I sent the free postage package on 12 August 2025 via my local post office. Royal Mail tracking shows pacakge to have been delivered on 13 August at 9.18am. To date I have not been contacted by phone or text, despite the 'Don't sit on it' claim that you will be contacted within 24 hours. I email the help centre on 21 August, no reply. I have sent another email via the Don't sit on it website as there appear to be noone answering the telephone service. The items I sent were gold. This service is a scam. USE at your peril. I will look to report this to the police.

A quick and very good experience sent it off and in 2 days had a good offer and money straight into my account will be using them again

Simple and speedy service from requesting g the postage pack , sending the box of items and getting an offer plus fast payment as promised . Send your items we were surprised at the offer first class company and the lady who called was brilliant

Absolutely appalling offers (sent some old toys off and at least one of them was worth approx £80) got an offer of £43! Do not use these, find the time and sell your items on auction sites. Items were returned broke as well.

I applied on line for the information and packaging etc. Received everything needed the next day. Supplied is a large tough plastic package, bubble wrap and an address lable. Please note it is free postage.
I sent an assortment of goods in a cardboard box using the address lable. Within 2 days I received an offer via text which I accepted. The money was in my bank the same day.
I can highly recommend this company they are honest, trustworthy and fair. I couldn't have wished fir a better service.

Quick and easy service
Sent text on Monday for returns package, received and returned with items to he valued
Offer received Thursday afternoon (more than expected) and money in my account by the Friday

I was really hopeful that this company, with adverts on the radio and all, it would be believable and trustworthy. Far from imagining what was about to happen.
Initially I followed the procedure and ask for the free pack to send the items. After receiving it, I send my 7 items knowing they were not of great value but just to see if the system works really and how much could they offer for them. In my opinion those items, all as good as new, could worth around £40 all together.
About 10 days after sending the items I received a message referring that some items were damaged and they would have to be returned. Another week later I finally received the parcel with my items in it, clearly battered and destroyed. I was shocked when I opened the parcel. Everything in pieces inside and some larger items were totally banged. Even some small items inside were broken in half as if something very heavy hit them.
We can always tell when the damage is done by faulty packaging but, this time I could clearly see, judging by the condition of the items, that they were clearly thrown somewhere and battered with a hammer or something similar.
It's as if the items of no interest to them are then damaged on purpose with the excuse that the damage was caused by transport.
I send them a message about this and, about a week later I got a reply that states: "Thank you for recently sending your items to us. Your enquiry is now closed. If you require a further pack at any time, please let us know. Thanks again."
For me this is very disrespectful and says everything about the company.

1_So I'm flying to Asia in 10 days & hears the advert on the Radio to pack in UNWANTED items into a Royal mail bag and get PAID ob the SAME DAY! Or if I don't ACCEPT just phone up and "Reject the OFFER" & don't sit on it will "RETURN my Items FREE of CHARGE!

3_Parcels up my 512GB tablet STILL in the BOX,with the FILM screen STILL on the FRONT that's how NEW this 512GB tablet WAS!

4_I received a TXT 3DAYS after the TRACKING number actually RECEIVED this 512GB tablet BNIB and guess what the TXT SAID:

"OFFER you £5.10P!!! Boooo!!!!

6_That was 512GB tablet BNIB and this company do NOT answer their phone's AFTER 3DAYS!!! Leave a VM, I was OBVIOUSLY going to Decline the MEASLY £5.10P offer and:

7_NO 1 would ANSWER the PHONE and I'm going to ASIA Shortly now, I just EMAILED 📧 the COMPANY as LAST RESORT & they DIDN'T even RESPOND with TRACKING from ROYAL MAIL!!!

8_CHAP _CHAP the DOOR goes and it was actually a CHEAP delivery Company!! A with my 512GB tablet BNIB which I'm now going to sell on Ebay for @ LEAST £60_£100odd! At LEAST I'll not GET CONNED!!!

7_This company just PREY on VULNERABLE people whom are DESPERATE for the MONEY! In the HOPE that your REALLY NEEDING the MONEY, so that THEY THEMSELVES can PROFITEER from the VULNERABLE person they've just treated with such DISPRESPECT& CLEARLY BLANKED the phone Lines in the HOPE that this person ACCEPTS that "MEASLY OFFER of £5.10P for something worth £60_£100 at the very LEAST!!

Operates TERRIBLY in HOPE that you shall be in the vulnerable enough POSITION to ACCEPT there MEASLY offer, which in my case August #2025 was a
"FRACTION of the tablets True value!!!!"

I shall absolutely NEVER, EVER use this COMPANY EVER again!!!!

Sent my items but offer was not satisfactory. I have asked for items to be returned several times. Nothing received yet. Not very happy. Waiting for a reply since 1st August

Posted some unwanted/broken jewellery and some old watches i didn't wear anymore.

2 days later had a call with a valuation which I accepted and payment was in my account 5 minutes after the call.

Great service from start to finish.

Simple process to follow. Prompt response (within 48 hrs), and payment made. Overall, a really pleasant way of disposing of surplus valuables.

Getting the pack was great and quick but then it all went downhill. Did not hear anything for 10 days and then picked up some random phone call at home. It was a text message rather than a person or voicemail! Couldn't understand it. Then I suddenly had a delivery and it was my items sent back without even being opened. What a waste of time and effort. Pointless company, do not use!!

Very informative initial pack. I hadn't done this before and didn't know what an exhaustive range of items that could be included. Everything I needed was in the information pack and it was easy to send off via my local post office. Within 3 days I received the phone call with my offer, I was able to discuss aspects with the very helpful caller and literally minutes later the agreed proceeds were in my bank account.

Posted on the Saturday got a call on the Monday with an offer and it was put straight in my bank account no waiting for it to arrive

More than 2 weeks since I declined and offer made by Dont Sit On It for a box full of items, and promises made to return the items, I haven't received the return and no response from sending multiple message and attempts to contact the call centre.

If there was a minus score i would select that!
The offer to me was appalling, so I requested my items to be returned. Unfortunately I got somebody else’s, with their personal information so a data breach thrown in. They don’t know where my data or belongings are, and nobody was ‘in the office on a Friday’ to address the problem, which is also worrying. Save yourself the worry of them loosing not only your things but not protecting personal information and avoid at all cost… Watchdog here I come!!!
