I've ordered another door mat from Door Mates. This one is a special order and will take up to 8 weeks for manufacture. I have received regular communication about this process. I recommend Door Mates

Great quality rugs at a reasonable price! Delivery was efficient, and the natural look is exactly what I wanted for my hallway. Just a tip if you have a robot vacuum: tape the ends down to your hardwood floors so it doesn't flip the edges over. Works like a charm now.

We bought this special mat for the front door of Dad’s house when it goes on the market in a few days. It’s lifted the look and modernized the entrance, is elegant and up-market. We think it is inviting enough to set the tone for the whole house.

I bought a second mat for our house and that too was better than expected. I am glad I ordered well in advance though, because waiting several weeks is a long time, even when the wait is worth it.

I love my Everlast doormat. Soft on bare feet, no shedding, cleans shoes well, looks great. No negatives to this doormat. Delivered in less that 4 weeks which was quicker than the expected delivery time on the website. Would definitely buy again.

I have been waiting since April for my door mat. I have just been notified it is still 8 weeks away, but I was told that 8 weeks ago so who knows!!! The most frustrating thing is, why on earth do they keep advertising stock for purchase when they cant fulfil orders from April. Would NEVER recommend, spend your hard earned money elsewhere

Love our new door mat ! Ordered on Saturday and it arrived on the Friday great size 550x 1200mm biggest I have found to go with our door. Think I need an underlay next thank you!

Love our new door mat and very pleased with the quality. It took a while to come but they did warn about the possibility of delays due to material availability and manufacturing turnaround. I’m happy to support local manufacturers and avoid offshore cheap imitations that don’t last and end up in landfill. Keep at it Door Mates!

Almost 5 months to receive order and delete Instagram comments from customers complaining about delayed orders. Would not recommend.

My new natural boucle jute mat looks great and stays in place. The big size looks good as i have a wide doorway.

As to why it’s not ready. I like the way they give themselves months to produce the item to try and cover their asses. Given the amount of reviews on this page and for the same issue - delay and shitty customer service - I too will take this to my bank to dispute this charge.
Don’t waste your money, go to Bunnings!

I purchased early February and was told 4-6wk turnaround. When I had heard nothing in 4wks, I reached out and got a generic response indicating their turnaround time. I replied suggesting the complete lack of any contact made me nervous. Immediate response apologising and reassuring me. When I got to 6wks, I replied to same email - it bounced back saying “no such email”. Website is now completely gone too! NZ site is still operating however. Lost $250.
Further to their reply, I have now received more emails. Today, I received the tracking number. Despite their advice below that it was shipped yesterday, the tracking simply says “label created by sender”, still no confirmation from AUSPOST that item
has left warehouse. I remain pessimistic z

Paid $179 21st November 2025, received doormat 20 March 2026. 4 months for a standard mat. They replied to my emails in reasonable time with every excuse possible. The product is ordinary; could have bought similar from Bunnings for a fraction of the cost. Dont fall for their marketing!

Ordered in November with an expected 5 week delivery period. 5 months later I'm still waiting and they have advised they are hoping to be able to deliver in a few more weeks. Would certainly not recommend others to purchase. I received no updates other than when I contacted them. Terrible customer service from what appears to be a totally inept company. No offer of a discount for this or even a future purchase. This was my third purchase but will definitely be my last.

They add a bit of lux to my front porch. Have had a number of people comment on them.
Made the purchase early Jan, and they were delivered earch March. So approx 7 week (i read they took a while for delivery- so i was expecting that)
Really happy with mypurchase.

Ordered my everlast mat on 26/11 and still waiting for it…14 weeks so far, completely ridiculous for a standard mat. Will be my first and last order

I'm another who has ordered a generic mat on the 30th of November. I contacted them in the middle of January and had a reply that it would be sent soon... Now it's the 27th of Feb and nothing has been received.

I have sent another email today asking for a refund if it cannot be sent this week.

My advice is not to fall for their marketing and use someone else for a mat. :(

Ordered 30 November 2025 and it’s now 20 Feb 2026 and still no mat.
Not a custom order. Apparently I “missed their pre Christmas cut off date” of 10 November 2025 and got pushed into the new year production queue.
They’re saying end of Feb early March. This is ridiculous, it’s a door mat! They need to spend a less on their social media marketing budget and more on actual stock.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Avoid at all costs, longest delivery time. Worst and cheapest quality ever made. Ink run all over the under mat. Poorest quality at the highest price. Supposedly outdoor mats- pfft does not last at all we threw out after 3 months but quality only lasted max 2 months

Ordered a mat on 23/10/2025 with a simple design, supposed to take 4-6 weeks at a cost of $300. Received a generic email on 12th December advising there was a delay and orders would be delivered in January 2026 as soon as possible due to a delay in supplies. It is now 1st of February 2026. I have tried contacting them 3 times - only way is via email or via contact form on their website. No response. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card provider. Terrible customer service!
