There shipping practices are the worst.. first they do not tell you that somebody has to be at the residence to sign, when you try to redirect. drone nerds already told FedEx not to redirect so in other words you can't have it sent to a FedEx store for pickup at a later date talking the Drone nerds is like talking to robots they didn't want to help me in any way shape or form.. this will be the last time I ever used this company

Complete waste of money
Complete waste of money. First I understand everyone is busy and it takes time, but over a month just to diagnose is far too long. Then the price to fixed was over 400$ for a stuck gimbal... more then the mini2 values... got me. Still have to pay over 100 buck to have shipped back to me. Redicouls!

Took over a month and couldn't fix the problem. Never again.
The technician did not take the time…
The technician did not take the time address the issue with controlling gimbal tilt speed proportionally using the gimbal tilt wheel, and claimed that the "new remotes" do not provide control over the gimbal tilt speed with the control wheel. Instead he sent the drone to billing without returning my call, and I was charged $69 for diagnostics, $99 for rush service and $35 for shipping. Seems like the "rush service" was to hurry up and ship the drone back so as to get paid. Spent over $200 for nothing!
Communicating with the Customer
I was extremely pleased with the communications between your repair shop technician, Matthew, and myself. Matthew was very informative and polite. He listened carefully to my concerns and questions. He was also very prompt to inform me and other DroneNerds personnel of progress during the repair process. This gave me confidence that my drone repair was given any necessary attention to complete the job. Please keep up the great work of communicating with your customers. It was excellent.

Don't lose your money
DRONE NERDS IS TRASH!! STAY AWAY!!
Shipped to wrong address, had them change it and to be geld at FedEx for pick up there.. wasn't left there... they haven't answered where the drone was sent... don't trust them!!
Update: still no drone, they said not their problem so I'm out my money, they don't ship packages insured.. so it leaves them and the shipper(fed ex) not responsible.

Drone Nerds - timely, professional and reasonable
Drone Nerds provided very timely and professional service. I was especially impressed by the knowledge of the tech who helped with my P4P v2 repair, Matthew B. Matthew gave me details on the type of testing they did and insight into the trouble I had experienced. I paid for the express service and it was extremely fast. I have many weekly and twice weekly construction update mapping clients and the Drone Nerds service kept me from worrying about being down to a single drone with no backup.
FedEx lost my package but things were made right.
After FedEx lost my package Drone Nerds went above and beyond to make things right. Great customer service and friendly staff.
