Extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service from this company.
I ordered a head unit which arrived without the correct wiring loom, making it unusable straight out of the box. This is a basic and essential component, so it’s frustrating that it was missing in the first place as they told me it would be plug and play.
What’s worse is the lack of communication since then. I’ve sent multiple emails with photos at their request of the wire looms of both what they sent and the car however over the past 10 days i have received no response at all. Being ignored when trying to resolve an issue like this is unacceptable.
At this point, I’m left with a product I can’t use and no support from the company. I paid over 3 instalments and have cancelled the other 2 payments and have informed Drivecast and stillI nothing. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing, as the after-sales service appears to be non-existent. Wish I had read other reviews.
Very poor experience overall.

They didn't put enough postage on the package so it sat at the sorting office for 4 days even though I expected a next day delivery. I then had to pay for delivery of £3.40 which still hasn't been refunded. The unit is now causing an SOS error message which is requiring me to visit a garage. The communication is shocking with emails being ignored and the fact that they have no phone line in 2026 is shocking! Avoid as there are better, more professional options available.

After verifying the hardware using system diagnostic tools, I can confirm the actual specifications of the device Wich was marketed as a s75 pro for a 307 (2006).

The unit uses a Snapdragon 662 (SM6115) platform with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is mid-range hardware. However, the display resolution is only 1280×720 (HD), despite the product being advertised as “Full HD / 4K”.

This is clearly misleading, as the screen itself is not 1080p and certainly not 4K.

While the device works, it is being sold at a premium price (€600+) that does not match its actual specifications. Similar units with the same hardware are typically priced around €300–€400.

In addition, a 360° camera was promised with the purchase but was not delivered.

Overall, this is a case of overstated specifications combined with incomplete delivery. Buyers should verify the real hardware before purchasing. I sent emails to no avails .

Very disappointing service. Website said their retro-fit infotainment system was compatible with our 2018 mini but it wasn’t. No phone number or instant online help so 3 hours wasted including travel for our mobile fitter. He was then told there was a way to install what they had sent so he came back and wasted another 3 hours including travel. Drive Cast agreed to refund but had to be chased to pay it and even then did not refund my postage (they were prepared to do so but only after I had posted a revised review!). I’ve lost on the postage but they have lost with a one-star review.

Es mas, vuestra pagina es casi idéntica a la de ellos.
La pantalla me la han enviado mal, no encaja, y no responden a mis correos, si es una filial vuestra, deberiais contactar con ellos, porque ellos no lo hacen conmigo.

Their kit did not work and caused EV problems through the canbus. DriveCast no help and ignored messages. Took this to PayPal and won the case with a full refund. DriveCast were ignoring our problems as they replied to a sales enquiry from a friend within an hour. Check out the 1 Star reviews on their own website - many just like this. I think if it works you’re good, but if problems they cut you off. Buyer Beware.

Honestly was sceptical about getting this product but now ive installed, I have no regrets! Was easier than expected to install, about an hour to do so. They provided a video on how to install upon request and the quality of the product is brilliant

I have purchased two of their systems, one for a Mercedes which worked perfectly. So I thought I would buy another for my daughter's Peugeot 107. After three different wiring harnesses, none of them able to switch the unit on I was told the problem is the car. They only respond to emails, pretty slowly and told me that I need to take it to an installer. However they don't have anyone in my area to recommend. The unit is supposed to be "Plug and play." I thought by paying a bit extra that I was likely to get a good,reliables and easy to install unit. If you have to cut wires etc you might as well buy a cheaper unit elsewhere.

Recently purchased a stereo from DriveCast. When i received the unit i didn't know how to install at it seemed to me that is very, very difficult and i thought i might need to get a professional to help me but after messaging their customer service they were more than kind to me to guide me through the process. They even sent me various video tutorials. Massive shoutout to the customer service!

Good value products, however severely let down by dreadful communications from the company, something they claim to be addressing having seen my original review here.

I ended up sending the unit back on their say so and over two weeks later was still waiting for confirmation of receipt and timescales for repair/upgrade despite multiple emails.

Posting a scathing and honest review here seemed to be the only way to get a response from them and achieved the required result with them providing a full refund.

Hopefully they will improve things.

I recently purchased a head unit for my Vauxhall Astra. In the beginning I was a bit confused as I never installed one of these before but the customer service guys gave me proper instructions + videos to make my installation easier and I must say the quality is actually there is not like one of those cheap ones you get online. I highly recommend this company!

Do not trust, ordered a head unit, it didn't work, agreed a refund, returned item, they confirmed it was received. 2 months later - still no refund and ignoring messages.

EDIT: update. After seeing my review, DriveCast reached out. I spoke to someone different (no names have ever been shared). But a full refund was offered and the customer service couldn’t have been more helpful, supportive and apologetic. I have knocked a star for the hassle it took to get there, but the final person I spoke to was amazing. Thank you for getting this sorted, whoever you are.

Unit was faulty. I have contacted them over 10 times to ask what the return window is. They ask if I will be returning the item, to which I state “yes, but I am currently in hospital, what is the return window” and I get ghosted. EVERY TIME. Waste of money. Unit is useless. Exactly the same as the £100 ones on Amazon. Super glitchy, sound drops out, apps randomly jump out. Not worth the £300 price tag and I find it appalling I’ve had to chase PLENTY of times just to see what the return timeframe is? What’s that about?

Edit to add- they’re being difficult. Told I could return for a refund within a 14 day window which they know has clearly passed AND know I am in hospital. As it’s faulty, I am not allowed a refund and only allowed a replacement if returned in original condition. Please explain that?! Was chasing an answer on the return window for over a month!!!!!! Clearly not within the 14 day window!!!

Orded a new head unit for my motorhome, after installation it did not work. After several emails and photographs it was determined that I had been given the wrong unit. Was advised to send it back for a replacement. Today I thought I'd received said replacement only to find it was the same head unit. Would never use this company again as no way to get in touch with them unless you email and the response can be days

Originally the head unit came with the incorrect harness for my vehicle. Contacted the team via email and had the correct one sent out for next day delivery. As expected worked as it should, very happy with the head unit and customer service is too quality

I had purchased and returned a couple of head units from different suppliers trying to find the right unit and fit for my Toyota and was beginning to think I was stuck with the factory fitted model.

I found Drivecast during a Google search. After an initial problem which they where able to resolve very quickly I received my new head unit.

Fitting was easy, and everything worked as it should apart from steering wheel controls. After numerous emails and suggestions failed to resolve the issue I was asked if I would mind traveling to there workshop at Salford.

The technician quickly identified a problem in the supplied wiring loom and resolved the problem in 20 minutes.

It would have been so easy for me to dismiss the unit as faulty and write a negative review.

I have nothing but praise for Drivecast, they answered all my questions and went out of their way to resolve my problem.

I'm impressed with the quality and usability of the screen. Customer service spot on. Was replying to queries at 9pm on a Sunday which is amazing. Couldn't be happier

Brought my son a head unit with wireless CarPlay for his Vw polo2014, very easy install plug and play. Had a few questions which I contacted via email to which had a quick response.
The unit is great for CarPlay with a good responsive touch screen but the radio isn’t that great so would recommend just using a app like global player to stream radio

Had an issue with installation, but the team provided support and fixed it fast. The stereo is amazing, and my kids love watching YouTube.
