What is Motor Legal Protection?
A Motor Legal Protection Plus policy from Driver Guardian covers legal expenses which result from a car accident that was not your fault.
This type of policy is often included as an add on for your road risk insurance.
Driver Guardian Motor Legal Protection covers the driver and not the vehicle, this means that if you have more than one vehicle you only need one policy, this can lead to big savings on your vehicle insurance overall.
Driver Guardian also do family deals on Motor Legal Protection so you can save even more by getting a group or Family policy.

Great company to deal with
Great company to deal with, had a change of mind about the policy I had taken out with them and cancelled within the 14 day cooling off period. No hassle, refunded the amount I had paid in a very timely fashion. Not used their breakdown service but the company appears to be first class.

I broke down on holiday in devon and the only place available to fix the car was in Bristol, there was no quibble, one phone call to a lovely lady on the line and around 1hr later the car was picked up and on its way, great service

I broke down on a duel carriage way, first time calling them out. Couldn’t fault them, Straight through on the phone, I was rescued within 35 minutes and taken to my local garage. Polite, friendly service. I would definitely recommend. Great price too!

I have had to use Driver Guardian quite a few times over the years and every stage of the way I felt kept in touch and supported.
One time I had a 94yr old passenger and when I called DG discovered that my cover had lapsed 😫 but they offered me an emergency cover rate and still came out within the hour to take us to my designated garage 🙏🏼
Another time I was towing a friends caravan around Scotland and a wheel came off 🫣 DG came out, sorted the wheel with new wheel nuts, then followed us to the next service stop to double check that the wheel nuts were still tight 👏
