I recently attended a wedding at this resort. While the wedding coordinator fulfilled her responsibilities professionally and the guest rooms were adequate, my overall experience was disappointing due to a significant health concern.
Unfortunately, seven members of our wedding party, including the groom, experienced symptoms of food poisoning after dining at one of the resort’s restaurants. As a result, the wedding reception had to be cut short, and our stay was severely impacted. Of the five to six days we spent at the resort, only two were relatively enjoyable.
The issue was reported promptly; however, the response from management was underwhelming. Aside from filing paperwork, no meaningful follow-up or action was taken. I was offered the opportunity to speak with a manager—ironically, as I was on my way to the airport. By that point, I had already reported the issue and expected it to be addressed earlier, which unfortunately did not occur.
This resort was formerly the Hilton Rose Hall, a property once known for its high standards and excellent service. Regrettably, since the change in ownership and branding, the quality has noticeably declined. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this resort to others.
