DLG Auto Services is Direct Line Group’s UK network of bodyshops, today consisting of 23 garages nationwide which makes us one of the largest repair groups in the UK. We repair around 100,000 accident damaged cars every year, and all cars are repaired to British Kitemark BS 10125 standard, the British safety standard for vehicle damage repair. All repair work comes with a 5-year guarantee, and we are committed to ensuring we meet the manufacturers repair standards to ensure our customers vehicles are repaired to the highest standards. By investing in new technologies, we are preparing the business for the future and will have a better understanding of how technology will affect the design and manufacture of cars. Our high operating efficiency allows us to deliver excellent cost control whilst meeting our environmental targets through lowering emissions and increased recycling. We are exploring a range of solutions to embed our environmental goals as part of our emissions reduction strategy, including using alternative fuels such as hydrogenated vegetable oil and energy efficient lighting. Shocking service
Shocking service
Absolutely shocking. Rude staff, did not fix the car properly. Made an appointment to fix the problem later but technican never turned up(twice).
They did not investigate correctly a car, so when it come back to me, I spotted some internal damages.

The good points
The good points: Was well informed through the whole process. Was offered a home delivery once the vehicle was completed which saved me picking it up! The delivery driver and telephone staff were very courteous and professional.
Now for the negative bit, the inside of my car, the driver's seat, driver mat area and the seat and mat behind the drivers side were absolutely soaking wet when the vehicle was returned! I did not realise until I sat in my car and found my suit was drenched. When I rang DLG, the lady explained it must have been because the mechanics must have left my car window open over the weekend (it had been raining heavy for 2 days prior to my car being returned).
I was given £20 compensation!
To be fair to DLG they did ask me to return the car on the same day so they can get it dried, however I was unable to leave work so had to have it dried myself.

1. The drivers were respectful & polite.
2. The office was NOT able to give time of collection & delivery, which was quite inconvienient.
3. Office was unable to tell me the total cost of repair when, I am sure the total cost is less than my excess.
