Too long between order and delivery!
It took them 10 days from date of purchase to ship and then another 5 days on ground shipping (which was expensive because tubes were 6ft long),, When they delayed shipping, I asked if they would upgrade shipping to make up for the delay, but no reply.
The two tubes I ordered were supposedly "stock" tubes. I could have bought these tubes from another supplier I use and they would have arrived in 5 or maybe 6 days as opposed to two weeks.
lesson learned.

High modulus carbon fiber tube
The high modulus carbon fiber tube we purchased is extremely stiff and light weight. We are working on a structural shield surface layer to protect the tube.

The product was delivered with a wavy stretched out pattern. The the pattern should have been more uniform in my opinion it was something that should’ve been held back by quality control and not delivered to the end user.

Multiple mistakes, zero concession. Something has changed with this company.
Purchased a very expensive custom large tube. Followed up during production to verify it was on time because I had a very tight schedule for a research and development project. Was told all on time. Called the day it was supposed to ship and was told it was on schedule to ship that day and no real benefit to expedited shipping due to our location. 3 days later (After the committed ship date) is finally shipped with ZERO contact from Dragonplate. When they finally shipped it they marked it as commercial and made signature required without my consent or knowledge then proceeded to ship it to a residence where UPS we could not be there to sign. We went to the UPS facility and attempted to retrieve the package but because it was a marked commercial we were not allowed to retrieve it, I called Dragonplate for 2 days until we finally got a call back. They re-directed it to our local UPS store. It went there but because we did not have a commercial account at that location it could not be retrieved there either. UPS returned it to sender 2 days later. Once back at Dragonplate they finally shipped it to us correctly. We received it more than 2 weeks after the original ship date and our project is likely cancelled. I requested some sort of concession for the multitude of mistakes and oversights made and have received nothing.

We’re genuinely sorry for the frustration. Your order shipped a few days later than planned, and we recognize this put your timeline at risk.
For security and insurance reasons, high-value, oversized shipments are designated commercial and require a signature. After your carrier-redirect request, UPS policies prevented pickup at the UPS Store, which added delay. We coordinated with UPS to resolve the routing issues and then reshipped the tube via Next Day Air at our expense.
We’ve since connected directly and confirmed you received the product. We’re glad we were ultimately able to get the tube to you and truly appreciate your patience. Our goal is always clear communication and prompt resolution, and we’re continuing to improve so every customer has the best possible experience.
