school name*.” he asked “what?” with an extremely nasty tone, so i repeated the name and he asked “what’s that?” again with the same tone so i told him “my school” and he, with the rudest facial expression and tone told me “yeah, that’s what i asked.” Again, I am a 16 year old girl coming home in the middle of the night from a trip, his tone was absolutely horrific and i was extremely upset and it ruined my entire night as I remained shaken and anxious. Actually disgusting behaviour from a middle aged man.

Woeful dump, only words for it. Absolute shambles, vending machines are the mainstay and the few and I mean few, manned vendors have warm drinks for an extra 15% extra than the cooled vending machine drinks. We flew in from Dallas to return to Manchester airport via here. I will actively avoid this hellhole at all costs in future, once bitten twice shy. Outward leg was Madrid and was a great airport, this needs levelling, restaffing, redesigning. All the Americans that were here were not happy and who could blame them. Looks and feels like an 80's dump bus depot complete with vending machines and unhelpful miserable staff. Oh yeah and incorrect info blasted repeatedly over the tannoy, yes you read that correctly wrong info. Unreal!

Staff were friendly apart from one extremely rude encounter at security with a staff member called Leah. Made extremely rude and unprofessional comments and it was one rule for one a different for another. Never met someone like this in security in any sort of airport I have been in.

It's actually nothing at this airport . Other airport has brand wear shops , brand glass shops etc . At Dublin airport it's actually nothing except food and the duty free shop all over the place , which is actually not cheap at all like the name of it says.
Used to be good shops at this airport and DAA removed them , to sell them expensive rubbish in duty free shop . In UK airports you can buy a bottle of vodka for £12 . In Dublin airport is €30 or over . It's actually same price like in the town . Rip off people and saying duty free shop . I'm really disappointed they removed the brand shops . Other airport are more colourful,even smaller airports, compare to Dublin airport.

Parking at Dublin Airport has become outrageously expensive and feels like nothing more than a cash grab. It is extremely frustrating to see that even the cheapest parking options cost around €10–€12 per day, while offering very little in terms of real convenience or value.
These “budget” car parks are often located several kilometres away from the terminals, left completely exposed to the weather, and require passengers to rely on shuttle buses. Travelling with luggage under these conditions adds unnecessary stress and delays before a journey has even begun. If you want to park closer or choose a covered facility, the prices rise to levels that many travellers would consider unreasonable.
For anyone going away for a week or more, the total parking cost can become shockingly high. It creates the clear impression that passengers are being taken advantage of simply because they have limited practical alternatives when flying from Ireland’s main airport.
An international airport of this scale should be focused on improving passenger experience, not placing such a heavy financial burden on basic services like parking. At the moment, the pricing structure feels excessive, unfair and disconnected from the expectations of ordinary travellers.
Unless changes are made, many people will be forced to reconsider how and from where they travel in the future. This is not the kind of first or last impression a major airport should be creating.

Dining options very poor. What was offered was dreadful quality. Would advise anyone to bring their own lunch.
Shopping was very limited and was over priced.
Staff we encountered were polite but that's all.

The friendly security staff when departing. Also, when flying back into Dublin, the lovely staff at passport control, saw my name was as gaeilge on the passport and spoke a little Irish to me. It was lovely and such a difference to the cold and unfriendly staff in Malaga. Maith sibh. Way more professional and fast security checking.

PARKING PRICES GOING UP EVERY MONTH A DISGRACE

The flight was fine coming into Dublin Airport
But a staff member at immigration was really rude and abrupt towards me after I was being polite and in joyful way said I wish I was still holiday (typical harmless Irish banther) but the immigration staff member took it upon himself to tell me dont ever come back to the country again then, it was quite upsetting after a wonderful trip. I thought he was joking but then he slammed my passport on the counter in an aggressive way
Surely this is no way treat a passenger after a long haul flight
I really hope this review is seen and something can be implemented to prevent this type of behaviour towards anyone again.
Other than that everything went smoothly coming through Dublin Airport.

I always enjoy flying through this airport in contrast to either of the two Belfast airports which are closer to me. The airport is efficient and the staff are polite and helpful even at the security. It's worth the extra journey.

every time i come here, i always have to go an hour through security, and im talking about only the place where you drop your bags in a conveyor to get it sent back to you after its passed an examination. the food selection is alright, but could use some more variety, the staff are pretty ignorant, and act like they dont know anything.

Smooth experience - security well staffed and polite also. Food reasonable for an airport. Crowd control was well managed.

Terminal 1 get your act together why is there no smoked salmon to take as a present to relatives abroad I spent 30 minutes walking from shop to shop but nothing very disappointed as will my relatives who look forward to this present every time I travel
