Vague Responses and Poor Communication
I contacted Dodl after previously requesting closure of my accounts by email and receiving no response.
Although the adviser was polite, the answers were vague and lacked clarity. I was told my ISA closure was in progress, but couldn't get a definite answer about whether all accounts would be closed or whether an upcoming monthly charge would still be collected.
I would have appreciated clearer communication and reassurance that my cancellation was being handled properly.

Easy and simple investing. No hard selling and in app support is amazing. The AI bot is really good but it’s very easy to speak to a human quickly and any questions I’ve had have been resolved!

Great product for 1st timers
Great product for 1st timers, however if you know what you want to invest in, it is quite limited. Treat this as a stepping stone between a nutmeg/monzo style "Medium risk" pot and actual investing. Most ETF's were not listed.

The app is very easy to manage and give you the correct amount of information you need. Compared to other apps AJ bell dodl is better for beginners.
The layout is simple and easy to understand and I am happy so far.
You can start small and invest cautiously and gain experience and confidence.
My advice never invest more then you can manage if you were to lose some or big part of your investment.

Good concept. Unfortunately app is rendered unusable by pop up notifications. Virtually Impossible to login or navigate around due to them blocking the links. Would advise using another company.
